Sarah has created a dynamic and comfortable place to restore and relax while you discover all that the Black Hills has to offer. Details such as park passes and a wheeled grocery tote were so very appreciated. The Johnny Cash theme is fun and classy, not cheesy. And the location is perfect—so close to essential retailers, easily walkable to restaurants, bars & shops, and super accessible to Custer State Park and other areas of interest. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

We stayed 8 days while hiking and touring the Black Hills and vicinity. This was a perfect base from which to start each day's activity. The kitchen was well equipped to handle all our food prep needs whether it be breakfast, lunch for the trail or supper on our return. The house had plush living room furniture to relax on after a day on the trail/road and the beds were super comfortable. The house is located on a quiet neighborhood street, yet a 3-5 minute walk to a grocery store, drug store and several eateries. The level of effort put forth by the hosts in the housing amenities and hospitality is like nothing I've seen in my Airbnb/VRBO experience. This place is my new gold standard.

I rented the house for a long weekend with friends. House is really nice with modern updates. The basement area was a great space. This house is much nicer than a hotel in any of the local towns. I would stay here again.

The house was very comfortable and well stocked. Lots to do for the family with the hot tub, kids toys, pool table and arcade games. There was plenty of gathering space and a very peaceful backyard. It was the perfect place for our family reunion.

Lovely place to stay at to Enjoy the Sturgis rally and riding the Black Hills. Very convenient to everything. Walkability to town, restaurants, vendors, entertainment was great! Thanks for letting us use the Black Hills Base Camp!
