Great cottage in the centre of Moffat. Perfect location for us. Having 3 children, the fact that the 2nd bedroom had 3 single beds was brilliant. Clean and had everything we needed ie: enough towels for all of us, tea, sugar, all the crockery needed. Easy check in and check out with the lock box. Would stay again!

Staying at Joe’s place was a great experience. The apartment was spotless, clean, very spacious and well equipped. Joe was always very responsive and helpful and made sure we had the best stay possible. It’s really close to the centre by transports and really easy to walk around. I can’t recommend this place enough! Thank you again Joe!

Absolutely fantastic stay in a beautiful home. Our family of five had plenty of space to spread out and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the wonderful village of Strathaven, and the great home. We very much appreciated the robes and slippers, which added to the coziness and comfort of the home. Naomi's suggestions for a local coffee shop and the best place to catch the train for Edinburgh were incredibly helpful. Our kids loved seeing the animals nearby (and especially enjoyed a visit from David the goat who Naomi brought down for us to pet). The house had everything we needed and was close to restaurants and supermarkets in the nearby village. It was a wonderful place to come back to after a day exploring all around Scotland. We highly recommend!

Really lovely cottage, very comfortable and cosy (especially with the log burner on!). Very well equipped. Good quality mattresses and bedding, making it extremely comfortable. Some very thoughtful touches too such as homemade scones and jam, which were top class! And all the essentials on the fridge for breakfast. Great location for visiting New Lanark Mill World Heritage Site. Not far out of Glasgow either.

Just a lovely cosy house, yet spacious and stylish! Kids, dog and grown-ups had a ball. Hot tub fabulous. All the lovely special treats, fizz and cooking basics made it home from home. Kitchen fully equipped and such a sociable space. Dog did try a couple of Houdini’s under gate, but due to him being jumbo couldn’t quite manage - any smaller he could have. Thanks xxx

Lorraine’s place was great, big living space and comfortable beds with an apartment full of great amenities. 9 of us across 2 apartments was very spacious. Would definitely stay here again. 5/5

We loved Fairy Cottage's location, very peaceful, but there is lots to do in the surrounding area and it's very close to Lochside where we were attending a wedding reception. Hugh was so helpful and friendly - nothing too much trouble. He greeted us when we arrived and showed us around. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need for a stay in this area. We only wished that we could have stayed longer - we were there for just 1 night. Angela had left us some little cakes which were much appreciated by us with a cup of tea after our 5 hour jorney from Lancashire after delays on the M6. Would definitely recommend Fairy Cottage if you're ever in New Cumnock area. Many thanks Hugh and Angela! Peter and Diane

We regularly use Peel cottage as a base when visiting family in East Kilbride and Glasgow. Perfect size for our family. Immaculate as always with everything you could need for a cosy getaway.

Just home today after a lovely stay at The Longhouse. We were a family group of seven adults (and one little dog) and the house was perfect for us. It was warm and cosy, very well equipped, modern, spacious and had everything we needed. Natalie was very helpful when I messaged her and replied immediately. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay at The Longhouse.
