Pet-friendly holiday rentals in South Lanarkshire

Enjoyed a great few days at Old Polmadie. Old Polmadie area has been completely redeveloped in recent years. Lots of little parks nearby and swans in the pond. It was a great set up for our three generations of family and very helpful to have 3 bathrooms plus the backyard plus parking for two cars. There was a convenience store and coffee shop at the corner plus the nearby Jenny Burn pub/restaurant was also dog friendly and walkable. For our nights out it was a 30 min walk to merchant city area or an easy Uber. The house was also stocked with the various necessities that are always helpful on arrival to an Airbnb. It was an easy home to walk into and enjoy. Thank you Kevin!!!

My stay here was fantastic! Our family absolutely loved our stay! The space was clean, cozy, and well-equipped and exactly as described. The host was incredibly attentive and responsive. We felt at home during our entire stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again or recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely wonderful! The setting was beautiful and peaceful, on a lovely farm in the countryside. The cottage was cosy, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Mary was incredibly kind and always happy to help. It was the perfect countryside getaway — we truly enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

Firstly, Couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming and nicer host. Rural scenery but also overlooking nearby East Kilbride, it’s a lovely location: take a right out of the house and 2 minutes drive/5-10 minute walk down the lane leads right into the retail park with a Sainsburys superstore, fast food chains, great clothing shops, etc. Accommodation is cosy, clean and spacious enough for 4 to of us (including two boys aged 8 and 6).

Stayed here for 6 weeks because of an insurance problem at my home and it was a lovely place to be. The area is fine, near a really nice Tollcross park, close to the motorway if you're driving, and some food/coffee places nearby. The communication from Agneszkia was 10/10 with any issues or questions, and they have a lovely labrador called Zara, it made my morning to see her outside in the garden next door when I walked to my car, she's very friendly. The house itself is homely, nice bathroom too and no issues with the bed. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic location with fabulous views and lovely garden. Hosts friendly and very helpful. Arrived to a welcome hamper and large jar of treats for our dogs. Fantastic dog walks from cottage. Cottage was well equipped for us and 2 dogs. We really enjoyed our stay, loved Moffat and recommend the cottage for staying in Moffat.

Mary was fast to respond to any issues that arose, we were in her property for 2 months and anything which required attention was seen to quickly. the house is in one of the nicest parts of town, I'd generally quiet and comfortable.

Holmlea is in a perfect location to access all the amenities of Moffat but still incredibly peaceful. It is definitely a five star cosy cottage with everything you could need and Sam is a really helpful host. The nicest place we have ever stayed at in Moffat!

The cottage is lovely and in such a tranquil location. Accessible to both Edinburgh and Glasgow. It was immaculately clean and very cosy. Just what we needed.

Wonderful stay, house was lovely, great for families. Quiet location not far from Biggar. Will definitely return.

Russel is a great host. Easy check-in and the place has all we need. Since it was a holiday stay he even gave us a check-in gift which was muchly appreciated. The place is in a great location being very close to the train with lots of local places if you need things along with great cafes if you want. We especially like that it is on the first floor (we are getting older) and quiet. We have stayed here before and will continue to use it when we can since our daughter and family live a manageable walk nearby.

Hannah was very helpful, giving us recommendations before the stay. Apartment was lovely and everything we needed. Would definitely use again. Only downside was how many keys/locks to get inside and some hard to turn but we managed. Great stay, thank you!!

Katie is the best host, unintrusive but always very quick to respond both before and during our stay. She even went the extra mile with a few specific requests we asked. The flat was easy to access (lock box) and she provides a great welcome document with all you need to know to settle in to the flat and get started exploring the area. Her place is delightfully quirky and had all we needed for our week in Glasgow. Shawlands is a great neighborhood, lots of bars, restaurants, a huge beautiful park, and really easy public transport links with the rest of the city. Hope to stay at Katie's again someday!

Loved our stay. Very cozy little spot walkable into the town for pubs restaurants etc and lovely nice walks right on the doorstep. Steve and Allison were very helpful and responsive.

We enjoyed a lovely two night stay here. Cameron and Leanne were extremely helpful and great hosts. We appreciated the stickers and colouring in paper for our children and the caravan was well supplied with toiletries, washing up liquid and tassimo pods for the coffee machine. The caravan was very clean and cosy, with comfy befs and the hot tub facilities were excellent. The outdoor area was perfect for our children to play safely. The location was brilliant with lots to do nearby and a great woods just behind where we managed to see several deers. We had a very special visit and will definitely visit again on our next trip to scotland. Thank you for everything!

Claire welcomed us in to he beautiful home to celebrate my 40th Birthday. The younger kids really enjoyed helping out with the rabbits, chickens and guinea pigs and were lucky enough to meet some recently hatched chicks. The older kids (and adults) spent most of their time between the games room and the hot tub. Fantastic setting for a family gathering as there really is something for everyone. Great memories and a fantastic, modern venue with everything you need to have a relaxing time, or as we found, the perfect venue for a birthday celebration.

Lesley was a welcoming, kind and friendly host. Everything was perfect in the apartment and exactly as described. It was helpful to have her living on site as she could assist us with any issues immediately; especially with bad weather warnings and giving directions and tips about the area. She was flexible with the checkout times due to the snow which helped us alot. She facilitated our pet cat very well. We are grateful to her for sharing her beautiful home so warmly and generously. We highly recommend this location as its beautiful and would come again. We give Lesley a full, 5 star thumbs up for her impeccable service. Thanks!

We had a relaxing stay this weekend. Great location, so peaceful and lovely to sit in the hot tub. The house is clean and cosy inside, the bed is very comfy and the kitchen has everything you’d need. Thanks for our stay!

It was a lovely lodge and the hot tub made my days. So warm and relaxing. It was really quiet and peaceful, surrounded by stunning Scottish scenery. I wish we could have stayed longer. The only one thing I’d say is that when you use the ensuite shower make sure no other person is using water while you shower as the shower cuts in and out and goes from hot to cold. Everything else was great. 👍 😄

A lovely place for a relaxing holiday.

The cottage was clean and just like the pictures. The cottage had a lot of cooking utensils which was very useful. The cottage was surrounded by farmland which made it very private which was lovely as all we wanted to do was relax especially in the hot tub. Would recommend to anyone to stay here, we all enjoyed our stay. Thank you
