Holiday rentals with beach access in South Somerset District

Great place. We have already booked it for the 2025 time in Poole near family. It would be great if the internet connection was improved. We had to restart the router a number of times to watch Christmas films after supper! But it was a great space to be in.

Lovely stay for a couple of nights. extremely convenient for the beach yet quiet, though you can hear people moving around in the flat above at night, but not an issue for a short stay.

Such a great location, Nikki was extremely helpful and the details for check in were brilliant! We chose a particularly wonderful weekend of weather in Weymouth and the apartment was a perfect location to enjoy it all! A fabulous little bolt hole right by the sea, I just wish we could have watched the waves from the window! Thanks Nikki, a very needed break away!

Dawn & Richard were fantastic hosts. The accommodation was fantastic and spotless. Bed was very comfortable with great blinds to block out the light and the bathroom was lovely and clean. Couldn’t fault anything would definitely return.

Stylish and comfy. Beautiful sea views from the lounge, easy to unload cases in the loading bay and then park around the corner for free. We didn't need the car as you can walk from the front door to the beach and then along the parade. There is also a cinema opposite if the weather is not kind. Great little bakeries, friendly local pubs and some interesting buildings and history. The flat is spotless and individually decorated, like visiting a well traveled friend. This is a home from home with even the smallest details thought about and one of the most comfy sofas I have had the pleasure of lounging on. The kitchen is well laid out with a separate dining table. Large green plants, interesting art work and Sebastian was a thoughtful host, available if needed and provided excellent local recommendations.

Great little flat, walking distance into Swanage but lovely quiet road, and a stones throw from the beach. Flat was lovely - light and airy, and warm! Will definitely be back when we next need to be in Swanage

Great place to stay for our couple of nights in Swanage. Really close to the town centre and beach. A clean and comfortable flat with a lovely view and responsive hosts. The shower is tricky to use without flooding the bathroom, especially for a tall person, but it is understandable given the nature of the space and is in keeping with the very reasonable price of the accommodation. We stayed here with our two children (12 and 9) and all loved it!

This little quaint home from home was simply beautiful. The decor was very apt for by the sea. The location is spot on, didn’t need to use the car once we’d parked up (right outside the cottage) Town with all the amenities within 5 minute walk. Train:bus available also at a short distance. Lots of Eateries and pubs near by. I loved sitting just a stones throw from the front door with my book and a glass of wine! Plenty of space for my teenagers to stretch out in various rooms! Beds were comfy, lovely bedding and towels for our use. Will definitely return. Loved our 5 day break!

We had a lovely couple of days staying here, perfect for two small families to celebrate the new year! And our younger kids loved the set up in the smallest room. Would definitely stay again

Fantastic new year break. The house is really spacious and perfect for a group of 4 adults and 4 children. Kitchen was very well equipped and everything was clean and tidy. Ideal location, just a short walk from the beach and town.

We had a fabulous stay. The accommodation was fantastic. We loved the hi spec kitchen for the only meal we cooked whilst there. It was a home from home. Only being a brisk 5 min walk from the promenade was a bonus. Near to restaurants and shops too.

Fantastic stay for a big group. Each bedroom was set up for double beds with en-suites which was ideal. The kitchen and dining room was perfect for a social dinning experience. The lounge was big but was very cosy (also a great tv). The parking was tough but some of us parked right up the road in a quiet neighbourhood for free. Plenty to do in the local area, 3 pubs, monkey zoo, secluded beach, Teignmouth with much more across the river. Would highly recommend for a big family or group of friends. 👌🏼

We had five of us coming from all directions and at different times...And Anne was very helpful with questions some of us had when we arrived. The house was really well equipped and the Table Football and Dart board was a nice touch..and so was the Shortbread on arrival which was very welcome with a cup of tea. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone else looking to spend time in Swanage. Perfectly located and so well equipped. A home away from home.

Another great stay here! This time, for a longer period of time, additional cleaning and replenishment was offered throughout. A very proactive and helpful host who obviously takes pride in their property and guests. Would highly recommend to others and consider using again in the future.

We have stayed here many times before and will stay again, it is such a lovely place. Brilliant for walking, right next to Chesil Beach. Excellent !!

We had an absolutely lovely stay. The apartment was as described and very comfortable. The location is beautiful - I’d recommend a visit to the park behind the apartment block, which has a lovely little beach.

really lovely place 5 stars ever so helpful and friendly yes we are booked to go back again Spencer and Tracey and little marley the dog. and are dog friendly and 2 minute walk to the beach. beach has a pool bin for dog poo and beach dog friendly

We were looking for a few days in a peaceful location with wonderful views and this apartment delivers - it’s cosy and warm with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Check in (and check out) was extremely easy with Sue and we enjoyed chatting with her (and neighbour, Val) and it was great to have someone locally available just in case we needed anything (we didn’t fortunately). Location was perfect for us with lots of places to visit nearby. Would recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again

A wonderful half term break stay at this beautiful home. Very nice place to stay and highly recommended. Our little 6 month old had everything she needed and was very well thought of. It’s safe to say she loved her first trip to Weymouth. Very close to the beach and nice and secluded. Great communication and a lovely host. Thank you

I never actually got to stay in Andreas place this time as I had a small work issue that delayed my arrival :-(. With that being said I have stayed here many times and always had an amazing stay. I will definitely be back.

Lovely spacious flat, high ceilings and beautifully decorated rooms. The property had everything we needed and is in a good location, about 15 minute walk to the main shops/restaurants along the sea front, there is a lovely view out the living room window overlooking the sea. The beds are comfortable and the bedding & towels very soft. Miles was very hospitable and attentive before and throughout our stay.

We had a 3 night stay here as a family of 3 and would highly recommend it. Great location with beautiful views of the sea - can watch the sunrise in the morning! Carley was great at communication. Everything was super simple and the flat had everything we needed for our stay!

What a beautiful place, the nicest Air BnB we’ve stayed in. Scott and Kelly are great hosts and the apartment has everything you need with a great off road parking space. The location is great for exploring the local area, it was our first time visiting Poole and there’s so much to see and do. If you’re a runner, Poole parkrun is highly recommended and only about 5 minutes drive away. We’d definitely recommend Scott and Kelly’s place for a stay in Poole.
