A very personal and warm welcome from a great host, a lovely room with all you will need, a fantastic breakfast with all locally sourced wonderfully cooked food, and delicious home made and baked bread (thank you Blodwyn). You also get great conversation with Gail, informing you all about the local area. Gail and Kevin started off what was a great weekend. We will definitely be back.

Excellent room , so light and spacious. Tastefully presented and very cosy En-suite was spotless .

Clean, spacious, and comfortable I stayed for two nights in a two bed apartment with a colleague. Booking in at the main hotel reception was easy and simple. It’s a 5 star service from the moment you arrive until you leave the front door A little bit more costly, but you get so much more for your money than the norm.

Jacqueline was a superb host, really friendly and helpful. We arrived quite early and she was very accommodating and allowed us to check in early. The room was exactly like the pictures and very well situated to fistral beach.

A great little place, Jax was in touch before and during our stay when needed. Makes you so welcome. You’ll also see her loving life down at Fistral Beach! We were in Sennen Room 1 totally private and self contained with good bathroom with shower. We did have one of her full English breakfasts on our last morning which was superb. There’s only first come first served ‘on street’ parking with time restrictions but we managed for our 3 nights to get parked. You need to move by 10am but it worked for us as we were out all day. If you have dogs as we did, there’s a grassy area to the side perfect for early morning and last thing at night. Easy to walk into Newquay town, just a few minutes and Fistral beach is a short stroll away. The harbour and Newquay beach all walkable. There’s a short cut across the golf course to Fistral beach or just walk around it. Great base for exploring other beaches further away if you have a car. Great stay, great value, great location and would return

We had a great stay with Jackie at Smarties, short walk to fistral and Newquay town! Excellent breakfast in the morning. Jackie made us feel so welcome and is great fun! Would recommend and stay again!

Room was really nicely decorated and larger than picture looked, also very clean and warm and the bed was extremely comfortable (I have a bad back so that was a huge help) staff were lovely too, the place is great for getting into Oxford city which I hadn't realised (walking distance to the railway station) - highly recommend and plan on coming back with my missis to visit Blenhiem palace properly as I was really impressed with that too

Well well well what can i say? A true hidden gem with a fantastic host. We were so lucky to stay in the room ‘Little Fistral’ triffic little spot. Thanks to Jackie & co (woof woof) for the banana bread and beers on arrival. What a crazy night that followed. Would highly recommend Little Fistral to any young budding surfer boys looking for a spacious retreat. Yours truly Ogres & High Elf Surfs up

The place a little hidden gem, attached to a very cool pub with some very cool themed nights. Anja was there upon arrival and made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a fun, but also nice little getaway, you can’t go far wrong here

Peaceful, clean and luxurious. The perfect balance of modern luxury and traditional building, warm friendly staff and great atmosphere. Tastefully renovated bathroom and nicely furnished.

Rassie and the staff at Host are extremely hospitable and generous. The location is SO central to anything you want to do and it really feels like your own private retreat within the heart of St Ives. The room itself is just as pictured and described (amazing), and made for a really comfortable getaway. The private car parking space is a fantastic bonus, and just as close to Host as the equally close train station, so both travel options are great depending on your preference. Rassie was the stand out to my stay and made me feel incredibly welcome - I will definitely be returning!

Had a great stay at Jacobs place, precise and easy check in. The room was spacious and clean, a nice kitchen space if you want a cuppa, and shops just around the corner

My parents stayed here for an 80th birthday treat and had a wonderful time in Oxford. The Accommodation was clean, comfortable and easy to find and get to. They had a lovely long weekend. Thank you!
