Cosy Idyllic Cabin in South Devon

A luxurious, rustic haven away from it all. The luxury bits: French linen bedding, robes, soft towels & toiletries, woodburner, a good book, no street lights..You might just sleep better than you have in years. The rustic bits: There's hot water & a large sink in the bathroom- & kitchen- & a hot outdoor shower at the back of the cabin running off gas & hose, which according to the reviews, is rather a favourite! In the winter the cabin is heated by the woodburner, or a portable gas fire.

With its pretty whitewashed exterior the cottage is set next to a trickling stream next to the historic Norman church of St. George in the heart of Georgeham village. Troedyrhiw is a sanctuary, a two bedroom, detached, character stone and beamed cottage nestling in a peaceful, wooded valley on the Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire border where nature is thriving. We are happy to welcome well behaved dogs to the cottage. Troedyrhiw is the perfect base for being in nature, walking, cycling and exploring the scenic areas of this beautiful part of West Wales. The cottage was built in the 1800's and is a traditional, stone Welsh cottage.

The Barn, Soussons Farm, a cosy welcoming space to use as a base for exploring Dartmoor, surrounded by beautiful open space with numerous bridle paths and footpaths right on your door step. It's a converted granite barn with open plan living room with woodburner and kitchen upstairs. Two comfy bedrooms downstairs. Bathroom with roomy shower. No mobile signal but limited broadband, and WiFi calling. Well behaved dogs welcome for a fee payable before arrival.
