Castle holiday rentals in Spain

Very good week in a small village of character in the middle of the mountain. Typical functional house for 8. Very friendly and accommodating host. I would recommend this place to have a lovely vacation!

Our stay at Casa Rural Masía El Pinet in Alfafara was exceptional. Sergio, the owner, welcomed us with great kindness and surprised us with a delicious homemade sweet coke for our group of 15. The house, located in the middle of nature, is charming, is impeccably clean and perfectly equipped. We highly recommend this experience and thank Sergio for his hospitality.

This was an extraordinarily memorable stay for my family and I. It's not everyday you get to stay in a 12th century castle! The property itself is lovely, the surroundings are incredible. Be aware, it is rustic, in every sense of the word, some dust, we met a bat, the furniture is antique, but to us this all added to the charm. Would love to return as the castle continues to be renovated. Lovely Place!

The house is perfect for going with children, in the garden and the outdoor area is great. Everything was super clean and there were great details for the little ones (toys, plastic dishes, a glass with handles...). Very comfortable beds and impeccable bathrooms. Undoubtedly, para repeat.

Esmeralda’s place was clean and comfortable and the yard and patio were so nice! The location was peaceful and private and easy to get to by car. Nearest market or restaurant is about 6 km away, so you may want to bring your own food. Esmeralda was fast to respond and shared helpful suggestions about nearby activities. She was wonderful to us and even spent time helping us with travel info back to Burgos. We loved our stay and our host!

Everything is super careful . Impeccable and nothing is missing. On arrival in the fridge there were some beers and cocacolas for us . Everything we asked was resolved. We had a great time at a medieval party that we did for the whole family. Thank you for everything !

The house is great and very comfortable. We didn't miss anything during the stay. We had bad luck with the weather because it rained for 5 days. Place to come back without a doubt.

We loved Gloria and Sebas’s enchanting castle so much we spent a lot of time just hanging out on the grounds. They made us feel right at home and provided lots of helpful suggestions of what we can do around the area. We also enjoyed hearing about the rich history of the castle. We will definitely love to come back here. ¡Hasta pronto!

Unique and beautiful home with gorgeous views. Very clean. Full of character and art. Perfect for three couples

We had a fantastic stay. The sea view from the porch is way better than shown on the photos. Pool and outdoor-area are great, our kids had the time of their lives running and jumping without disturbing anybody as there is no house directly nearby. Communication with Mary was smooth with her responding very quick and friendly. Checkinn was easy. Thanx Mary.

We had a too short stay at Andrea & Carolinas accomodation for the amazing place it is. It is well worth a visit with great opportunities to spend the days and two very lovely hosts. Great recommendation!

We were on a family trip and everything was perfect. Ignacio, the owner of the house, is super friendly and attentive to everything. Very good communication about any questions with the reservation, he always responds very quickly. The house is wonderful, superb facilities, very clean and tidy, as well as very complete in relation to board games, kitchen... Overall, the stay was very pleasant, we couldn't have chosen better and there are no negative words about the accommodation. The Hidalgo family hopes to be able to repeat soon!

Staying in a room in a Spanish town-castle; fabulous! The room was simple as it should be; stone walls, wooden doors and cabinets, also wooden roof beams. The room was quiet and no disturbing noise from outside. The AC-inverter took care of heating so you couldn’t have any issues with that. Dishes and cutlery were enough for breakfast and lunch; dinner you had plenty of choices in nearby restaurants. I recommend!

Great accommodation, spectacular views. Heated floor that makes you not go cold, a very intimate apartment and is ideal for a couple retreat. Also the owners are very friendly and helpful, thank you☺️

We had a lovely and peaceful stay at this lovely little castle. Everything was very clean, spacious and friendly with a beautiful touch of modernity. The pool, lit at night, is a real plus. Asunción and Salvador were always available and friendly.

We stayed here in April as a family with a 7 year old. This is not just a place to stay, it's a wonderful experience! The castle is gorgeous and has an interesting history, as we learned from Sebas on a really lovely tour. The grounds are magical, with lots to explore for our son (plus games, books and toys). Our apartment was on the first floor and looked better than in the photos. It had a lot of space, the fireplace was cozy and with separate bedrooms it's great to go with kids or two couples. The apartment is full of character, just what you'd expect from staying in a castle! Everything was clean and comfortable and Gloria and Sebas are the most welcoming and gracious hosts, always thinking of how to improve our stay and recommending places to go (we loved the short visits/hikes to the Monastery, the Minyona viewpoint and the Hermita, all with amazing views, and the 2 hour hike to the Salt de Sallent waterfall). All in all a wonderful stay, we'd love to come back in summer!
