Cave holiday rentals in Spain

A typical cave apartment in this area. It was a very interesting experience. The hosts are very sweet, communicative and helpful people and have given us many tips for the area.

Very simple, the location of Roman‘s villa is certainly one of the best on the entire island. Directly at the edge of the water, stunning views, direct access to various water-sport activities as well as loads of other things to do in order to discover the stunning surroundings. This place truly deserves a five star rating and Roman‘s friendly and helpful personality does the rest. We will be back as soon as we can! Thank you!

This place is tastefully renovated and down to the last detail! A great experience of atypical accommodation with its cave terrace!

Wow, what an amazing place! Situated at the foot of a cliff and nestled among fruit and walnut trees along a river, it is a little oasis of quiet and natural beauty, while still being accessible to the old city of Ronda. You can get into town via short drive or a steep uphill walk, whether sticking to the roads or traversing a challenging hiking trail (about a 30 minute hike for us to reach the top). It was a truly unique and amazing experience for us.

Jorge has been an outstanding host. Always available for questions and very flexible to make our stay a memorable experience. The apartment has it very well laid, with a lot of charm and it's a very particular place! We spent it from ten in our visit to Trujillo and part of it has been to find Jorge and his flat!

It was a pleasure to be received at Antonio's place a very clean home with all the comforts you want an exceptional experience to know that all these homes have a history since the Neolithic it seems to me a place full of history charming plien

Rosa is un Amor and Pedro too. Always willing to help with tips or eggs is missing to make crepes. The cave is large, clean and the swimming pool as well. In our cave there was only one bathroom that is little for ten people. There are two in the other cave.

We had an amazing 2 weeks in Carmen’s cave this July. The cave remained cool despite temperatures in the high 30s. Super to be on a summer holiday but to be free from air conditioning! We used both the self catering facilities in the cave as well as the restaurant at Cuevas al Jatib which was excellent and offered amazing sunset views! The surroundings were beautiful and we managed to do some exploring on foot. The pool and hammam were also a great facilities. The pool was included but we treated ourselves to a hammam session. We didn’t have a car but we would consider this useful if (when!) we return.

Miguel’s cave dwelling was beautiful and cosy. It was super clean and has the most comfortable bed and bedding. It felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. Miguel was very approachable, helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

It is a home in every detail with all the comforts in an enviable setting. The house is very cozy and living the experience of sleeping in a cave makes it very special. Also, Lieve is a fabulous host who is attentive to everything. A destination that is definitely worth going back to.

The best airbnb Perfect for a group of 10

This is the most satisfying home I've stayed in the past five years. Whether it's the surrounding environment, the quality of the house, the facilities, the hygiene level, or the attitude of the host, I am very satisfied. My family, friends and I felt very comfortable throughout the holiday and had a perfect vacation. I hope to come back again in the summer!

We spent an unforgettable weekend at the *Cueva Cascamorras* to end the year. The cave is spectacular, a perfect blend of comfort and an authentic, unique atmosphere. Ideal for relaxing and enjoying the tranquility in the area. Absolutely an experience that I 100% recommend for those looking for something special. Hope to be back soon!

We had a lovely time staying at Cueva La Loli. Adriana and Antonio were very hospitable hosts. When we arrived, they showed us around the dwelling and gave us many recommendations for things to do in Guadix. The cave house itself was a unique experience — probably the closest thing to hobbit holes! We’d never stayed anywhere like it. The entire neighborhood of cuevas was quite interesting, and we enjoyed walking around and exploring it. The hosts also gave us a ride to the train station when we checked out and sent us off with some delicious magdalenas (Spanish cupcakes).

The stay was very good. The house was very clean and tidy. The beds are super comfortable. It has great views of the river and bridge from the living room window and then from the terrace. The host was super friendly throughout the stay and was pending if we needed anything. It has everything described on the page. Good area of the village, close to everything. The host takes your luggage to the house as there is no car access to being very narrow streets almost all of the village. Heating in every room. We would certainly repeat.

Staying at the cave house in Mojácar was an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped foot into this bright, clean, and classy abode, we knew we were in for a special treat. Nestled in the heart of Mojácar Pueblo village, the location couldn't have been more perfect, with a myriad of restaurants and bars just a leisurely 5-minute stroll away. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the unparalleled hospitality of our host, Paris. Their warmth and understanding made us feel truly welcome and at home. Despite any unfortunate events caused by us, Paris remained gracious and accommodating throughout our stay. My husband and I cherished every moment spent in this enchanting cave house. It exuded a unique charm that left us feeling pampered and rejuvenated. Without a doubt, this experience will remain etched in our memories for years to come. Thank you, Paris, for making our stay in Mojácar an unforgettable one. We can't wait to return!

A fantastic cavehouse. Very peaceful and had everything we needed. About 1.5km walk down hill to the centre of Guadix. 200m from the nearest restaurant and bar. Rolando and Maria were great hosts. Very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

It's an amazing house. Just like the pictures. He sleeps spectacular , he has everything at home both the kitchen and electronic utensils that make the stay much simpler and cleaner. A TV with a spectacular sound bar, conga for cleaning at all times and has been a relaxing stay in a village with houses and stone streets. We will repeat for sure. Very friendly host. We had a problem on the day of arrival and not only I help us solve it, but it gave us benefits that we did not expect . Thank you very much for everything❤️

Fantastic place to relax. An interesting location with a great little museum about the caves as well. You do get noise from the nearby highway when you're outside, but that didn't really disturb us (and you can't hear it in the caves). Manuel and his colleagues were excellent hosts. We really enjoyed our stay - thank you!

Great location for visiting Bardenas Reales. It was really hot when we were over, but the cave itself remained lovely and cool. A bonus to have access to the municipal swimming pool.

The house is fascinating- some of the downstairs rooms are actually carved out of the rock- the pictures can`t really do it justice! You got a real sense of the history of the house, whlle at the same time it had all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including the best wifi connectivity that I have ever experienced in Spain- incredible for a mountain village. The house was very well equipped for a walking holiday, with an extensive library of local guide books and maps, as well as binoculars and walking poles. Ann-Helene was extremely kind, even though we made several changes to our booking due to family issues. We appreciated her patience.

We had a wonderful stay in the cave house - such a unique experience and lovely home. Spacious equipped with everything we needed. The views from the terrace patio were amazing and Chandra’s walking directions up the hill to the cave were very helpful.
