The Anchorage, Portmellon, Mevagissey

LizzieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing stay at The Anchorage. The location was superb, and the views from the house were my personal favorite part. I spent every spare minute in the sunroom looking at the ocean. There was plenty of space for us to all be comfortable and my children especially enjoyed the kids room with bunk beds! The town is beautiful and there are so many different beach options around to choose from. It is definitely a little stressful driving in the village (coming from from an American haha) but that aside it was a perfect end to our vacation and I plan on booking again (this time with some friends or maybe extended family to fill up the many bedrooms!)

The Gatehouse, Bradstone Manor

AmelieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I don’t think the pictures did this place justice- it was absolutely beautiful and homey and had everything we needed, including the comfiest bedding I’ve ever slept in. We were given great recommendations and the communication was quick, friendly and helpful. We did have a few woodlouse and even a beetle in the house but we were warned and there’s repellants so there wasn’t much more that the host could’ve done. The area was so peaceful and it was a perfect break from normal life. Wish we could’ve stayed for longer!

Listed house with private parking

DanRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Charming 2 levels townhome in a great location. Very walkable to the train, bus, and main shopping and dining thoroughfare. The permitted parking spot was a real premium. Note that the streets are very narrow in that historic section of Penzance, so drive with extra care. The hosts were communicative and able to arrange for a later check-out for us.

The location was perfect too and everything we wanted to do while there was within walking distance. Loved it.

Boconnion Barton w/ Swedish Hot Tub

SuzanneRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Boconnion was an absolutely stunning place to stay for a family Christmas from Australia. Henny was fantastic beforehand suggesting where to buy all our local fare for Christmas lunch. The house was perfect for 11 people and the hot tub was put to good use. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our 4 days of Christmas dishes and each bedroom and ensuite was divine. Thank you Henny for providing a perfect English Christmas for us.

Two bed semi house with parking in ideal location

DuncanRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We stayed at Sarah’s as we were in Newquay for a half marathon, the fairytale of Newquay 15 mile run, Sarah’s place was ideal, located just perfectly between fistral beach and the harbour. Really close to town, perfect to get to Sainsbury’s for any forgotten items. The fort inn pub is a must just for the view. Sarah gave us all the details for check in and everything was just as described. As we were there just before Christmas, Sarah had even put in a Christmas tree, which was an extra added touch. Thank you!

The Loft Cadgwith (Old Cellars Flat)

MichelleRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Beautiful, homely accommodation right next to the most amazing pub that serves great locally produced food. The location was just brilliant, right in the middle of a working fishing village with the most spectacular scenery. Access to walks along the costal paths were easy to find and even with the changeable weather we experienced during our stay we still managed to enjoy the views. Hannah was very quick to respond to any queries we had and a very helpful host, thank you Hannah. We would highly recommend and will definitely be booking again (in the vain hope that we may have some better weather)!

Swanpool Gardens. Short walk to the beach. Parking

WiebkeRating, 5 starstoday
We had a lovely time at Laura's place which is only a few minutes walk away from Swanpool Beach which we found very convenient. The holiday home has everything one could need. Laura being so responsive and kind felt very reassuring and positive. We would wholeheartedly recommend this Airbnb. Something we found surprising about Falmouth was how cheap taxis are. Parking in town can be challenging, so a taxi ride into town is a great option if you don't want to walk. We would also recommend a spa evening at St. Michaels Resort (close to the Airbnb) and dinner at Culture if you are after sth unusual.

3 Sea View Place

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a special little cottage. So unique with it being so close to the waters edge and location to the harbour. The view out to sea from the main bedroom was stunning. Loved the little dressing room. Great shower. The cottage is well equipped. Loved it and will definitely return!! Great places to eat. We loved Cintra in the harbour which does small plates. Had a lovely lunch at Portminster kitchen overlooking the harbour. We did a fab walk at Pendeen followed by lunch at Gunards head pub. All places are dog friendly.

Peaceful flat with Harbour Village views

JohnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Exactly what we wanted. Small, cosy, homely apartment. Easy access to Falmouth and other places nearby. Good local food, first class fish and chips within 5 minutes, (portions are huge), and Pizza's within a couple of minutes. Both cooked to order. Traditional pub, drinking only, but you are welcome to take food in from other places, round the corner. Further restaurants within easy access. Falmouth beach 10 minute drive. The apartment was very quiet. Parking was an added bonus. Would we visit again? Without a doubt.

PENZANCE, Lovely 1 Bedroomed Apartment.

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Chris was a fabulous, friendly host. The apartment was well equipped with essentials to get our stay started e.g. coffee, tea, bread, milk, butter and jam, plus we had access to oils, vinegars, herbs and spices. The bathroom was also well stocked with essentials. The apartment is in an excellent location - just a short walk to the centre of town, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and the train/bus stations. Chris's recommendations were very useful, particularly the Pocketful of Stones gin distillery where we had a fantastic gin tasting session. I can't recommend the property high enough. Thanks Chris for making our stay in Penzance so enjoyable!!

Absolutely nothing we can fault with our stay at Nigel’s place. Beautiful place in a beautiful location. We arrived around 2am as we had to travel from Essex after work, Nigel was very accommodating and understanding of our late arrival. Spotless apartment, nice shower and again, nothing we can fault. We’ll be sure to stay here again on our next Cornwall visit

The Old Vicarage St Columb Minor

GillianRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Us 9 from 7 to 70 had a really great holiday. Despite sometimes dodgy weather, we loved using the numerous house facilities. The sheltered from breeze, wellness area exceeded expectations, especially hot tub & sauna & was well maintained. Also much family football ! & basketball. The outdoor gym a good perk. Pizza oven good fun too. Indoors budding pianists explored their talents ! The conservatory was beautiful to relax & eat family meals in if we couldn't eat outside. Locally the walk to Porth beach for us was fine & walk to the island beautiful. We made use of the body boards & kids wetsuits at the house and all tried out paddle boarding at the Gannell ( again free because the house offered inflatable board ). So busy we only watched 1 film in the cinema / playroom, but it's a great asset to have, as was the annexe, a real little home. the lettuces growing if we wanted & just the huge space in & out. Unlike many places, upstairs was spacious & all fully carpeted, so very quiet.

As seen on TV luxury Lizard hideaway near coast

MatthewRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We can't recommend Lindsey and Kaye's place enough! Beautiful surroundings in peace and quiet, perfect for our dog to run around and enjoy the land. The hot tub was used every evening and was a real treat after a long day of walking, it was also tucked away and private which made it more relaxing and enjoyable (not all hot tubs in Airbnb's are!). The comfty bed, massive rain shower, stunning kitchen/lounge area were all incredible, but having the views, open space,, and all the little touches that Lindsey and Kaye have added are what make this stay special. Lindsey showed us around and was always on hand to chat and recommend things/give helpful advice, and Kaye was kind enough to show us how the pizza oven works and make sure we were okay! As I said, I can't recommend this place enough, especially if you have a dog (ours loved playing with their beautiful dog, Dodger). The pictures don't do it justice! Quick recommendations: Praa Sands, Porthcurno Beach & Minack Theatre - must see!

As seen on TV Lizard hideaway with fab sunsets

KerryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had the most relaxing and peaceful get away at this absolute gem of a find. Lindsey and Kaye are wonderful hosts and nothing was ever too much trouble, even going out of their way to print so thing off for us! The house is stunning and has everything you need and more. The little touches made our stay even more special, such a the glorious hamper with Easter gifts, home made goodies and the most incredible banana bread!! Each room was very spacious, clean and the beds and bedding were really comfy. The hot tub was huge and listening to the birds whilst watching the sunset is a core memory now locked in. The games room was another delight, especially meeting the resident cats and returning swallows to the barn. We had the most amazing time away and we felt very lucky to have shared this little piece of heaven. Thank you Lindsey and Kaye, we hope Dodger enjoys the little treats our dog Mac hid in the garden!

Nightingale House, Waterside House & Free Parking

AstridRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had an extremely memorable stay at Nightingale House. Our multi-generational family enjoyed this special place with all the superb amenities and premium location. The house itself is a very well designed, luxurious and a very nicely appointed home that allows for a group our size (7) to both interact with each other while also having some quiet time alone or in smaller groups. The outdoor spaces, on multiple levels with various seating options, afforded great views over the harbor and the ability to have some private time for each family member. We could not have had a better location in downtown Falmouth. It is within easy walking distance for many restaurants, shops and pubs while being discreetly off the busy main thoroughfare. Falmouth is also a superb location to enjoy the rest of Cornwall. Sandra's special touches for our arrival were a lovely treat after a long drive. Her communication was always responsive, prompt and personal. We look forward to returning in the future.
