Chalet holiday rentals in St. Johann im Pongau District

The chalet is very nicely furnished and in a fantastic location, the view of the opposite mountain slopes from the balconies is really fantastic. We were on site with 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 child and had plenty of room, also as far as the bathrooms are concerned. The hiking opportunities in Mühlbach and surroundings were still good in autumn and we enjoyed our daily excursions very much. It should be noted that the equipment in terms of consumables such as toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwasher tablets, etc., is really only intended for the first need. Accordingly, you either have to bring the corresponding things yourself or prepare for an early shopping on site. A current note: during our stay, a construction site was built directly in front of the chalet on the slope. So if you like to sleep a little longer without the appropriate noise level, you should currently ask the landlord for the status of the construction site.

This was our second stay at Tatjana’s beautiful house and we loved it. Thank you. The location is picturesque and the house is fantastically equipped to ensure your alpine holiday, is wonderful. Had super great 5 days at the place. The house really offers EVERYTHING to feel immediately comfortable. Very nicely decorated, very clean and also the property manager on site was very friendly. The location is very good - all in all an absolute recommendation! Kind regards, Lukas

It’s hard to put in words what we experienced - it started with the views of the mountains, amazing cabin, clean, minimalistic yet with everything we needed and the high ceiling with burning fire in the wood stove will steal your heart.

Christoph and Marlene were very helpful and responsive for any questions we had. I was surprised to see that there was an option to provide breakfasts and other amenities. Overall I would highly recommend this stay for anyone who wants a peaceful experience, beautiful views, and helpful hosts.

Everything was wonderful, we were allowed to get into the apartment and check out later. Stephan was always available and very friendly!

Lovely home, in a quiet and beautiful place. The home was spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. The host and his son were extremely nice and charming and helped us with everything we needed and always with a smile. We had a perfect stay.

The place was just a few minutes from the slopes as well as the center of Bad Hofgastein. Two supermarkets and other convenience stores real close. The place was very comfortable and well equipped, would definitely come back

Charming and very authentic cottage, which has the most beautiful view of the valley. It has large and spacious rooms as well as a kitchen with plenty of space for everyone. In the living room you can light up in a small fireplace that not only is cozy, but also provides a very good heat. There is a small heating room for the ski boots in front of one of the bathrooms. In a small shed by the barn, there are sledges that children can use when skiing after a day of skiing, want to play in the snow. We were two families with 2 and 5 children/young people respectively. And there was plenty of room for everyone and good opportunities to hang our ski clothes to dry. Ingrid is very welcoming and helpful. And we ordered eggs and bread at her place, which every morning was hanging outside the door. Among other things, we also got help repairing our faulty snow chains. Great place with beautiful views, a minute or two away from the lift. If there is enough snow you can even ski down to the house.

Andrea and her husband's place is a beautiful old house equipped with every modern comfort. The house has everything you need, is cozy and gives a warm feeling. The beautiful stove/oven in the kitchen is easy to make with the wood made available for this purpose and provides a cozy warmth in the kitchen. The indoor sauna and relaxation area is a winner, after skiing is highly recommended. The bedrooms are furnished with beautiful painted closets and have a private bathroom. What stands out are the many works of art hanging on the walls, very nice to see. The museum village where the house is located is very peaceful and quiet and is about 8 minutes drive from Bad Gastein, we have always gone by car, but there is also a bus service. The contact with Andrea was pleasant. As far as we are concerned, this house is highly recommended

We had a fantastic holiday with Christian in the smaller of the two Onkl Xonna Chalets. We traveled with 8 months old baby and dog Christian made everything possible - from the perfect food to the chalet, to the massage and the door gate for our crawling world champion. Everything at the highest level, a fantastic view from the outdoor sauna and magnificent nature right outside the door. We will be back!!

Insanely great, very well equipped, beautifully and high-quality furnished, extremely thoughtful cabin with sauna, Sonos sound system, bathroom for each bedroom, 2 refrigerators and and and and!!!! We had a brilliant time and were always off the socks that there is just everything you can think of. Peter and Bettina also took super good care and the seminar taxi was also practical! Really brilliant concept and a lot of love for detail! I look forward to next time!

Our stay was simply fantastic – just as beautiful as in the pictures and in the description! There was really everything you need and we felt completely comfortable and cozy. The hot tub and sauna were absolute highlights and made our stay special. Everything is decorated with a lot of heart and love for detail. The house is very spacious – we all had enough space for privacy, but also great common areas for socializing. The location is perfect: a breathtaking view of the mountains and beautiful nature all around. Communication with our host was super easy, kind, and helpful. The cottage was easily accessible. Check-in and check-out are very straightforward. Unfortunately we had very bad weather, but when we entered the house it was nice and warm and very comfortable. That is why we enjoyed staying indoors and enjoyed our time there. Each room had its own bathroom with toilet, which is really great. Overall, we had a great stay. Absolutely recommended.

The place was really great. Super kid friendly and great location. There is another house between the house and the lake, but there is still direct access to the lake. It's also really great and great cooling in the summer. The owners are always available and available in the restaurant next door (this is also highly recommended!).
