Holiday rentals with lake access in Stresa

Beautiful comfortable and authentic house, beautifully renovated, where it is cool even in high heat. The view of the rooms is splendid. Géraldine is very welcoming. Stresa is a 10-minute walk away, a little more on the way back because the slope is steep but it's a pleasure to be able to do everything without a car. We had an excellent week and we will be back for sure!

The apartment is spacious, perfectly clean and you have everything you need and from the terrace you have a fantastic view of the lake and the three islands. The hosts are very nice, courteous and helpful. We would definitely come back.

The accommodation is in a very good location with a short walk to Lake Maggiore. Restaurants, bakery, various shopping and the Pallanza Piazza Gramsci bus stop are around the corner. By bus, you can reach the Verbania-Pallanza train station in 10-20 minutes (depending on traffic). House is very cozy, well maintained and well equipped. Alessandro is very helpful and responds to messages immediately.

Paola is a super host, she makes you feel right at home, including our 2yr old border collie. The lake view at the flat is the highlight of our stay. The little personal touch provided by Paola is the added bonus on top. The garden and the surrounding hikes and lake is absolutely amazing. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay in Fiorella’s home! Comfortable and cozy, matched the description. A very quick and easy walk to cafes and restaurants, as well as Lake Maggiore. Fiorella even provided a crib for our baby, which was so helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!

Charming apartment with a great large terrace overlooking the great Lago d'Orta. Quiet residential area with parking nearby, the swimming area was within walking distance, the water quality and the water temperature were very pleasant. The contact with Gabriella was very warm, all questions were answered promptly. Unfortunately, we were unable to meet in person. Since we are traveling with a dog, a dog-friendly vacation spot was very important to us. We were always received in a very friendly manner with the dog. Around the lake there are numerous excursion opportunities. The Valstrona with many hiking trails, rustic refreshments or drive up to the Mottarone and enjoy the great views all around. We definitely felt very comfortable at Lake Orta, as we prefer quiet places without mass tourism. A big thank you also to Silvia and Giulio, who guided us to the apartment and also helped us every step of the way.

We are delighted with our stay during the New Year's period, with the added bonus of fireworks all around the lake visible from the terraces of the house! Catalda is welcoming and hosted us very well. The house is impeccable and well arranged. Nothing is missing. Regarding walking distance: it doesn't even take 1 minute and we walked it easily with a toddler! In short, everything was great. Sophie & François

Papa Carlo and son Matteo are warm-hearted hosts who welcomed me warmly and were able to give good tips. Communication also went smoothly. The apartment is large, beautiful and 100% matches the photos. The highlight is the huge balcony with panoramic views over the lake. I had a great stay and can absolutely recommend booking!

Giuseppe and Maria's apartment has been very nicely renovated on the ground floor of their house. It is spacious, pleasant and well-equipped. The place is perfect for visiting San Catarina and the Borromean Islands thanks to the nearby ferry. We thank Giuseppe and Maria for their very friendly and caring welcome, and their helpful advice for organizing our visits. We highly recommend it.

The place is just like the pictures, beautiful and welcoming, the balcony is stunning big and comfortable with an amazing view of snow capped mountains with the lake. The linens were cozy, the toilet and shower stall were spotless, and in general it was clean and comfortable. There is parking on the property, and there is also a fridge and freezer and the possibility to cook which was great!

We had an amazing stay during the christmas/new year period. The house is stunning, a beautiful designed house with anything you need for your holiday. The house was clean, the view on the lake is gorgeous and the location was also perfect. Ispra is a cosy, small little italian village on the lago maggiore and we had trips to Milan and also to the mountains for some skiing. Overal a great stay at Judith’s place. She was also very helpful if you have any questions and she responds very quick I absolutely recommend her house to anyone willing to visit the beautiful Lago Thank you Judith!

We loved the place! Awesome scenery, beautiful house, quiet and great energy.

The welcome was very friendly and personal - and we will probably remember it forever ;) The apartment was furnished with a lot of love and attention to detail - nothing was really missing! The host always responded quickly to messages and was able to give good advice nearby. It must also be said that the immediately surrounding neighborhood is not very attractive - but if you are looking for an apartment to feel comfortable and to explore the surroundings from there, you will feel very comfortable here.

We were a group of 9 people and we had a lovely stay at this house by Lake Maggiore. The location is absolutely beautiful, with great views. The path to get there will have given us some chills but the garden is a real haven of peace, perfect for enjoying the calm and surrounding nature. Self check-in and self check-out will have given us a lot of flexibility, Stefano's instructions and his responsiveness were perfect. A big thank you for the warm welcome and all the small details in making our stay such a pleasant one.
