Tucked into the heart of Norway’s island beauty, this spot feels like it was crafted with a poet’s touch and an architect’s precision. It’s airy, flooded with light, modern yet cozy. The floor-to-ceiling windows frame the waterfront like a living canvas, inviting the Norwegian skaergaard right into your living room. The kitchen is sharp, practical—a true haven for anyone who values a well-prepped meal. And then there’s the jetty out front, where you can sit back, sip something strong, and lose yourself in the stillness of this place. Centrally located for a business traveler yet worlds away in spirit. If I could double the star rating, I would. Else, the host, is a gem—flexible, communicative, and downright pleasant. A lovely property with amazing sea view from the large lounge windows. The lounge is very spacious but at the same time very cosy and a lovely space to relax in. The kitchen is also very spacious and had everything that we needed. The whole property was perfectly clean and clutter free. The shops are just a short drive away, including takeaways if you don't feel like cooking. Also a lovely beach within walking distance.

Stayed here for 2 nights with a group of 5 to hike trolltunga. Comfortable stay for all of us having everything we needed. Place was in a great location for the hike. There are plenty of options for restaurants nearby in Odda. The view from the front porch was great to wake up to.

This was one of the most magical experiences we have ever had. The hike to the accomodation was amazing! The hut was very cosy and warm which with everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here as it was a beautiful and unique experience. Thank you so much for having us!

We had a great time in Ann-Kristin and Laila's cabin. They had made it incredibly cozy by decorating for Christmas with lights and Christmas trees. The cabin was also clean and prepared for our visit. The location is amazing and it was easy to find. The hosts were very easy to deal with and responded quickly. I can highly recommend this place.

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin! The place was very cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Communication with Roy was excellent, he responded quickly to all our questions. We especially loved the quiet surroundings and the beautiful view of the fjord - perfect for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax in nature!

We - 2 adults and 3 kids - lived in the house for one week. It was easy to find with g.maps and we had a very relaxed time even the weather was rainy sometimes. We enjoyed: the location and house itself to use the boat and the fire place in the house to use the washig mashine (and the dryer) the water quality of the lake and in the house and last but not least our very cool and nice hosts!

What a awesome spot! If i could i would give this house and the host 6 stars! Solveig literally thought of everything. So many nice places to sit and enjoy the breathtaking views. We enjoyed kayaking in the fjord with the kids, and also caught alot of large fish (cod) right in front of the house. The private beach was a paradise for the kids and they were busy all day catch small 🦀 and 🐟. long story short.. Perfect!

A very large modern furnished house with a humongous garden, a fantastic view and a Private beach access !!! We were even allowed to rent the kayaks and our toddler loved the small “children's kitchen” in the garden in our own house - we were even allowed to use even more toys! Really very generous and very child-friendly :) A very quiet spot with fresh air - ideal for relaxation! Everything was very professional and Anne was quick to respond to our questions:) Just incredibly beautiful there <3 Thank you !

Top accommodation with 100% referral A very nice house in an early location. Very good for relaxing and for activities. We were 2 adults and 3 children. Space is abundant and the house is very tastefully furnished. Fabulous view. Boat for fishing with its own jetty. One of the best houses we have had so far. Jorunn is a very nice and helpful person. Thank you from the whole family.
