The cottage is very quietly located on the outskirts of a village and ideal starting point for hiking in the surrounding area. You can hike directly into the mountains from the house. By car, many other interesting destinations in South Thuringia and North Franconia are also quickly accessible. Supermarket and butcher is in the village, discount stores and large supermarkets are a few minutes away by car. The house is a typical Thuringian forest house with small rooms and steep wooden stairs, freshly renovated and very well equipped. The largest room is a games room with lots of toys for the kids. The communication with the host works very well, Marcus responds very quickly and tries to meet any requests. We liked it here. If we are in the area once again we will book the place again.

Everything wonderful! Kitchen equipped with everything you would need. Everything nicely furnished. Bathroom with large shower. Pleasantly warm due to underfloor heating. We felt right at home. Communication with Thomas went smoothly. He was great to reach and very helpful. Top recommendation! I'd love to come back!

The place is really insanely beautiful, something very special and the view from the terrace into the village is really fantastic. The accommodation is actually even more beautiful in Natura than on the pictures :) Everything necessary is available on site, we were able to stay there with 16 people. It was all really very clean and we felt comfortable right away.

We had a very relaxing stay as a family with two small children. The apartment is pleasantly furnished and clean,the hosts very friendly and for our needs the location was good.

The apartment is very atmospheric with lots of candles, everything as described - but the floor plan takes some getting used to, because you have to go through the kitchen into the bathroom and through the large bedroom into the small one. If it is not used for a long time in winter, it will take many hours for it to be really warm. The fireplace helps in the living room, but it is relatively difficult to light because there is only hardwood (small chips and very large). Overall a very nice apartment!

Our stay was super good! You are right in the old town, and the apartment is well equipped! It's also good that earplugs are provided. Special highlights are the location and the big bathroom.

Sebastian, the host, was incredibly friendly, kind, and always willing to help. The house itself was fully equipped with everything we needed, especially in the kitchen - it had all the utensils, appliances, and essentials to make us feel at home. The attention to detail and the comfort of the space truly exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back!
