I really enjoyed my stay at the Oriental Heritage. I deliberately chose this area, as I wanted to be away from the craziness of central Bangkok and close to the river, Chinatown, and the arts district. The room was very clean and very quiet. The price was very reasonable , though I must say that I found the room listed for nearly €100 less than what I paid on AirBnB…be sure to check other booking sites. Hotel staff (I never communicated with Pisith directly) were very friendly and responsive to whatever I needed. Please note that the neighborhood does not much in the way of public transport BTS and MRT), but it is very walkable and of course you can always find taxis and tuk-tuks. I plan to stay again the next time I visit.

I’ve been to Bangkok a couple of times before and this time I wanted to stay more in a local area. This was a beautiful little hidden spot and stayed there for 5 days. Perfect for someone who wants to get away from the bustling city area, wants to experience somewhere quiet and local. I mostly got around by walking and motor biking using the Grab app (similar to Uber/Lyft in the U.S.) it was risky since they don’t do helmets at all, you just hop on, you also realize they’re pros and been riding around for years. I had to go to my friend’s wedding and it was either a 40 minute car ride or a 15 min motorbike ride. The traffic can be a pain and the weather can get very hot and humid. Grateful for the AC they had in the room and the beautiful artwork that filled the different rooms. One of my favorite things was their baskets every day. It was super thoughtful and can’t count the amount of times it saved my stomach.

Great experience except there was construction work n the morning

After the place we originally booked for our stay in Chiang Rai was falsely advertised, we had to find last minute accommodations. This was a blessing in disguise as Chayadol Resort was a wonderful place to stay. They had the room prepared within minutes of us booking and once we arrived we were greeted enthusiastically by their very friendly staff. The daily breakfast was very convenient and appreciated. Throughout our stay every staff member we encountered was exceedingly friendly and accommodating. We don’t have kids but this seems like a very family friendly place as well if you’re traveling with little ones

Great stay! Beautiful place and surrounding area! Very private, listing exactly as described! I really enjoyed the concept of the ecolodge and what they were accomplishing! Cafe downstairs was very nice to sit at in the morning! I cannot say enough good things about this listing. The staff and host were very kind and helpful, would definitely recommend this listing if you’re staying in koh phangan! My biggest regret is not purchasing their locally made body wash that they were kind enough to provide with the listing, if able definitely purchase some!

It was fantastic! There's a 7/11 just down the block, super convenient and only about a 5-minute walk from the local vendors. I would definitely recommend checking it out!

We had a great time staying at Todd and Pumpim's accomodation. It was very easy to communicate with Todd. The staff at Arcadia were very friendly. We will definitely stay there again if we come to Bangkok again.

The room was lovely and as described. Air conditioning worked well and we appreciated the fan in the room.

No bathtub as described. Otherwise very good.

I recommend this establishment Very pleasant by its location that allows us to do anything by foot Restaurants and shops at the foot of the room I wanted to particularly thank the ladies welcoming us who were extremely kind Looking forward to staying there again

Returning customer for long stays 89 nights, very friendly guests, nice appartment lift to first floor fully equiped kitchen all inclusive supplies, near to makro and big c, must have car or motorbike to go in the city or take grab.

A short walk from BTS, manageable distance. Slot in the access card to powers up the room, lots of wall sockets available. Managed to store 1 big, 1 small luggage and 1 bag, still have some walking space left. Bed is not the soft type, pillows are thin, not to my personal preference, but all is well for the stay. Got good quiet quality sleeps. A small room with a big clean bathroom, a bottle of shampoo provided. Note that there’s no hairdryer provided in the shower, and there’s only 2 clothes hangers. Staffs are super helpful and friendly, noticed a broken shower head but was immediately replaced. Staffs greeted us daily when we went out. There’s an attached cafe downstairs with nice beverages choices, entire environment is cozy and warm. It’s a 6-floored building with no lift, my room was on the 4th, so moving big luggages up and down the narrow stairs was a hassle. Overall a very nice stay.

I had a great stay, and would not hesitate to recommend or stay again. The property is exactly as described / in the photos, with modern facilities (very powerful shower etc) and very clean. Walking street is a short walk away, whilst being far away enough to be very quiet and peaceful. I was also working while staying and the internet is fast and reliable. Great hosts as well! Very helpful from check-in and throughout my stay. Always responsive, and gave me some great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. I hope to be back soon!
