Holiday rentals with an accessible-height bed in Tokyo

We stayed six nights at the Port House. Accommodations: we had a cozy twin beds room for two. The bathroom is small as expected. Maybe a little tight if you’re above average size. Beds and linen were comfortable. There was a desk, hair dryer, small open closet with hangers. Think minimalist so pack light. Amenities: there is a small kitchen and common area on the third floor for filtered water, make your own coffee/tea or cook/reheat. It has two small tables and a small balcony. You can pick up extra amenities such as: toothbrush, soap, shampoo, razor, shower cap & other small items. There is a common sitting area with bathroom on the first floor. Location: in a quiet neighborhood, about five minute walk to the subway and one stop to Shinjuku station. There is an elevator to subway if you have large luggage. Downstairs and next door is the coin-op laundry facilities, surrounding area has a few restaurants, convenience stores, & fast food chains. Thank you Hide and Nari for hosting!

Such a great little gem to stay at in Shinjuku. There were an endless amount of things to do around the area and the train/bus stations were only minutes from the place. We had a few rainy days so we appreciated the umbrellas downstairs that could be used for guests.

My family loved our stay in this Asakusa apartment and it was sad to leave! We loved the opportunity to live like a local and enjoy Japanese kitchen, bathroom and living. The Tatami mats with futon mattress were comfortable and cosy for sleeping. The location quiet and walking distance to both Ueno and Asakusa main areas. We even walked from Ueno station with our luggage. There is a gorgeous Tokyo park on the street that my 9 year old enjoyed. Kombini close by, and we used Inaricho, Iriya and Ueno stations. It was great to have space of an apartment to spread out and relax after a busy day and to wash clothes! Thank you for the wonderful memories!

We were only our last night and we would have loved to stay longer. In the morning at check out time it was snowing and he had no problem in us staying a little longer. He even offered us to stay in his facilities, something that is very much appreciated. They also have a place to leave your luggage if your flight is at night as in our case. We were able to spend our last hours in Tokyo free of luggage thanks to that. Highly recommended

Had a great stay at this location with a small group of friends for a few days. Kentaro was very communicative and provided very clear instructions/information regarding the check-in process and amenities. Kentaro was also able to accommodate an early check-in as our flight arrived very early in the morning. Overall, it was a great stay in a nice, quiet location and we all felt at home. Will keep this in mind for future visits.

Great stay between Euno and Asakusa, while being super quiet and private at nights. We stayed with our toddler in separate rooms, apartment felt roomy and practical.

Great very quick and thorough responses, room was great and traditional tatami bedrooms, one bedroom with raised tatami platform and second bedroom floor tatami you can setup and with a futon. Has everything you need from kitchen to bathroom. Extra of everything provided. You feel like it’s your home away from home! Would definitely book again in the future if available!

This place has the best location. A quiet small house with a cute courtyard, just minutes away from one of the busiest intersections in the world. It is close to restaurants, coffee shops, Yogogi park, shops you name it. The house itself is small but great, has everything you need. Cleanness is the area they need to improve.

The location relative to the train station is excellent. Many small but excellent restaurants close. The apartment is rustic but has everything needed for a great stay. Shower A+. Washer (after figuring out the Japanese instructions) functioned flawlessly. Sohei was extremely responsive to the one issue I needed fixed. A great value.

I had an amazing time. The location was perfect and conveniently located near a station and was very easy to get to. The house was very lovely. Host and co-host were very helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend staying here.

Our family of 8 had a wonderful stay at Hanamame Inn! The host is welcoming and accommodating to our needs. The lodging is very clean and has space enough for our luggages. So many konbini stores and restaurants near the inn. Neighborhood around the inn is quiet so please make sure you respect and maintain this during your stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will surely come back again!

The room was clean and equipped with everything you need, so it was a very comfortable place to stay.

I stayed at Chisaki's airbnb with 16 other people for a school trip. While the main living room and kitchen is a tight for 17, we appreciated the size of the rooms and the number of bathrooms. The showers are a little smaller and there are only three, but we managed to make it work. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the heating/air conditioner units in each room. I also appreciated having a full length mirror and vanity in the upstairs room. Overall, the airbnb is really nice. There is some wear and tear and you can tell that some of the furniture is a bit older, but the price for a place that fits a large group is entirely reasonable. The only major downside during our stay was the nighttime construction that happened right outside of our windows.

Great place if you're travelling with more than two people. The building can be a bit noisy as you can hear other guests through thin walls, but otherwise a good option. The building is also convenient for transportation.
