Chalet holiday rentals in Torquay

We had a lovely stay at Alan' place despite the rain, it was great to have access to the swimming pool at these times! It was very peaceful at the chalet but not too much of a walk to the club house or the beach so I'd recommend this to both families or couples.

Lovely few days. Alan responded quickly. We were able to go in early which was great. Lots to do for a 5 year old. Friendly staff. It was cool weather but the heaters warmed the chalet quickly.

All my family loved the experience we were overwhelmed by the beautiful sea views we simply enjoyed every moment of our holiday breathtaking views combined with very friendly and safe environment gives us really special and comfortable time to spend with our two toddlers age 4 and 6 , we will definitely recommend Maggie’s place to everyone who is looking for unforgettable views my son already missing the place 🙂 , we will definitely come back in future

Such a beautiful place to stay and Sheldon is a lovely village. The beach hut is really cute and well provided for given the small space. It was a bit chilly when we first arrived but the under floor heating soon kicked in. We had everything we needed and so convenient. Only negative was the back of the tv needed a bit of a dust!!! Oh and the seagulls are quite intimidating!!! Could have stayed all week x

Easy check-in. Chalet had everything you’d need for your stay. Richard provided detailed instructions including a reminder for taking £1 coins for the electricity metre. Electric heaters provided to warm you up if needed. Clean property with clear instructions on what to do with towels & bedding at the end of your stay. Sainsbury’s just around the corner with beautiful Dartmouth a short trip down the road. Beautiful countryside & Norton Park was very peaceful.

Absolutely stunning lodge, very spacious with lovely views of the ocean. Very comfortable and homely feel. Hot tub was private and very clean. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back. Thank you Lorraine

A spacious and clean 2 storey holiday home we’ll equipped for all your needs. You walk in to the kitchen that has a small kitchen table as well as fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave and all cutlery and crockery. In to the sitting room/dinner there is a good size dinning table with 6 chairs as well as 2 comfy sofas and an arm chair, tv and DVD player. Upstairs there are 3 good size rooms that between them can comfortably accommodate 6 people. Bathroom and loo are well appointed and up to date with good shower over bath. Great communication with Renee and all in all a great place to stay whether you are staying in the local area or using it as a base to travel further in to Devon.

I have to say! I have to say this was one of the best stays I have ever had within a holiday Park! If the amazing views and tranquility wasn’t enough! The welcome and homely feel from all park staff was top notch!! The van was extremely well equipped! All you could ask for! Extremely clean and comfy! You had all the basics and more!! The pool was extremely clean, safe and well maintained! Would happily stay again!

Subject: Fantastic Family Getaway at Chalet 56! We had a wonderful stay at Chalet 56 in Thomas Bovisand Park! The chalet was absolutely perfect for our little family of three. The location is brilliant, with easy access to the stunning Bovisand Beach. We spent hours exploring the coastline and our son especially loved playing in the sand. The park itself is peaceful and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The chalet itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It had everything we needed for a self-catering stay, including a functional kitchen and comfortable living space. We particularly appreciated the lovely sea views from the living room window . It truly felt like a home away from home. Communication with the host was excellent. They were prompt, friendly, and provided all the necessary information. Overall, we had a fantastic and memorable holiday at Chalet 56. It's a great option for families looking for a relaxing seaside break in a beautiful location.

Thé area is stunning. Very peaceful, with the sea so near, three minutes walk. Beautiful view of the sea and surroundings. The way down to the centre is so wonderful. You might see seals on the way. Brixham is a gem and this place is a gem. Normally with Air B&B we have linen and towels. We did not have towels, which was disappointing. You have to pay to get them. Also, it would be nice to have some soap for bathroom and for the kitchen for washing up( even if it is not much just to start with). It was great to have tea, milk and sugar at our arrival. We had an issue with the sofa bed which we reported and straight away, it was asked to look into. They did try to solve the problem but the bed was still not that comfortable. This did not spoil our holiday. We had a fantastic time at this park and WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND it. Linda, Warren and Christina were very helpful. Thank you. The food was excellent at their cafe/restaurant. No win at bingo this time, there is hope.

What a fabulous stay we had! The most stunning view over the sea and the very best chalet we have stayed in, top quality:big comfortable beds, soft fluffy towels in abundance, great crockery and glassware and such a well designed layout of the rooms. Why doesn’t every chalet have a kitchen window and sitting room overlooking the sea! We’ve stayed in many of the properties in Bovisand over the years but this was by far the best! We bumped into Mike in the village and such a charming, friendly host. I cannot recommend this stay too highly. Thank you Mike!
