The pool, perfectly cared for, is the real heart of the house: spending the days on the bathtub with a splendid view of the sea has been restorative. The view is breathtaking, with the sea stretching over the horizon, offering incredible shows especially at sunset. At night, the starry sky was the icing on the cake. The lack of light pollution has made it possible to admire once celestial times punctuated by stars, creating a magical and romantic atmosphere. In short, this villa is perfect for those looking for an elegant and relaxing retreat, where the sea, nature and peace meet in perfect balance. I can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed Gaspare's place very much. It's a nice, quiet place to relax in Sicily. We especially enjoyed the magnificent pool - ideal for children and adults. Palermo and Cefalu can be reached quickly by car (and train, if you like). Gaspare is a great support.

A stunning property, very much deserving of its 5-star reviews. We could not have felt more at home, with every amenity thoughtfully provided by the owners. The villa is furnished to a high standard, is well locked after and spotlessly clean and the outside space..WOW! Erika, the property manager is lovely, very knowledgeable and helpful, going out of her way on a Sunday to fix a small issue with the internet which we were most grateful for. We would highly recommend this property. Due to the rural location, you will definitely need a car as there is nothing within walking distance. The restaurant recommended to us which was a short walk away appears to have closed down, unclear if this is permanent or seasonal (we visited mid-September).

We had a wonderful time here and cannot wait to come back! The hosts are just the best and amazing. We would 100% recommend this villa!!! The pool, the garden, take it all in! The host also sent us recommendations as we wanted to check out locations that locals would recommend. The host even went step further in securing us a ride into town when we needed it as we could not secure a taxi at the last minute. This level of helpfulness is really thoughtful and we could not have appreciated it more!!!! Thank you so so much!!! We already miss the villa!

Great place and owners!

My daughter and I had a brilliant week in this gorgeous place. The host, Emanuele, and his parents couldn't have been more helpful, with suggestions of places to go, details about the house and prompt and helpful answers to queries. The parents met us on arrival with stunning snacks, huge smiles and a wealth of information, all conveyed without a common language... with a bit of help from Google Translate!! The house is just lovely, very well appointed, and the garden and pool just heavenly! We didn't travel far afield as the pool and beach provided all we needed, including That's Amore, a delightful restaurant on the beach. We were there out of season so it was very quiet which suited us! But we did also sample the more touristy side of life in beautiful Cefalù just 15 minutes drive away (or easily accessible by train). There are sites to see, beach front bars, cafés and restaurants, gift shops etc and a climb up La Rocca overlooking the town is well worth it. We will be back!

Spacious vila with great outdoor space and good privacy. We stayed with our family with young kids and besides the pool there was plenty of entertainment for them. We loved the involvement of host Rosario. Very involved during our visit and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks Rosario for our nice holiday stay at your vila as well as for the nice treats.

We had a great time. Andrea and his wife are very charming and very welcoming. Always attentive. The accommodation and its surroundings are very nice, comfortable and fresh. We did not test the pool as we prefer the sea which is walkable in 2 minutes! I recommend this very quiet little corner!!!

Thank you Angelo for a wonderful week in your beautiful home in Palermo. Lovely spacious sitting room and kitchen, high ceilings and lovely outdoor space. Comfortable beds (it makes all the difference!) and a calm, quiet environment to enjoy. The apartment has a brilliantly equipped kitchen and a whole host of welcome goodies in the fridge. I would highly recommend.

Rosalia homestay was such a beautiful property with a brilliant host. Couldn’t recommend enough. The views are incredible. Not far from cinisi and Terrasini both great little towns to have a look around. Brilliant beaches and viewpoints just a walk away from the property. Thanks for a great stay Mara :)

Wonderful vista, stunning sunsets, really comfortable beds, and Vincenzo was an absolute delight.

Perfect stay! The accommodation is amazing, and the views from the pool are unreal. Paola and Angelo are very welcoming and friendly. We will certainly miss the morning sweet treats that were left for us! The apartment is walking distance to Mondello bay where there are lots of bars and restaurants. We had a hire car and there was space to park this at the property. Our only complaint - that we didn’t stay longer!

Tastefully furnished townhouse in a well-kept complex between mountain and sea. It is about a 20-minute walk to the natural beach, to San Vito Lo Capo and to Zingaro a few minutes by car - it is probably a bit difficult without it. Large pool with fantastic views. We spent a wonderful week there at the end of October, only a few small things like a cutting board or a sharp knife would have been nice. Thank you, Pietro!

I had an extended 6 night stay here. Lovely location nestled in between other homes and hotels. Very quiet location, aside from the occasional dog bark and groans on the Hotel Kalura tennis court. The pool is lovely for a dip, and the gardens are well kept. It’s quite newly planted so will no doubt grow into a more lush oasis. The Kalura beach isn’t far, some very steep steps leading down to it but it’s worth the thigh burn. Beautiful sunrise and still warm sea in the mornings in September. Also the bed is incredibly comfortable!

It was a pleasure to stay at Alessandra’s house! It felt very authentic. Alessandra was always very reachable and helped us out with her suggestions and tips. Recommend!

Villa was great although the location of the villa could be better. But if you have rented a car or have your own (as we did) then it is not so problematic. Villa was clean, all looked basically the same as in the pictures. The keyholder Carmen was very supportive and helpful. Her English was not so good, but the communication was manageable. For example she helped to find transportation to the local restaurants.

This place is such a gem. There really are no words to describe the views and the apartment, on the grounds of a 17th century monastery. The air was filled with the scent of orange blossoms from the citrus grove and it must be the off season because we seemed to be the only guests on site for the three nights we stayed. We spent hours in the armchairs in the dining room in front of the double doors leading out to the terrace overlooking the ocean, and spent every minute it wasn’t raining out on the terrace enjoying the views of Cefalù, only a 10 minute drive away. Even the rain is beautiful in Sicily. Kitchen is completely stocked with everything you may need. Francesco was super helpful and kind and quick to respond to every question. We hope this will be the first Airbnb we return to, when the weather is warmer in the summer.

Already in advance, Agostino answered questions in record time and even a small change of appointment was not an issue. On site, Rita and Pino took care of us. We will fondly remember the fresh salad from the garden. The apartment itself is as described and seen in the photos, also the magnificent view from the terrace, where we could enjoy the morning sun. Not unimportant in November, when the nights are already a little cooler in Sicily: The apartment was well heated. And when Pino showed me that the heating is operated with crushed olive pits and almond shells, I was thrilled with this CO2-neutral heating. In short: We had a wonderful vacation at Villa Settefrati.

We had an amazing 5 day stay at Margaretas place. House offers very peacefull vacation with pool, jacuzzi and even sauna and great charcoal grill. House is very nicely furnished and has several ac units. Only one bedroom doesn’t have ac, so it gets hot with the doors closed. Many shops and restaurants in the village near the house. 10 minute drive to the beach! I would definately come back!

Mirella is a great host, very helpful and easily accessible, physically and by phone. No problem with the house, it is large, in a very secluded location and at the same time great for trips to the gypsy area, Palermo and drills. Highly recommended.
