Cabin holiday rentals in Tromsø Municipality

The cabins are beautifully located right on the sea front, the island is stunning and its so so quiet, it is impossible to describe how peaceful it feels, I absolutely loved the fresh snow each morning like a blank canvas to start each day. We used the hot tub 2 nights and had the northern lights dancing overhead due to the amazing location which is ultimately what we went for. The cabin was warm, well equipped, clean and well kept, the beds were comfortable, and everyone slept well. The cabin was plenty big enough for 6 adults. Maria was super responsive and even popped round when we couldn’t get the hob to work which she fixed, she was also very helpful with where to go walking on the island and lent us spikes for our shoes. The shop is well stocked and we managed to get most things we needed for the weekend we stayed. The only limitations are the ferry’s to and from the island and the bus service to the ferry terminal but that adds to the quiet and isolation in this amazing place

Just wow! We loved the house, the location, sauna and hot tub! It’s beautiful and peaceful. Hans is a very nice host, helped and explained everything. We had the best time and hopefully come back one day. :)

The four of us stayed with Jenny and Johan for a week. The place was wonderful and we had a very nice time!!! Especially the view of the fjord, the surroundings and incredible northern lights have to be lifted out. The jacuzzi on the terrace was the icing on the cake. In particular, we would like to thank you for the information on how to get there. The street was closed by avalanches and Jenny/Johan gave us tips and information for the bypass. Just great. Thank you!

Ronny’s place is beautiful, very neat and clean. It is one of the best stocked Airbnbs we’ve stayed in, and we’ve stayed in lots (and I’m also a Superhost!). Ronny was very responsive and answered kindly. Thanks again!

Everything super! For skiing the real mountains of lyngen - there is no better place! Wood fired Sauna and hot tube, what can ask more!

Great place. Only feedback would be for an osthovel for cheese. Everything else was fantastic and will stay there again

We were very happy at Bente's place. Bente was there to greet us when we arrived (at the time of our choosing after the check-in time), and explained everything. There was also a really good book explaining things but we then only needed to use that as a reference as Bente had already explained it all. Bente has also been very easy to communicate with electronically - very responsive and proactive. The cabin has a very private setting on a beautiful shoreline, and has plenty of windows to let in the light and lovely views (exactly as per the pictures on Airbnb). The cabin was very well kitted out - it had everything needed; for example, the kitchen was really great. We were also very grateful for the use of the snowshoes, and the children loved the sledges and Bente pointed out a great hill beside the house to use these on. We'd definitely hope to return if / when we return to the area.

The airbnb is a great place. It is publicly accessible by a ferry from Hansnes. The views are great for the sea and the mountains. We were lucky to see the northern lights right outside the airbnb! Hilde was very responsive about my queries. She was proactive in letting me know about the weather in advance and also notified us about potential time for seeing the Northern lights. if you're looking tor a cozy Airbnb, publicly accessible and great location, this is it! Wonderful cabin with an incredible view of the fjord. Bright and comfortable, with lots of common spaces useful for our needs. It was the perfect base for our ski mountaineering week in Lyngen. Also, the gem is the outdoor hot tub where you can relax under the stars at the end of the day. Maria and Andreas have always been available and very friendly, welcoming us even in the middle of the night due to a delay in our flight. Highly recommended!

The cabin was perfect to calm down and to watch the northern lights. It has really everthing you need (besides Wifi, but wasn‘t necessary for us) and it was so cozy. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definetely come back! Svein is a perfect host! He provided lot of information and was really helpful (we had some issues with getting a rental car in Tromsø). Couldn‘t have been better! Thank you so much for hosting us 🥰

Very nice place. Close to nature. We were lucky enough to observe a fishing eagle from the cabin in the morning and the northern lights in the evening. We will come back without hesitation if the opportunity arises. A big thank you to you May-Tordis for hosting us in your cabin.

Loved the cottage. Took a bit to crack the code on water, toilet, sauna etc.. It is important to read the instructions to be prepared 😇 The house and surrounding are lovely. Used it as a base to do ski touring and cross-country skiing in and around Tromsö. Stayed with 4 adults. Would definitely recommend and come again.

We are so blessed to have made Kjetil's cabin our "home base" for our vacation in Senja! His place is perfect - 1.central location to explore the top attractions which are all not too far away 2.Beautiful, homely, interesting cabin with a zillion dollar view 3. Great host ! The BEST Extremely highly recommended ! Only one problem though ----- you find it hard to say goodbye!

Beautiful cosy cabin which was spacious, and had a view flanked by the mountains and the sea. Camilla and Thomas were very proactive in offering us directions and instructions. The cabin was well equipped. We were also greeted with the Aurora all around us all the nights that we were there. Wonderful place; would recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mariann’s cabin! It was incredibly cozy and had everything we needed. The view is breathtaking, and we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right from the terrace, an unforgettable experience! Mariann was very responsive and shared plenty of great tips to help us make the most of the beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended!

A great little cottage with a great location for skiing and getting around the mountains. The sun deck is great to sit in the sun after a day of outdoor activities

Dear Amadeus and Family, we had an amazing time on your beautiful farm. The place is truly beautiful. You lent us snow shoes so we were able to hike some snowy mountains, see reindeer and moose and even the northern lights. Tromsø isn't too far away so we were able to visit some pretty and impressive places like the polar museum or the beautiful cathedral. We really enjoyed our stay especially due to your and your family's kindness. Whether we had a question, were in need of firewood or snowed in on our way to the airport at six in the morning, you were always kind and helpful. You even gifted us some of your farm's eggs, some champagne or soda, just because. Thank you very much! We can really recommend this airbnb. It's surroundings are beautiful and you reach it easily. You can park direktly on the farm. The hut is well equipped and it lacks nothing. There was a snowstorm going on and we were still very warm and cozy. Check in and out were easy. The hosts are very kind. 10/10

We had a wonderful time at Maria’s house. Everything was clean and the house was really beautiful. The location was great to explore the area! The communication with her was also very easy and she was very friendly my Highly recommend staying at this incredible place!

We felt right at home and absolutely nothing was missing to have a nice time in the cabin. Svein and Siv are very warm hosts who make you feel welcome. We would have liked to have stayed longer!
