Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Ulster County

We absolutely loved our stay at The Gables! It was a classic bed and breakfast experience and we would recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Rhinebeck. The Inn keepers- Pamela and John were so friendly and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed a nice evening playing cards in the common area before heading out on the town (all walking distance) for dinner and drinks. We can't wait for our next visit!

What a hidden gem in the beautiful Hudson Valley wine country- I almost want to keep it a secret so it doesn’t become too popular! Everything about our trip was great from initial outreach and questions with Victor about booking, to day of check in, and all of the tips and hospitality from Victor the owner and all staff, especially Angelo. We lucked out with good weather for most of the trip as well. We sampled an array of amazing wines at Benmarl and also participated in the Fineries at the Wineries event and was able to hop around and try other wineries as well, and then end our night with a fire in the fireplace and a few glasses of wine back in the b&b. Victor prepared an amazing cheese plate and pizza Saturday night as well - highly recommend to try the food on the weekends. We would definitely come back whether for a day trip or to stay over in the b&b again.

My only regret is that it only stayed one night. Great place, gracious host and unbeatable location.

From start to finish, we so enjoyed the Gables Inn. It is quaint and cozy with impeccable furnishings, a comfortable bed and lovely room, great coffee and pastry for breakfast and an excellent location in Rhinebeck.

Tim was a very kind, easygoing, and communicative host. The home had a ton of character and the outside spaces were so beautiful--lots of little animals running around and beautiful foliage! Loved the chill vibe of the place, the views, and the activities around the space like badminton. Definitely plan to go back!

Wonderful stay at Carol’s historic home. I loved the vintage furniture and decor. Clean, comfortable, and cozy. A great retreat after skiing and delicious breakfast. Everyone was so friendly :)

The bed and breakfast was just what we were looking for while booking a romantic weekend getaway... it did not disappoint! Waking up to homemade breakfast, amazing location for winter mountain fun and some really incredible restaurants just a few minutes away! We are already plotting our return.

This is a great place to be around nature and history. If your museum buff then the history will be right up your alley and if you like a good walk or run then the Vanderbilt area will satisfy that, too.

We chose the right spot for our stay over in Hyde Park! Easy hosts, Valarie, Eric and Buddy the dog all happy to see us. Room clean, bed good, breakfast very yummy. Best plus was the dinner restaurant recommendation, Bia in Rhinebeck.

We couldn’t have loved our stay more. Every single detail was absolutely perfect. The house was beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast was so delicious. Valerie and Eric were so hospitable and friendly. And Buddy was the sweetest dog ever! Valerie and Eric had great recommendations for dinners and also places to explore in the area. The location was ideal and we already are planning our next trip back. Couldn’t imagine a more perfect bed and breakfast. We only wish our stay was longer. Can’t wait to visit again and can’t recommend The Journey Inn strongly enough!

We love going to The Journey Inn. Val and Eric are wonderful hosts and the accommodations are fantastic. The morning breakfasts are another highlight! If you are reading this review, please do yourself a favor and book!

Great place to stay for a weekend of skiing at Belleayre. Only 6 min to resort. The B&B was cozy and Heidi and Randy were so kind and attentive. The breakfast was so thoughtfully laid out each morning and nutritious, just what we needed to fuel the day. Parking is street only, but very easy. Room was also cozy. Highly recommend!

This place was even cuter in person. I loved it. Very cozy, clean, nicely decorated. It’s part of a beautiful little inn and cottages with a peaceful vibe, walking distance from a nice place to swim. I can’t wait to come back.

Doris and John are such wonderful hosts, really enjoyed my stay. Bed is very comfortable and breakfast was amazing!

Valerie and Eric and all the folks at the Journey Inn run a gem in Hyde Park. They cook a breakfast worthy of being nearby the Culinary Institute of America, are wonderful with recommendations and are truly just kind and welcoming people. If you are looking at Hyde Park or even just anywhere in Hudson Valley, I couldn’t recommend this spot enough.

We were so happy to be back at Joe and Barb’s. Their hospitality is wonderful - from recommendations to bonfires to impeccable breakfasts. Already planning our next stay!

Loved staying in this beautiful home!! It’s so cozy and well-decorated, such a perfect peaceful getaway from the city for my partner and I. The hosts were very friendly and responsive and the home and property were gorgeous. We really enjoyed our time here and are looking forward to visiting again soon!
