Cabin holiday rentals in Upper Cataract Falls

Beautiful home. Easy to get to Nashville and B-Town. 5/5. Only slight complaint was we couldn’t figure out how to get the hot tub going. We just used it without bubbles. We look forward to staying there again.

Very nice cabin back in the woods. Very private. Owners were super nice and always responded to messages. Highly recommended!

Thank you for a wonderful and peaceful getaway. Your home was comfortable, private, and easy to be comfortable in. We saw a bald eagle and a heron and enjoyed the woods and stars at night. We would love to come back!

Angela and her husband were wonderful hosts. The place is cozy and it makes you feel like you’re right at home. Very spacious cabin, comfortable beds, and clean bathrooms. Hot tub works perfectly well (was a highlight for a fun snowy evening) They keep the cabin stocked with games and even left us a bottle of olive oil, as well as fans just in case it got hot. The surrounding area of Nashville is a short 10 minute drive away(full of walkable areas, shops, coffee shops, breweries, and restaurants), not to mention a short 15 minute drive to Brown County State Park which further adds value to this place. Stellar overall, 6/5 stars:)

My friends and I had a lovely stay. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable with great bedding and pillows. We made breakfast and the kitchen was well stocked for this. The home is clean. The area is very pretty and peaceful.

The property is very private, yet close to groceries and less than an hour drive to downtown Indianapolis. Great size property to roam, walk to the water, swing on the swing, sit outside (when the weather allows...). multiple sitting areas in and outside the house. adequate sized kitchen, just missing a dishwasher for ultimate luxury. just be aware of the noise atmosphere, the ceilings/floors are very thin, so every step is audible. we traveled with a one and a two year old so we were very aware of the noise levels. also, the downstairs is not really two separate bedrooms. as the listing describes it is open floor bedrooms, so there are no doors between the two areas. But, all in all, it was perfect for our family get away with three different households. we enjoyed the hot tub, the recliner couches, the swing, the location itself and also the nice decorations and thought through furniture!! well used space inside and out.

We loved our Galentine’s weekend at Melissa’s! She was so helpful leading up to our stay as well as super responsive if we needed to ask anything while we were there. We woke up on Sunday morning to A LOT of (unexpected) snow and her husband came right away to plow the driveway and check the roads for us. We had a wonderful experience from beginning to end!

This was a beautiful place to stay ! Ashley had it well cleaned , lots to do and recommendations for dinner and breakfast ! Will be back and highly recommend

My family really enjoyed staying at the Pioneer Cabin. Jenny was very easy to communicate with and the location was beautiful and secluded. Deck was awesome for eating or having coffee outdoors and enjoying the fall leaves.

Spent a IU football weekend here while visiting our daughter on campus. Quaint cabin in the woods that met all our needs. Chris’s instructions were very thorough. Only about 14 minutes from campus too. Great hiking in Hoosier national forest that was minutes away. Would be a wonderful place to stay also if you were doing a lake weekend over the summer.

What a weekend we had! First, this has been one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Perfect size for the two of us. Starr was super informative and provided very detailed, easy to follow information. Now, the things beyond her control: we had a strong thunderstorm move through which knocked out the power for just a little while. Since we were staying in winter, the heat was off for a bit. Once Starr was made aware she offered alternate heating solutions, although it sorted out due to power coming back on! But she was very concerned for us - which was nice. Then, it snowed & I thought we may get snowed in. But the roads were plowed timely. I took a walk down Tower Ridge Rd (been there many times), and it was beautiful with the snow. The cabin is lovely and comfy. No matter the season, you would find a great place to stay! Looking forward to returning! Easy close to town! The drive is beautiful getting there too! Thank you Starr for everything!

This place was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a place that was private, peaceful, and beautiful. The indoor fireplace really set a relaxing tone, and the house itself was pristine. The extra amenities like the Keurig and board games made the stay even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

Terra was a great hostess. She was responsive and helpful and so friendly! The cabin was spacious and we had a great family vacation. If we have reason to be in the area again I’d return!

I was in town with my daughter and best friend for the eras tour. We wanted to book outside of the city so we could come back to quiet and have a relaxing place to just enjoy our weekend getaway. Curt’s place was the perfect spot for this.

Great cabin as described. Fire pit with fresh supply of wood was appreciated. Easy access and if we had forgotten anything Jean and it available.

This little place is amazing! Just the perfect fit for what we needed. Megan was super clear on all the instructions, from finding our way through the subdivision to helping us understand how the heating unit works best. The amenities were great, though we didn't need to use any of the kitchen items that were so thoughtfully made available. Everything from the fresh linens to the super comfy beds were just perfect. The location is set in a lovely and picturesque spot, right on the edge of a peaceful park area (Winslow Woods Park), and it's a sight to behold in the morning as you greet the day. It's just close enough to plenty of things to see and do, but still maintains its sense of retreat. (There's a chance we'll need to visit Bloomington again over the next few years, as our oldest is considering Indiana University next year, and if this is where he lands for college, we will be booking Megan's place, if it's available, any time that we need to visit in the future.)

This is our third stay at Scout Cabin on Pleasant Farm. There is plenty to do (nature center, fun local restaurants, National Historic Register spots, covered bridges and especially the tranquility of the front porch and lookout observation tower nearby). Didn’t make it to the maze or viaduct near Bloomfield - next trip! Thank you for a lovely, serene stay!

Place is small but perfect for 2 people and an absolute beautiful view. Very responsive host. Will stay again

Bill’s place was amazing. It was super cozy and we couldn’t ask for more. The location was great and it was not hard to find. The kitchen was amazing, the bedrooms were super comfy, the living room was spacious and relaxing, and the deck and grill were great to have. Bill was a great host-we had a couple things to figure out and he was immediately responsive and very helpful. Thank you for the hospitality Captain!

An Amazing Oasis -- close to Bloomington but feels as if you're in another world. So charming!!!

The cabin looks just like the pictures! Clean and comfortable; my guests enjoyed their stay. Brad was very helpful with anything we contacted him about.

A lovely, homey cabin on a beautiful property! While we didn't get to fully enjoy the pond because of the chilly weather, we appreciated the view. The entire property was clean and well taken care of. We felt very safe, which was important for three ladies traveling alone. Mike was easy to reach out to for help when we had a mishap with the fireplace. A very welcoming host who goes above and beyond with Midwestern hospitality. You will not be disappointed!

They were sweet from the time we started communicating until the end. We were traveling so she gave us the opportunity to check in an hour earlier for free. Kids loved all the activities in close proximity. State park with beach and restaurant few miles away. Close to local town with stores. We enjoyed our stay we will be back!
