Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Vacoas-Phoenix

Our stay at La Balise Marina L’Estuaire, Black River, Mauritius, was absolutely wonderful. Sandrine was an exceptional host, providing fantastic communication from booking through to our stay, ensuring everything was seamless. Paola took excellent care of our family, keeping the accommodation spotlessly clean and always being available to answer any questions. Both Sandrine and Paola were outstanding, making us feel welcome and well cared for. The apartment was spacious, modern, and equipped with every utensil needed for a self-catering holiday, ensuring a comfortable and satisfying stay. I highly recommend hiring a car, as we did, to explore the island. The apartment conveniently includes a car parking space, and the large Super U supermarket nearby offers a wide range of food and essentials. Our experience was incredibly enjoyable, and we are grateful to Sandrine and Paola for making it so memorable. Highly recommended!

Jérôme was very responsive, quick to respond to questions. The space is new and of good quality. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower and ample storage areas. The pool is beautiful. The gentleman at the reception Zephire is really welcoming and was really kind, he helped us a lot with traffic.

The apartment is ideally located – right by the pool and close to the beach. If you want to enjoy both the beach and the pool, this is the perfect choice.

Juergen and Ursula were hugely flexible and welcoming hosts. Their home is beautifully decorated and we felt at home right away. We enjoyed the large porch and garden. Here we had breakfast and enjoyed following the turtles' activities. The house is in a quiet place but at the same time walking distance to the supermarket and the beach. Their home is highly recommendable!

Roy and his wife are very, very nice people! It has been a pleasure learning from them about life on Mauritius. The apartment was bigger than expected, in a very good location near an amazing beach. The WiFi was just good enough for video calls and mostly stable. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Beautiful apartment, stylishly and comfortably furnished with block out curtains for late risers. Lovely pool and beautiful view from the deck. Fred was extremely responsive and helpful . All in all ten out of ten !

Wonderful apartment in wonderful location

I had a very pleasant stay in Dominique's apartment, where I particularly enjoyed the two beautiful gardens, the master bedroom offering great comfort, modernity in general, decor, location in the complex, just a few minutes from restaurants, grocery store, shop, tennis/paddleboarding and golf. Not to mention the proximity to the beach and the beautiful pool + fitness room. I felt quite safe and had a very good relationship with the very nice cleaner, who also prepared on-demand dishes. Dominique was attentive and proactive in the communication of information, very complete, and also offered other services if needed (activities and transport on the island).

Great place...very friendly hosts..a home away from home...very clean...bathrooms very upmarket and beautiful furnishings. Great views. The kitchen is very modern..Parking is secure and safe...lovely swimming pool with gym facilties. I will definitely recommend this place to anyome coming to Mauritius.

We spent a wonderful week at Appanah’s apartment in Azuri. Appanah fetched us from the airport and was very helpful assisting us with SIM cards and shopping. It was wonderful chatting to him en route and learning more about Mauritius and the area. A cyclone was forecast and he checked to see that we were safe and aware of the weather. The apartment is clean and well appointed and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. All in all a wonderful stay with a friendly and professional host. We would stay with him again in the future.

This is a very nice, very well run place. Clean and spacious. I have never encountered that m7ch supply of soups and shampoos and garbage bags...and even a table full of welcome treats. Very caring host. Everything went smooth and easy.

He organized extraordinary activities, welcomed us with incredible warmth, and gave us invaluable advice. Thanks to him, we were able to rent a carefree car and enjoy the island to the fullest. The villa is a real paradise on earth, sublime and perfectly maintained. A big thank you to Yogita for her delicious little dishes and for taking care of the house with so much dedication. This stay exceeded all of our expectations and will forever be etched in our hearts. We will be back without hesitation and recommend this place to anyone looking for a dream stay! Sophie's place is exactly as advertised and described. The small touches when we arrived were very much appreciated. Wifi works great. The kitchen equipment is complete. The somewhat secluded situation suited us because it was more quiet. The private pool is a real plus for a bath in late evening. What a positive thing so we stayed too short for a week. We will most certainly come back. I recommend this house and its guests.

A peaceful oasis in Mauritius. These 3 days allowed us to disconnect. Great place. Need a car to access it but it's worth it!! We will definitely go back to. Thanks to Stéphanie and Célia for your kindness!

This is a fantastic place. Everything we hoped it would be. The gates to the grounds have security. It’s very private, secure and peaceful. The place is better than the photos. Management is first class, we hade Fiona looking after us, which made the stay very relaxing, knowing support if needed is on hand. Fatima came in 3 x week to make sure the place was clean and tidy, which resembled hotel service. This is a very well run place to ensure your holiday goes the way you want it. The location is brilliant with access to Grand Baie for restaurants and beautiful scenery as well as Choisy Beach which is our favourite beach. Plenty of supermarkets around to get essentials and food, as well as shopping malls. We can’t rate this place enough.
