Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Vecht

We had an amazing two-month stay at this lovely place! The neighborhood is fantastic for families, especially if you enjoy peaceful walks, greenery, and animals. Very close to the house, there are multiple playgrounds, which was perfect for us. Plus, public transportation makes it easy to reach nearby towns (highly recommend to visit: Edam). The hosts were exceptional—always responsive, incredibly thoughtful, and provided us with tons of local insights. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The house itself is great! It’s spacious with beautiful natural light, a big garden, and even a sauna for extra relaxation. We couldn’t have been happier with this arrangement and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay.

The place is highly recommended for a quiet few days! It's very clean, tidy and absolutely quiet. We were also picked up from the nearby parking lot and escorted to the property. The two are really very kind and helpful. The small fireplace is an absolute highlight for fresher evenings. Overall, we were more than satisfied! ☺️

A lovely home with everything you need for a cozy getaway and a break from the daily rush. The sauna under the stars and the indoor fireplace are real highlights. Big thanks to the host for the great care!

Me and my mother had a wonderful time here. Very cozy stay. Beautiful spaces inside and outside. Nice 2 separate bedrooms where we also slept very well. Nice walks in the area. We will definitely come back. Jolien.

Remco is an incredible host, always there when you need him. The accommodation is very well placed geographically, as shown in the photos, and very quiet. It has all amenities. We would have stayed longer. I can only highly recommend staying with Remco!

Our stay was even better than we had hoped! It is an incredibly cozy and nice cottage in a beautiful location. Everything we needed was present. In short, had a very nice stay and definitely recommended :)

The first thing I have to say is Sophie and Pieter are clearly lovely people. We were late because of traffic but Sophie waited for us and gave a warm and very helpful welcome. Secondly, the apartment is a real home from home. The kitchen has all the equipment you need if you want to dine at home. Throughout the apartment everything was clean and functional as well as being well designed and attractive. Thirdly, the location is excellent. The tram runs regularly on the Overtoom and gets you right into the centre in 20 easy minutes. On the other side is the Vondelpark, which is a slice of real Amsterdam that many people would miss, which is a shame as it’s fantastic. The bar run by the brewery was a real find for us. Around you are a number of excellent places to eat and drink on both sides of the park and into the centre. Finally I am going to return to Sophie and Pieter - honestly you could not get better hosts. Thank you very much - we intend to return.

One of the best stays I’ve had so far! Luba was a superb host. The apartment is even more gorgeous in person and it was a privilege to stay in such a wonderful place. We felt right at home and Luba made sure we knew how everything worked. She also provided a comprehensive list of places to eat and things to do that did not disappoint. The three of us stayed here before a sports event. It was all as described. Well furnished, well maintained, clean. We were very pleased!

The accommodation offered was very well maintained, clean, quiet, the bed linen was of very high quality and the bed very comfortable. Lekkerkerk is a beautiful and very charming village. Michiel was very good advice and recommended a very good restaurant in the village (de nar) as well as a great route to go by boat (waterbus) to Rotterdam and Dordrecht.

We were very satisfied with our stay at Nanda’s place. Nanda and her husband have created an incredibly beautiful and welcoming home in Utrecht. Staying in their house truly feels like being at home. One of the highlights was their amazing collection of vinyl records, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation – everything was perfect. The location offers excellent access to the city center, and the communication with Nanda was seamless and friendly. It was an outstanding experience overall!

Spacious apartment, close to the city center. Parking is available free of charge in front of the door until 12 noon, then with a parking ticket. Shopping within walking distance. Gelredome in 20 minutes by car.

i really enjoyed my stay at margot’s place, it was within walking distance of zaandam station so i could easily get to amsterdam centraal, and it was a quiet area. a warm, cosy place to stay in winter! margot was extremely helpful and communicated everything that i needed, couldn’t recommend this place more!!

Great, cozy place to stay in if you want something close to Amsterdam, but nice and quiet. Great to be on the water, supermarket/shops in a nice picturesque town 5 mins from the house and you’ll drive into Amsterdam in 10 mins. Host super responsive and smooth and flexible checkin and checkout. Recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Violet with five families for two nights. The place was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, making it perfect for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
