Leonora's house boat is wonderful! It's an artistic, clean, super-equipped, and comfortable home. You feel at home...even better! But two things distinguish it: a spectacular location on the canal and an amount of good taste ( in the choice of construction materials and decor) difficult to find elsewhere!! There are also two bikes to discover the surroundings and a grill. The village is adorable , it feels like living inside nature. Leonora has other homes , one more beautiful than the other, all to discover! Congratulations on your great professionalism!

We had a lovely time on the houseboat. Amid the birds, it's very well laid out. The road is not far but you can't hear it inside and the view of Kampen is very pretty. It's easy to walk to town. We did not meet Raoul but the organization of the arrival and departure was very smooth. We recommend it.

Great houseboat, very spacious and has all you need, easy to catch the train into central Amsterdam in 15 minutes, nice to then be out of the busy areas and back to the peaceful boathouse, highly recommend

Marie Louise was very responsive and helpful. She met us to take our bags so we could continue to the city and enjoy a full day. Told us a great area in Amsterdam and we found an amazing fresh market with lots of food and clothing. Everything fresh. The house was just as pictured. It states it is across the river and it was. It was a 2 mile walk from the train station. Very easy walk. We did it multiple times. You can u er if you want. She was very nice and responsive and even helped us figure out the washing machine lol. I definitely would stay again. Plenty of room and utensils. We did not eat in town but looked like it had some great places. Beautiful views and very peaceful. Thanks for letting us stay at your home.

A unique experience to stay on a houseboat. We had everything we needed in the studio. Clear instructions inside. Coffee, tea and sugar provide. Loved watching the traffic on the Rhine! Very welcoming and responsive host. Would definitely stay again!

Friendly place, warm accommodation. The swans, the ducks on the pond around the cottage were appreciated by the whole family. I recommend it.

Easy to find. Host speaks only Dutch, but has prepared well with a translation app. The location is very quiet and you can walk to the bus to Amsterdam

- [ ] This was truly the perfect place for our Amsterdam visit! The houseboat is serene, spacious, and cozy—we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Our party of three adults had plenty of space for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is lovely, with charming bars and coffee shops, yet still so close to all the main sights. The canal is peaceful at night, which made for incredibly restful sleep. Fern is an outstanding host—welcoming, gracious, and always quick to respond. We’d book again in a heartbeat and can’t recommend this houseboat enough!

If you are looking to stay on the river in a quiet neighbourhood - on a house boat - it doesn't get better than this. I loved waking up, peering out onto the water. Each morning the rowers are out, people running along the riverbank - it's incredibly peaceful yet full of life. This is a real boat, not a floating house so you have to navigate different levels inside, getting on and off the boat etc. All part of the charm. Martin is a fabulous host. Note: this is the old school airbnb of old - its Martin's home, beautifully appointed, spacious and generously kitted out - with the comfort of a 'lived in' feel. The upper deck is just delightful, full of light and windows and you can sit with your coffee and watch the river-world go by. The area is surrounded by park, but just nearby is a lovely high-street with shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and deli's. Trams will take directly into the centre of Amsterdam - everything you need - highly recommended!

Our stay at Claire’s place was nothing short of magical. The location is hard to beat in the heart of Jordaan, steps away from great Dutch cafes, every restaurant we ate at was within a ten minute walk, every one was fantastic. As well as minutes walk from transit. Somehow though being in the middle of everything, being on the water in this houseboat makes you feel like you’re in your own private oasis. Claire has great taste, her home is designed impeccably, with one of the major highlights being the record player, listening to classics like the Beatles, Bowie, The Doors while sitting on the back porch taking in the incredible view of the canal. Bonus was the most efficient washer dryer I used during my 3 week stay in Europe and the large dishwasher. Had we stayed longer, we would have cooked, there was a fully stocked Chefs kitchen. Thanks for the perfect end to our adventure!

Amazing and cosy place to stay at especially after a long day as it has it's own sauna and jacuzzi. The surroundings were unique in it's own rights which contributed to the amazing experience. The host was super helpful and regularly checked in with us to see if everything went smoothly and if we needed anything.

We returned for a second long stay and it is still wonderful! Great location just far enough out of Centrum to be missing all the tourists but still close enough to easily get in there every day. Liz is a terrific communicator and it is super easy to get in and out. The house boat is very comfortable and well maintained. I hope to return next year!

Great area, very close to the Airport and 20 mins from Amsterdam. Great place for a retreat, the boat house experience was amazing and the hospitality was great. Highly recommended.

This boat was such a treat, beautifully presented, spacious, gorgeous views amongst other boats, easy walking around central Amsterdam. The facilities within the boat were top notch, stylish upstairs living space, extremely comfortable beds, lovely bathroom (with the bonus of an upstairs toilet too). If we were there in warmer weather we would have spent more time just hanging out on the deck. Heartily recommend.

What a wonderful place in a quiet part of town! Short walk to the AH and lovely watching the boats go along the water. Very nice hosts, would gladly stay again!

We had a fantastic stay on this charming houseboat! Everything was exactly as described and pictured—clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The host provided clear and detailed instructions for parking and finding the boat, which made our arrival super easy. One of the highlights for our kids was feeding the ducks right from the deck—they loved it! A truly unique and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Annemiek and her husband were great hosts, very flexible and welcoming. Being able to use the boat and stroll the canals, especially to Leiden was a truly unique experience. Annemiek's place is ideal for an exotic and original stay in Holland, with lots of activities nearby, including tulip fields.

We spent two very relaxing days on the houseboat. Our son was also thrilled. Particularly noteworthy are the additional canoe and rowboat with which you can explore the area. Rob is an immensely friendly and helpful person who takes you on the houseboat to a quiet mooring and picks you up there at the end.

Francisco’s houseboat was outstanding. We loved everything about it - it’s spacious, tasteful and comfortable with all the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed having a glass of rosé and bbq on the deck as the sun went down - heaven. And Aalsmeer is a stunning location - don’t me miss the Garden Museum and cafe for a lovely lunch. Sad to leave
