Cottage holiday rentals in Versilia

Unique, authentic and clean! We were looking for a place where to stay in the mountains and still have the Italian authentic small vila - and we found it. It was rainy when we stayed, but it didn’t changed our plans and the vibe as the villa itself has the coziness that fits any weather. Highly recommended place to stay if you want to feel the unique and authentic vibe.

We had a fantastic stay in the cottage for nine nights. Villa Alta is in a beautiful location and the grounds around the house are so well maintained. We enjoyed both the shared pool and our own private terrace with hot tub. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and perfect for our needs. It was a perfect base for us to explore the area. Raffaella was so friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the villa on a couple of occasions. We would highly recommend a stay here.

You can feel how much love and care they’ve poured into every detail. It’s one of the most spectacular places we’ve ever stayed in! Not only is the house and the garden magical, but it’s also so practical and thoughtfully equipped, providing everything you could think of to make your stay comfortable. The gym was fantastic, and the house had plenty of space for two families. Even with 2 adults and 4 “monkeys” (our energetic kids), there was room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and celebrating New Year’s Eve with fireworks lighting up the entire region was an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Sara and Brian, for sharing your incredible home with us. We can’t wait to return!!!

La Chicca Blu is a true gem, offering everything you need for a serene and relaxing getaway. The garden and pool enjoy plenty of sunlight throughout the day, while the trees and awning provide perfect shaded spots when needed. Marzia, the host, is warm and welcoming, ensuring a comfortable stay while respecting your privacy. She is attentive but unobtrusive, allowing you to feel as if you're in your own private summer retreat. This is the ideal place for a peaceful escape in a beautiful setting.

We really enjoyed our holiday at cas nel bosco, the house is very quiet and close to nature. We liked that very much. The pool and the garden offer total relaxation. We already miss everything very much. In the valley it was often 32 degrees in the first week and upstairs in the house it was very pleasant. The pool was super refreshing. The house has everything you need and the small village of Medicina is very charming. The access road is narrow and very winding, but we also saw some wildlife. Communication with Francesca and Paola was straightforward and enquiries were answered immediately. Thank you very much, we had a great holiday.

The host is great and beyond accommodating. The garden and pool area are a dream, much more beautiful and better in real life than in the pictures. You can highly recommend this place. The small village is super cute with good gastronomy.

We had a wonderful vacation. Very quiet and undisturbed location without neighbors surrounded by nature. A cabin that offers everything and is practical and tastefully furnished and equipped. One day we emigrated from the house, otherwise always by car: supermarket that leaves nothing to be desired 10 min, beach with sand and public 25 min, Pisa and Genoa about 1.5 hours with parking, hiking in the Apuan Alps about 1 hour. Natural beach 35 min.

We stayed at the place for 5 nights and it was great. It was as described, very clean, quiet, close to the stand and good restaurants within walking distance. The communication with Elisa was straightforward and check-in and check-out with her dad very likeable!

Very nice place where you really feel at home. Fantastic secluded location, right on the mountain with perfect views. In the middle of the nature, you can unwind completely. The cottage was very spacious, sparkling clean and very cozy. It had a very nice bathroom and kitchen, everything was super nicely finished. The only point of improvement is to invest in a slightly more comfortable sofa, so if it's cold, you can sit inside. Despite that, everything was 10/10, thank you Fabio for your warm welcome and nice/fast communication!

It was a very nice week in Tuscany despite the rather rainy weather. The house is wonderful, large, warm, with all the amenities. There is also a wonderful yard with a barbecue, which we did not get to enjoy much, but the fault is only the weather. But our parking place was very convenient. There is complete peace and quiet, it is very relaxing. The location is great - very close to the A11, in 1 hour you can get to Florence, 30-40 minutes to Pisa, 15-20 minutes to Lucca. And to countless other Tuscan beauties. Thank you to Graziella and Marco for the beautiful home, the wonderful welcome and the care they took for us!

The place is really pleasant and recommended in every way. The decor was neat and clean, functional and sufficient for everyday needs. The kitchen is well-equipped and allows the preparation of food as well as enjoying the same at the large wooden table, which has the base of an antique sewing machine as the base - that's cool and quite creative. All windows have mosquito screens. At night it was actually 100% quiet outside, which is very rare to experience. The surroundings are amazing and it is both a pleasure and a certain challenge to drive the steep and winding road to the neighborhood. We saw numerous small animals in the grounds such as lizards, salamanders, mantis, and more, suggesting a healthy ecosystem and intact nature. There are nice mountain villages in the surrounding area, many good restaurants and various shopping opportunities. It is absolutely worth booking this place.

We had a great family stay with our two children aged 7 and 11 in this charming little house located in the heart of a charming medieval village. The locals are incredibly nice and welcoming. The house is perfectly equipped with all the necessities, including an espresso coffee maker and a SodaStream, little extras that make the difference! Laura was very responsive and attentive before our arrival, and Stefania, her mom, welcomed us warmly on site. It's the perfect place to disconnect: no wifi or network, perfect for relaxing as a family. Beautiful walks and visits are to be done nearby, and for lovers of the sea, it is only 50 minutes away. A perfect place to unwind away from the daily hustle and bustle!

Staying at the cottage is always a pleasure for us, the days by the beach are a treat and we travel home refreshed. We don't miss anything here.

Beautifully restored and very cozy chestnut dryer (metato) in the hills above Bagni-di-Lucca with ample opportunities for excursions on foot or by car (Lucca, the valley of the Lima, the Ponte Magdalena, ...). It's unfortunate that Bagni itself is some past glory. The terraces in front of and behind the house allow you to enjoy the peace and the view from breakfast until late in the evening. Roberta, who welcomes the guests in the absence of the owners, is an absolute added value for the owners of "il metatino". We have never experienced its unprecedented commitment to both the stay and the guests during our previous holidays in AirBnB accommodations.

The house itself is beautiful and in a beautiful quiet place. The barn is less suitable for sleeping. The pool was lovely and big enough, with plenty of beds. Small downsides: no blinds so very hot in the house. No air conditioning was known, but some more fans would be recommended. No soaps or shampoo in the bathrooms. The access road to the house is narrow so a challenge with oncoming vehicles. Already with a pleasant place.

We (4 adults, 2 kids) were there for 12 days during vacation. The journey was a bit tricky as we did not get up the access road with our big bus (Hyundai Staria) full load, Andrea and Barbara were so nice and drove up all our luggage, we will then get to the house by bus. The driveway needs a little practice, especially with larger cars. The house has the typical Italian rustic style and is larger than it looks on the photos. All bedrooms are air conditioned and spacious, the Wi-Fi is stable. The surroundings or views are a dream. There is everything you need to survive and feel comfortable. Barbara and Andrea have been there for us the whole time and have always been there for us. We have rarely had such warm hosts!!! Everything that grows there in fruit and vegetables we could pick and eat. The pool is nice and big, enough shade and an outdoor kitchen. We like to come back ❤️
