Sarah’s place was our home away from home. It was just perfect for 3 couples visiting Whangarei for a sporting event and Sarah couldn’t do enough to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Blown away by location and beautifully presented home, complete with all the bells and whisltes. Loved that we had access to plenty of beach toys, games and books. Did not need a thing. Felt right at home after travelling 800kms. Perfect size for a big whanau who love the beach. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning.

we had a family of 8 staying and the house suited us perfectly. Right on the beach with easy access to the boat ramp also the house had fish filleting area which was perfect. Great place to stay - worked perfectly for us. Gary

We stayed over NY with this as a base for some great adventures and lots of seafood. The property manager Peter was very flexible and helpful. Bev next door was also amazing and very hospitable. Would have no hesitation in staying again! Thanks for an awesome trip.

We had a great overnight stay at Bruce’s . It was just what we needed for a visit to see the big Kauri trees. Bruce as very friendly and helpful. We recommend his place to any travelers! Thank you, Bruce!

Lovely place nestled in the hills of Russell. Little drive into the main town but nice relaxed area. Place was spacious. There are a few other rooms but not really an issue. Views are great.

We really enjoyed our stay in beautiful Paihia. The location of our Airbnb could not have been better. We walked to amazing restaurants and enjoyed the beautiful view from our patio. Highly recommend

Great stay - easy checkin and lovely view

A lovely home with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Come for the home stay for the view! A spectacular vista, from the Whiria Pa, across the harbour to the golden sand dunes. Also, a great selection of books to while away the hours 🙂 We had the generous bonus of using the down stairs spa as there were no guests. perfect!

Unique location above the marina. It was great to spend time on the deck watching the comings and goings of all the boats. The place was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The Marina Cafe across the carpark had great meals that we ate there two nights in a row. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

For a winter break it really was perfect. Best spot ever. The best part....The people! Friendly, helpful. Kind. Every eatery was great. Op shop for fishing clothes too! Had great fishing with " Buckos" Dont miss it! Will return. Thankyou. BnM

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

Beautifully decorated! Comfortable beds, stunning views, immaculate gardens, friendly hosts, cute downtown with lots of shopping, restaurants, and scenic tours within walking distance - although I had to get a ride back up the hill 😉 🙄 … loved our stay here!!
