Julie was so friendly and communicative, she made us feel right at home. So did Archie and Stevey the dogs, who we loved! The villa was larger than I expected and was perfectly set up for us. The location is ideal, close to the waterfront, wineries and cafes, and not too far from Havelock North for more restaurants, cafes and shops. Would recommend and would definitely stay again 😊 Thank you Julie for having us

Wonderful stay! We enjoyed to beautiful country surroundings. It was very picturesque. The pool was warm and the kids got heaps of use out of it, especially being able to dash to the spa to warm up a little more if needed. The host was responsive and accommodating and gave us great recommendations for nice places to eat in Martinborough. Place is about a 10 minute drive from Martinborough but worth it for the beautiful & peaceful location. Taxi service was very accomodating too, getting us too and from the wineries. We will definitely be back! Was a weekend to remember!!!

The Good End of the Shed.

5 Stars are not enough. Anna and Ross went out of their way to make us feel at home. the swimming pool was a wonderful tonic and we really enjoyed our time at their wonderful homestead. The surrounding countryside is full of life - birds, sheep and cattle and the nighttime stargazing is excellent. They lent us bikes so we could enjoy the local countryside. a car is essential though to enjoy all that is on offer in the Wairarapa - vineyards, charming towns with good restaurants book shops and excellent butchers plus of course the big walks. We'll be back for sure.

This was our second time staying here, and we hope there will be a third! I stayed here with my bridesmaids to get ready for our big day, and the home had everything we needed for relaxing. The spa was excellent and we loved the gas fires too.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful property. We were immediately at home, enjoying the comfortable seating areas both inside and out. The massage chair is a revelation! The host was super helpful. There are the most beautiful views over to the sea and it was a lovely walk into the town. We would highly recommend this property.

Really enjoyed my stay at Saras! Great location, handy to everything and private and peaceful. Felt like a little retreat with the spa which was amazing on a clear night and very relaxing. Was beautifully presented and had everything I needed for a short stay - loved the easter treats and yummy breakfast provided. Nice touches which made all the difference and made me feel very welcome. Thanks for having me and look forward to staying again soon :)

What a great week we had at Nicky’s! The architectural home was really cool, and a perfect setup for our family. The real gem is the property - there is so much to do and explore! There’s a whole separate area down a small hill from the house that is a magical step into the lovely surroundings; so much local flora and fauna to discover! Great house with kids as there was no lack of screen-free entertainment. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Peaceful 4BR Getaway • Large Heated Pool

This is a large and well appointed house in the suburbs of Havelock North. Richard and Lucy have renovated the property to a very high standard and it is extremely clean, modern and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you might need with a good coffee machine and lots of pots and pans. We were particularly impressed with the spice drawer! The bedrooms are large and all have air con which came in useful on hotter nights. We enjoyed using the heated pool, which is fully gated, which was great to keep our toddler safe. The garden is also lovely and secluded. The outside deck gets a lot of sun in the day but when it dips behind the trees there is an outdoor fireplace and plenty of wood so you can still sit out. We enjoyed barbecuing into the evenings. Lucy and Richard live on site in a nearby building but we felt totally private and undisturbed. We would highly recommend this property for families visiting the Hawkes Bay.

Truly amazing!! We had such a special time here, overseas family came and it’s such a perfect place to spend together without feeling on top of each other. Wish we could have stayed for a few more days as it’s the best base for exploring.

This is a really gorgeous classic New Zealand villa. Spacious--both inside and outside--it's perfect for long-stays and families. It's also perfectly located, with the supermarket, restaurants, and cafes of Hastings all a very walkable distance.
