Villa holiday rentals in Wairarapa

La Rocque Cottage in Martinborough is a lovely villa hosted by Megan, who was very friendly and responsive. The house itself was a good size for three adults and a puppy, plus it was clean, comfortable, and easy to heat on a chilly day. The propery is also fully fenced, which was great for our puppy. We had a lovely weekend away and recommend La Rocque Cottage for your next weekend away in Martinborough!

Myself and my two besties had the most fabulous 3 night stay at this gorgeous cottage! Everything was perfect! Would definitely recommend! Plenty of restaurants and everything walkable! Petone rocks!

We stayed in Napier over the Labour weekend and booked this place last minute, but the host was incredibly accommodating and quick to reply, which made our travel planning so much easier. The house was spotless and felt very homelike—perfect for our group of three families and a dog. The location is also fantastic, with everything close by. We’re very grateful for the great experience and highly recommend this place to others!

Great location, handy to Botanic Gardens, local shops, central city and great access to motorway out of town and to airport. Drive on access with parking was very helpful. Sunny in the mornings and good heating when the weather turned cold. Kitchen very well supplied with everything that you need.

Amazing Amazing and Amazing! To wake up to this view was out of this world! Then having the awesome access to the beach. Everything you require is at the house….may be a little more expensive than some of the other Kapiti properties. But it is worth every penny! Thanks Julie and Kelly (the very helpful site Manager)

Craig and Kylie were excellent hosts, and their home was a wonderful place for our family of four to enjoy for a couple weeks. The location was peaceful yet everything we needed was within walking distance (grocery, cafes, library, park, beach, shops, and more). The beds and lounge areas were very comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. Our favorite part about the house was the giant sliding glass wall that opens up completely to the backyard!

Truly a beautiful home and the gardens are stunning. Ana’s home has absolutely everything you could want and so many lovely spaces inside and out to sit and soak in the sunshine. It is full of style but in a very relaxed and easy way that makes it so warm and inviting. Not only is the home gorgeous but Ana is the loveliest host and a wonderful communicator. The home instructions are perfect and very easy to follow. I would return again tomorrow if I could. Thank you so much to Ana and her family for having us! It felt like a second home for us and we were very sad to leave.

From a host perspective, Huong was very responsive, flexible and accommodating to our needs. We had a group of 10 staying at this location and it was unique and allowed us to stay together for a family wedding. In general, the place was as described. There were a handful of maintenance and cleaning items that could have been improved, but these did not distract from our stay at all. We had a large group and the garbage/recycling was a bit of a challenge without a vehicle the first few days, but we managed that too. The home is distinct and one of a kind, with rich history. The long drive was a great test for us and Uber drivers alike!! The grounds provide its own opportunity to explore and do some hiking and such. The views are incredible. I appreciate the opportunity to stay here. I understand the property remains for sale and look forward to see how this unfolds.

We had an amazing family holiday - we were there for 3 1/2 days and ended up spending 2 of them at the property playing tennis, in the pool, playing board games and chilling out. The massive kitchen (with 2 ovens), BBQ and the butlers pantry meant catering for a family of 10 foodies was super enjoyable. There's a 2nd fridge/freezer in the laundry for food overflow and drinks. So many nooks for people to take themselves off to, and loads of communal spaces big enough for all of us to congregate. It was perfect for what we wanted. Communication with the Taylors team was excellent. We'll definitely be back.

Such a great place to stay, perfect for our group. Lots of space, both as a large group but also breakout areas. Outdoors is stunning, great to wander around in the sun and fresh air, very quiet and peaceful - our dogs love it!! Well equipped throughout, kitchen had all the staples and plenty of serving ware for group meals, bedrooms were all fabulously set out, plenty of extra bedding and towels if needed. Lots of games to have fun with, plus the pool and tennis court. We had a blast, thank you for having us!!

Like Philippa stated when villa finishes renovation it definitely looks grand and posh. But still loved interiors tastefully decorated furniture and personal touches. All of us enjoyed something different than normal air b&b experience. Thanks
