My family and I stayed Monday to Friday, fabulous site, the lodge was perfect for us and the staff really helpful. Lovely stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean on arrival with plenty of fresh towels for both the hot tub and the shower. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The hot tub was checked twice daily, so felt assured the hot tub was clean and safe to use. James was responsive and helpful when messaged. There was a lovely walk nearby too. The space felt peaceful and private.

We’ve just come back from our three night stay at the lodge, and what a wonderful place it was. From the cleanliness, to feeling right at home. The lodge was beautiful inside and out - we certainly made use of the tub, and fully enjoyed the balcony with the wildlife around us everyday even the deers running across the field. The beds were super soft and comfy so we had a perfect nights sleep. Vicky was great checking in with us to make sure we got there and to make sure there wasn’t any issues - which there wasn’t. We would definitely come back again for the sheer beauty of the lodge and the perfect peaceful place. Thank you for being our host :)

We had a lovely time staying at Faweather Grange. We booked last minute for a great price. It was so cosy and peaceful. We brought our dog too who enjoyed the dog treats left for him, and had a lot of open space to play fetch. We will be back soon with our friends!-

Lovely stay at the lodge. Great location for the train into Harrogate and York. We were blessed with good weather so enjoyed alfresco drinks and a dip in the hot tub.

We had a fantastic time at Duncan’s place. The cabin has absolutely everything you need for a really relaxing stay. We would definitely come back again. Cosy, comfortable and the perfect spot to escape for a few days.

We were looking for somewhere to stay in walking distance from the centre of Marsden. A Place in the Pennines fitted the bill perfectly. Hannah has made use of every inch of the cabin to provide comfort and convenience. We only stayed for one night but would definitely return. We would recommend it to anyone who is looking for some peace and tranquility but with access to a great village and places of interest.

A long awaited break and worth every minute. Quiet, pet friendly, walks from the site available, so for a short break, plenty to do in the area without having to go far.

Idilc Getaway - Felt homely. Short walk (<15min) from Station and Centre of Marsden. Great Café across the canal. Not awfully secluded, lots of walkers passing by. While no balcony like others, made up for by big spacious windows. Space for Car Parking on site. Pre-made Fire and Flowers are lovely touches, besides very minor cleaning oversights that didn’t interfere, great place, sleeping 4 would be a squeeze for 1

Absolutely brilliant place to stay, lovely location and all details/instructions great and easy to follow. Couldn’t recommend more

Paul’s place is exactly as he advertises, a fun and comfortable man cave (though women are allowed too!). The pull-out bed was comfortable for my gf and me. The place was clean, the TV was big, the underfloor heating worked, and most importantly for us, we were able to bring our dog with us. Not many other places in Sheffield let you do that, so it was a perfect place for our stay.

Great peaceful escape. Close enough to York for a day out. But great if you just want to relax. Local pub a short walk away and dog friendly. James always responded quickly. BBQ was a great touch and so was hot tub

A fantastic lodge which provided much needed relaxation and escapism. We stayed as a family- 2 adults and 8 year old. We made use of the rowing boat and paddleboard owing to the fantastic weather. The steam railway is a short 10 minute walk to Damems station which we made use of and saved driving. The lodge is clean and has everything you need for a break. There are thermostats in every room meaning the lodge was never cold. Our son loved fishing from the decking/riverbank although he wasn’t lucky enough this time to catch anything. He loved walking up to the hen house to collect fresh eggs too. A great stay and would highly recommend

A perfect little escape. My boyfriend and I chose this place as a quiet birthday celebration and it was exactly what we wanted. A lovely break from the everyday! We will be returning in the future :)

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Curlew Lodge. It's set in a beautiful area, which is within close range of lots of lovely walks and short drives from local towns. The lodge is cosy, very well equipped and was spotlessly clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

We travelled by train to Hope. Little Croft was easy to find from the train station and a short walk from the centre of Hope village. The accommodation has everything you need for a short stay, is beautifully decorated and the view that you wake up to is gorgeous. Kate is a lovely host. Definitely recommend as a place to stay whilst exploring the Peak district :)

The cosiest cabin in the most beautiful woodland! Nicky was extremely helpful and it was lovely to put a face to the name yesterday when she came to say hi! Thank you for a lovely stay! P.S Hamish gave the warmest welcome too!

This place is exactly how it looks in the pictures. Opulent, indulgent, extravagant I could go on. Nigel is a great host- he was happy to leave us to it but also was super engaging for a good chat about the carriage, the local area and his plans going forward. A really good find, just gutted we couldn’t stay longer.

I booked the chalet for my boyfriend's birthday in the hope of having a quiet, relaxing weekend and it exceeded our expectations. The interior is stunning with a peaceful vibe and has everything that you could need. We even managed to cook a Sunday roast with all the cooking equipment provided! We loved the small details including the sound systems where we could constantly have music on throughout the Chalet. Jemma and Dan made it feel very homely and the fresh loaf of sour dough was a lovely touch. We would highly recommended a stay in this gorgeous place!

Katie and Guy are extremely friendly and helpful host. Property was exactly as described and as shown in the pictures. Green, quiet, calm and beautiful place to be at. Clean and tidy as it can be. Katie and Guy welcomed us with a big smile, with clear instructions about the house. Very useful local recommendations too. Location is just 30 minutes scenic drive from York city centre. I would highly recommend this property for those looking to explore York city and national parks.

We were very impressed with the accommodation. It was a lot more spacious than the photos suggested. We had a lovely time and found it very convenient to have the bus stop outside the door to get into York city centre. It was a 30min walk a to retail park in Huntington itself or a 6min drive. A good homely place for a winter break.
