Waterfront holiday rentals in Wānaka

Sherril's place was in an ideal location. It was a five minute walk to the lake, restaurants and the grocery store. The view of the lake from the kitchen/living room was spectacular! We liked that each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes and flatware. We made use of the washer and dryer in the unit. Sherril was very responsive to our questions. I highly recommend staying in Sherril's place.

This is a spectacular apartment. The first thing you notice is the floor to ceiling windows that look out at Lake Wanaka and the surrounding mountains. Gorgeous! The living area is so comfortable but you’ll want to spend most of your time on the covered deck that is comfortably furnished. Take particular notice of the floating bird nests on the lake, right in front of the apartment. These are for the Southern Crested Grebes, which are fascinating to watch. They have very unique courtship behaviors. What a bonus! The kitchen is fully equipped. There are many restaurants about a block away. We are hikers. I would highly suggest Diamond Lake and Rocky Mountain trail, about 20 minutes away. Get there early to get a parking space. We hope we can return to this apartment - it is special.

What a wonderful place! Peaceful, clean, and the perfect space for me and my friend. Walking distance to town and right across from the beautiful lake. We loved our stay!

We had a great stay! Beautiful views & nice location. The condo was pristine and very nicely decorated.

Even more beautiful than the pictures. The balcony is sublime and it’s a short walk to the downtown restaurants on a very pleasant boardwalk. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub on the complex property.

Perfectly positioned for an easy walk into town, amazing view and quiet. Place was clean and had lots of towels which I love. Very comfy beds and well stocked kitchen. We will be back!

We wish we had discovered this location years ago. It was perfect for our needs: close to a small but well-stocked supermarket, a small restaurant with great fish and chips, a delicious patisserie, and a very short, two-minute walk to the Clutha River trail and our grandchild. The apartment was very clean and neat, and just as described in the listing. The bed was very comfortable as well. Kirsty was polite, professional, and very responsive in all of our communications. If our children weren't planning to move, we would make this our winter home, due to the proximity to them and all the other amenities in Wanaka and Albert Town.

Outstanding place to stay!! Very family friendly, peaceful and safe!! House was very clean and tidy and Bronia was a superstar to communicate with. Great walks to do, lake to fish and swim in and close by to Cromwell for supermarket etc. Highly recommend, we will be back again!

Very reasonably priced and great location near Clutha river trail and short drive to Wanaka. Very tidy and includes everything you’d need.

This place is absolutely magical! The view from the front lawn is outstanding and the cottage is adorable and had everything we needed. It's a true gem and feels very much like a classic good old kiwi bach. We and our dog loved it and are planning to come back again.

We had a great time here. The house was comfortable and well appointed. The view from the deck is spectacular and ever changing. Walking, cycling and swimming opportunities metres from the house. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Incredible home on the edge of the lake, right by the Wanaka Tree. Easy walk into town. Ideal for friend groups or two families. Huge, brilliantly provisioned kitchen with a food pantry and a butler's pantry. All the amenities, including a spa and sauna. Beautiful gardens flowing into a spectacular public park and multiple hiking trails. Our group of 10 adults absolutely loved our stay. Heaps of room for everyone to chill and a great living room to get everyone together. Hard to beat!
