Family-friendly holiday rentals in Wermelskirchen

For our JGA we booked this place for one night. We were 13 people, room was more than enough for everyone. Rooms were all clean, there were plenty of towels for everyone. About the location: as already described in some reviews before me, the house is located in a residential area and is a semi-detached house. Therefore, it should also be noted that you cannot/should not make noise until the end of the day. We talked to the neighbors before and were still partying around 11:30 pm. Until then, no one complained about the volume and we were certainly not quiet on the road. The garden is nice and large, the hot tub well maintained. The house itself is also in good condition, the bathrooms in the rooms are "newly" renovated. Check in / check out went smoothly, the hosts are very nice. All in all we had a great time and with the house the perfect accommodation for the JGA, thank you.

My wife and I had a wonderful relaxing weekend. There are great opportunities for activities in the area. We will be happy to come back.

We stayed there one night and were satisfied. The night and the bed were comfortable. We were greeted in a friendly way and everything worked out so far. We did not use the wellness offer because personally the extra charge was too expensive for us and there was no time for it. Thanks again!

Jürgen was very helpful and very eager to give us a nice time. The property is great for groups and offers a lot. A lot of special features of the amenities make for a good stay.

Absolutely lovely apartment in a gorgeous location. Anja's family are lovely and made us feel very welcome. The apartment itself is at the top of a steep road - walkable, but it's a shock to the system the first time - and Overath is a pleasant journey by rail or bus to Cologne, Bonn and the rest of the local area. It's very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen is small but very well-appointed. We had a wonderful.time.

This apartment is perfect for a group. It’s spacious, clean and has everything you would need for a stay. It’s in a great location with lots of restaurants and bars as well as bakerys and supermarkets in the area, while also being a short walk from the city centre. Umut was an excellent host, he was very helpful and provided clear and comprehensive instructions ahead of check in. Would highly recommend

Super AirBnb if you are in Oberhausen. You can park on the side streets and don't have to worry. The bed was very cozy and you sleep on it very quickly and recovered.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this exceptional Airbnb home! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The warm welcome and the uncomplicated check-in and check-out immediately made us feel comfortable. The cleanliness was spotless, which was particularly important to us as allergy sufferers. We had no problems with dust or other allergens, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The wellness area was an absolute highlight! Sauna, steam sauna and hot tub offered pure relaxation and recreation. The gaming area with the big screen was a dream come true for every gamer and provided plenty of fun. The terrace area also invited you to linger and offered a nice way to unwind. Special praise is given to the dog friendliness of the accommodation. Our four-legged friend was spoiled with their own ball pool. It's great to see that the needs of pets are also thought of.

2nd stay at Gilla's, really perfect like the first time. I recommend it!

We were travelling back from Finland to the UK with our 2 dogs and needed somewhere to stay for our last night. Ideally we would be able to self cater and give our dogs a good long walk. After explaining the situation to Fridolin, he invited us to book. We arrived late afternoon, check in was easy and the annexe was just perfect for our needs😁It had a very homely feel and some very nice touches as well. Using the directions given, we gave our dogs a much needed long walk in the countryside right from the front door in the evening sunshine😎🐾🐾 With big name supermarkets nearby we were able to get our supplies for dinner and breakfast👍🏻 We slept like logs on a super comfy bed, the house is in a dead end road so was very peaceful. After another long walk, we left feeling like we had found a little gem and wishing we could have stayed another night. We would not hesitate to stay again should we be passing by and happily recommend to others.

Iordanis' place was excellent in all respects - it was spacious, well kitted out, warm (as we visited in December) and homely. Access to ample parking was very useful too as we had two cars with us. Iordanis was a very responsive host and was accessible whenever we needed him. The Christmas tree with the lighting was a nice touch as well!

Like the last visit, we enjoyed it very, very much! Super nice hosts, a very nice, lovingly equipped apartment. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio in the warm spring sun. Our dog Max also felt very comfortable, right in front of the door, the forest invites you to excursions. We will be back! Best regards from the Baltic Sea, Monika, Michael & Max.

There were two of us in the accommodation for our Cologne weekend. The place was exactly as described and lovingly prepared for our arrival. You can see that Pea has a lot of experience in dealing with her guests and she was always very quick and friendly in communication. Even though the location is not quite central, we were able to reach the city center relaxed by public transport. We were very satisfied and can definitely recommend the place :-)

It was quite easy to find, the host was very kind and met us around 20:30. The place itself was spotless clean and had everything that was listed. Additionally, the kitchen, bathroom and sauna were pristine cleaned. The glass in the bathroom was so clean for a moment we thought that were was no glass. Sauna was excellent and we even started a nice little fire one day. Very peaceful with allot of opportunity for hiking and nature. And very easy connection to Dusseldorf via the train with free parking at the train station in the small town. Would go back again without a doubt.

Great stay! Adrian was incredibly responsive and made sure everything went smoothly. Communication was excellent, and he was always quick to help with any questions. Highly recommend!

Great accommodation, close to the train station and very central to discover Cologne. The lovely lady from the reception was very warm, and we could have reached out at any time if something was missing in the apartment. In the evening it was a bit scary for us when we had to pass 2 people in the dark at the bottleneck of the construction site, who "smoked something" on the ground... (we are village children). With a mobile phone flashlight and as a group, it was then easily survived. Thank you so much for this great weekend!

From our point of view, 5 stars. Umut was very friendly all the time and answered questions very quickly. The apartment was clean, generously sized, and fully equipped. The situation is quiet and very pleasant. Larger cities can be reached quickly. If we are around again we would book the apartment again. We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

Everythinng worked fine for a two - month stay.. Fully equipped both in kitchen and furniture - wise. Nice and safe neighbourhood. Elena was easy to get hold of .

We spent a week in Wilfried’s apartment, which was perfect for remote working. The fully equipped kitchen contains everything you need to prepare your own meals, but there are also restaurants within walking distance. The terrace was ideally positioned for soaking up the sun and the pool was definitely a highlight of the trip. Highly recommended.

Great host and a very nice place conveniently located. Great communications and clarity. Overall we were very happy with our stay.
