The tiny home was exactly as advertised. Lory was very informative and helpful. The location was PERFECT for all of the local attractions and activities. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

The cabin was as advertised. A cozy experience that was well located for visiting state and national parks. Jonathon was proactive and messaged concerning the hot tub and it was taken care of fairly and quickly We had a great time and would recommend staying here.

My boyfriend and I loved staying at Laura's Rustic Memories cabin. It's a perfect cozy getaway for two looking for peace, seclusion and beautiful surrounding. We loved sitting in the hot tub and looking up at the stairs and hiking nearby Swallow Falls. Laura was a great host -- communicates and made sure we were okay to get home on snowy roads. I recommended four-wheel or all wheel drive if coming in the winter and an HTMI chord if wanting to watch something beyond basic cable. This was an ideal place to ring in 2025 and we are eager to come again in the fall.

The cabin and its surroundings were absolutely beautiful! It was the perfect weekend getaway. Donna provided clear instructions on how to get to the cabin. We downloaded the local area on Apple Maps for peace of mind and we found that to be very helpful, offline maps kicked in around 40 minutes out from the cabin.

A rustic cabin in the woods for some R and R was what we had hoped for…and we got it! Beautiful wood beams. So nice to have a private bathroom, as well as a window unit for heat and A/C. The shared kitchen was less than 50 feet away and had all the cooking vessels, utensils and cookware to make a meal. But we loved going to cafe! Barbara and her team served up delicious meals.

This place was just what I was looking for. Quiet place to relax, good place to hike and fitness center and courts. Cabin was just as advertised cozy and well kept. Everything you need for a weekend stay.

An amazing property. Very peaceful. Hot tub A+. Heating stove in living room was very effective and nice to quickly warm up inside after a night time hot tub soak on the patio. Easy access to all directions and in the gorge. Friendly check in. The only ‘issue’ was the comfort of the mattress, but that’s a personal detail/preference and very hard to please every single person. We loved our stay at the Red Roost! The boys loved the coop. We enjoyed being close to the city but also in the woods. My 8 year old loved all of the different lofts to sleep/play in. This home had all of the little things, forget your backpack for hiking (check), a bin of flashlights (checks), books for reading (check), walking sticks (check). Would love to visit this home again.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously, the place was well lit in the night when we got there and it was a breeze to get inside. The kitchen was very well stocked and even had utensils for us to use the grill there. We enjoyed the sounds of the river and the place was overall very comfortable, can't wait to come back and try another cabin!

Was as advertised- kind of minimalist, yet comfortable and clean. Shawn was responsive to my messages. Quiet peaceful neighborhood.

Had an amazing stay at Roger's place. The cabin is in the heart of New River Gorge National Park with very beautiful surroundings. Roger was very attentive through out my stay . Thank you!

we had an incredible weekend at April’s cabin! the location was perfect for stargazing, the cabin was cozy and well equipped, and April was such a gem with responding to any questions we had. truly the perfect peaceful retreat for a busy couple who wanted to get out of the city. can’t wait to return!!

Eathan was quick to respond and accommodated my request of being in town for a day trip with my fiancé for a class ceremony and myself and service dog wanted somewhere to relax until late night when the class ended and we got back in the road, he was very easy to work with as well as polite and prompt, highly recommended

Adorable tiny home!!! It was a perfect get away :) Brian left us some snacks and flip flops for the hot tub which was so kind. It was so peaceful, quiet, and relaxing! I would recommend to anyone. The hot tub was amazing under the stars and the overlook was beautiful.

This is a one of a kind location and sweet, cozy, clean spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of Shepherdstown!

We loved our stay at Jeff & Sam’s cabin! It was extremely peaceful, beautifully decorated, and well-stocked especially in the kitchen. The bed was cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was a huge highlight. The living room was remarkably cozy with the retro fireplace. We can’t wait to come back!

Man this place is a real Gem. If want a really clean, nice, easy, and adventurous place to decompress for a day or a few weeks look no farther. Joe is hands on IF you need him. He’s really got a super nice set up and i was lucky enough to see everything he’s adding to the property. Trust me you need a few days of this in your life. Will be back 100%

Had a great time at this location! It was last second and they were able to accommodate. The place is beautiful, we will definitely be planning another stay here.
