Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Westport

Great spot to break up our drive from Christchurch to Golden Bay. Very clean with all you needed in the kitchen. Great views on all sides. Modern and comfy. As advised bring your supplies as it is remote. Would definitely stay there again

The house has a wonderful ambience and the most stunning views. The pub at the end of the road has great meals and added to our great stay at Ray’s. We look forward to staying again and definitely for longer next visit.

Amazing place. A little off the beaten path but Deborah’s instructions were perfect. Place that you walk into where you know you made a good decision booking it. Walked in to a great atmosphere with music playing. Immaculate. Bed was super comfortable. Nice decor. Laundry under carport was very helpful. Eggs and coffee were nice as well. Very peaceful property where we sat outside and enjoyed the view. Definitely worth money!!

Gerry and Carol’s stay at Fox River is an absolute gem. The views are incredible and the house was truly wonderful. The kitchen was well-equipped for pulling together an easy dinner and opening wine to sit outside and enjoy the views. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom was wonderful and the shower was great. Even the views from the bathroom were gorgeous! We loved our time on the west coast and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Gerry and Carol for sharing your lovely home with us!

This appartement/ Cottage is bigger than expected and we missed nothing. A very good place to explore the cape Foulwind and the seal colony (best time is high tide !). Don' t miss Pan cake rocks also best at high tide. For shopping/supermarket go to Westport.

We stayed in 7 different AirBnBs during our South Island road trip, and this was by far our favorite and also the most memorable. We loved how quirky and cosy the old church was, and it was so fun to stargaze, play piano, hike to the lake, search for glow worms, put puzzles together, work on art projects, and explore the eclectic CD collection. For the musicians in the family, the out-of-tune piano was a huge hit, and we also had a fun afternoon working on the hot tub fire and trying (moderately successfully) to get the water to warm up enough before the 8-year-old's bedtime. For our two-night stay, we had great weather the first day and all-day rain the second day, but we were all secretly happy for the excuse to stay inside all day and enjoy the place. It does feel more like an old(er) farmhouse than a hotel, so if you're not into woodsmoke and a little dust and well-loved leather couches, this may not be a good fit -- but if you're open to the unique experience, it's really special!

stunning place, had to keep pinching ourselves regarding the views from the balcony. Driveway was steap but easily manageable and the west coast was such an amazing place to visit! id recommend this home for anyone wanting to take the trip. Great location. Well kept and completely unique, we loved the balcony!!

We enjoyed our time at Linda’s house. It was convenient to all the places we wanted to visit and close to the city for restaurants and shopping. The TV and internet were great and the shower was perfect.

our stay at Big heart beach was wonderful, it is a beautiful holiday home. perfect for 2 couples. extremely clean and it has everything you need. A very peaceful place to stay and relax but the location was great and close to Hokitika.
