Chalet holiday rentals in Weymouth

Sal is extremely helpful and friendly. Sal made us feel very welcome by ensuring we had milk, bread ( of our choice), tea,coffee, juice, eggs butter etc when we arrived after a long journey. The Well is a clean, well equipped, tranquil place with a lovely peaceful enclosed garden with ample seating/ dining areas. The Well allows easy access to several beaches: West Bay, Charmouth, Lyme Regis as well as other beautiful spots in Dorset & East Devon. We had a lovely stay. Thank you Sal & family.

I stayed at Shepherd Oak from February to March during my 6 week placement as a student at the hospital in Dorchester and loved having such a lovely, quiet place to retreat to in the evenings after busy weekdays. The cottage and its surroundings were very clean and tidy and its location is beautiful and very peaceful. The town of Upwey in general is also lovely and I spent my weekends discovering the walks around the area and frequenting the most gorgeous tearoom I've ever been in (the Wishing Well tearoom just down the road!) so for me the cottage couldn't have been in a more perfect location! The host and co-host, Helen and Gemma, were very friendly and communicative throughout my stay and overall I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Shepherd Oak and would wholly recommend to anyone. Thanks Helen and Gemma for a wonderful stay!

We had a superb 4 night stay at The Victorian Barns, staying in the lovely Lodge. The property was set in beautiful private grounds with its own larger indoor heated swimming pool, huge activity barn (complete with table tennis and badminton court) and plenty of land and lakes to walk our two Springer Spaniels around! Our host Claire gave us lots of information before our stay and also answered any questions that we had during our time there. Their on site EV charger was a god send allowed us to to-up our car at the end of the day after trips out. All in all we loved our stay and we hope to visit again soon!

Kirsty and Gary’s caravan was lovely. Very cosy and clean, loved the patio! The duvet covers were super soft and comfy as well. The park is not even a 5 minute walk from Bowleaze Cove, and you can get into town in about 30 minutes walking, or 15 minutes by car. Guest passes are included so you can use the on site club which is lovely. The hosts were very professional and friendly, and responded quickly whenever necessary! Definite recommend and will stay again if we have the opportunity!

The host and reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A couple of issues we had on arrival were swiftly dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner. Our host was very flexible and went out of her way to ensure we were happy during our stay. The location of the accommodation is excellent and it sits in an amazing area. It's quiet, rural and very pretty. We look forward to visiting again.

This lodge was just perfect for a relaxing week away, which was just what we needed. It was immaculately clean, well set out and well equipped. We loved the fact that our children and dog could explore and play freely and safely, and the lodge was well fenced and very dog friendly. We would definitely recommend, and would love to visit again ourselves.

Great host, really good communicator and very responsive to any questions. Easy to follow instructions for check in and they had left a lovely gift for my daughter as it was her 3rd Birthday, which was a very kind and personal touch. We made use of the private chef and hot tub which were both excellent. The house was immaculate and great for kids too, with plenty of toys and a large enclosed garden. We would definitely stay here again.

Joe was a great host and provided all information requested. Arrival was straightforward plenty of space. House was clean and welcoming. Photos need updating as property has been extended further. Shepherd hut in Garden was a great addition however it is cited at the bottom of a steep incline. The hot tub was a great addition and used well journey to the beach was about 15 minutes and parking was difficult but manageable. Shops et cetera were a short drive from the house. There were not many places to eat locally but plenty of takeaways if you needed them. A very enjoyable week in a lovely area about 30 minute drive to New Forest. Definitely worth considering.

Large family with young children, all had a great stay. Lots of open space. Shame there isn’t one more bathroom! But can’t be helped. All in all had a wonderful stay. Playroom is great for young kids. They loved the garden and then swing/slide. Great communication, very professional.

Fantastic location, very peaceful. Lovely setup within the lodge and great additional feature with the private sauna. All round very good and everyone was excited to stay over.

What a wonderful stay. The Shed is clean, spacious, comfy, has a real home from home feel. The centre piece of the Shed has to be the amazing sea view, I could spend hours looking out to sea in the cosy armchair. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning!

We had such a lovely stay at Kate’s place. It was just what we needed…. Relaxing, peaceful with beautiful surroundings and views. The Chalet has been nicely decorated and has everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. There are activities onsite and lots to do locally. We especially loved our visits to Portland Bill. We’d definitely come back another time. Thanks for a wonderful stay. :-)

Sam’s place is exactly as described, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Sam is a brilliant host, very responsive and a delight to deal with. I would highly recommend both the home and the host.

The chalet location is beautiful Private, peaceful,the sound of waves crashing on the shore - for us particularly this was so poignant. The chalet is bigger inside than expected and as my husband said, ‘well appointed’. It has everything you need. Walks, fishing, friendly locals, good restaurants, nearby farm shops. I so wish I could stay again, for me, for my husband, the chalet, and West Bexington, will remain in my memory forever as somewhere painfully beautiful. Maybe one day in the future I can come here again. Please enjoy your time here, the host is so genuinely kind. This will become your most favourite Air BnB in the area.

We enjoyed a lovely stay, a nice stylish chalet in great location fresh, clean and well laid out. We had everything we needed. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful. Will 100 % be staying there again on my next visit. Thank you Gosia 🙏

We had a great stay at Rachael and Stephen’s caravan. The communication was great and as no-one was in the caravan the night before they said we could get to the caravan much earlier than usual (motorway traffic had other ideas but the thought was appreciated). The caravan was very clean, we took our own sleeping bags but all the pillows and duvets looked extremely clean and new. That’s about it really, we were hardly in the caravan as we were out early and in late to enjoy our long weekend but it was lovely to come back to a clean and comfortable caravan :) we all had a lovely time!

Lovely chalet with quality fit out. We have great view over the harbour and an easy walk to beach or quay. In October it was quiet but in the summer the easy access to the beach without needing to pack would be fab. The chalet is equipped with everything you could think of and more! Cooking was easy in such a well equipped kitchen. We were here for a funeral rather than holiday so our perspective was slightly different but I can see that it would be a great base for a lovely holiday. The wifi wasn’t working/ they were helpful and immediately put us in touch with engineers who fixed the problem.

Lovely few days down in Mudeford in great holiday home a literal stones throw from the sea. Location unbeatable for families who have gear to haul to the beach. As you can see from the photos there is a path to the sea wall at the front of the home, which is fab for views and access to the beach. Just be aware that a lot of other park users use this so there are quite a few people walking past at all times of the day and into the early evening. Well appointed with everything you need, lovely and clean, even soft fluffy towels. Thank you for letting us stay in your holiday home. Hope to come again and would definitely recommend! :)
