Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Whanganui

Had a very comfortable stay. All the bedrooms were large and plenty of living space to spread out. Private with a lovely garden in the nicest part of town.

It was so homely and well equipped if you wanted to self cater. We were left cold water in the fridge. Plenty of breakfast supplies. Close to supermarket and town. Takeaway shop two doors away. We would stay again.

Great spot, lovely Kiwi batch feel with everything we needed, great open family area worked well for extended family getting together. Karen was a great to communicate with and flexible, which made the process simple. We all enjoyed our stay.

For us to book this house right next to the golf course made for the best golfing trip experience we've had. The view onto the 10th green while relaxing in the outdoor furniture was the greatest start to the day and finish in the evening. The setup inside made you feel right at home the moment you walked in the door and with very comfortable bedrooms. Would highly recommend to any golfers who are looking to plan a golfing holiday away or for those just planning to stay overnight after playing on the Castlecliff Golf Course.

Awesome. A place with the wow factor that's also comfortable and spacious. We were a couple looking for a special weekend away, and this fit the bill. We would also come here with friends and family... there's plenty of room for lots of people. Peter was a great host and made the whole experience easy.

My husband and I took my mother in law who was visiting from France, along with our 2 daughters (aged 4 and 2.5) and were blown away from beginning to end. The photos do not do this home justice. The home was easy to find and access, beautiful inside and out and had lots of little personal touches that really made us feel at home. The view was spectacular and the sunsets were next level. Access to the beach is literally at your doorstep, but with being on the hill you still feel like you're somewhere completely private. I have already told friends how wonderful the place is.

Karen's place is one of the best our staff ever stayed in. Heaps of room, clean and tidy, comfortable beds, beautiful surrounding and the list goes on. Karen was also helpful and friendly throughout the stay. We are booking for another week!

Fantastic place to stay, had a great time

It was an absolute delight staying at Mikaela's house. We were there for one night only and wish we would stay longer. The room is huge, modern and very clean. We had all the privacy we could get, it was quiet and very relaxing.

Like Philippa stated when villa finishes renovation it definitely looks grand and posh. But still loved interiors tastefully decorated furniture and personal touches. All of us enjoyed something different than normal air b&b experience. Thanks

What an incredible place! Amazing views, awesome section and bring your bikes, our kids biked around the place all the time. Three sides of the house have rain cover so even when raining there was great indoor outdoor flow. The house itself is massive, lots of space for lots of people and quiet bedrooms. My favourite was the brazier that you could sit and enjoy in the sun or rain with an beautiful scene behind it. Perfect
