Great spot easy walk to the beach and very quiet.

Whanganui top place to stay. Our whole family - 3 couples and 4 children stayed her for a long weekend - excellent space. The 2 wings upstairs and bedroom/ensuite downstairs was perfect. Loads of space and little areas so everyone was able to find somewhere to be together or on their own. Great kitchen that was really amazing in terms of providing everything you'd need - like your own home. Laundry, bathrooms excellent. Close to large park , a superette & takeaways a few mins walk. Great communication and easy check in. Would thoroughly recommend this place for a larger family or frineds group.

It was so homely and well equipped if you wanted to self cater. We were left cold water in the fridge. Plenty of breakfast supplies. Close to supermarket and town. Takeaway shop two doors away. We would stay again.

Awesome. A place with the wow factor that's also comfortable and spacious. We were a couple looking for a special weekend away, and this fit the bill. We would also come here with friends and family... there's plenty of room for lots of people. Peter was a great host and made the whole experience easy.

Love the the look and feel of the place, they have kept the heritage and this is delightful. The view over the river at night is also lovely.

Suzanne's is a beautiful place to stay. It's in a great setting next to the river and had all the amenities we needed. Loved the swimming pool. Suzanne and her family are friendly and responsive hosts.

Staying at this wee hideaway was an experience that my family and I are truly grateful for. We were met with a beautiful personalised letter, and homestead bread, yogurt and a warm conscious space. We enjoyed the intimate space and loved the range of games and books that we could all enjoy as a family. Will definitely be coming back to stay here again!

While only staying for one night, it was exactly what I was after; a very clean, very comfortable space with good privacy, away from road noise. Everything needed was available and it made the stay relaxing. The large windows face away from any other buildings and gave a feeling of space, as well as a lovely evening view of the late sun across the long, golden grass. A very pleasant stay and I'd be happy to return!

Craig came to our rescue when we needed lodging on short notice! He was very kind and flexible with our booking. The apartment is gorgeous- light and spacious, comfortable and sparkling clean. The location is lovely- we walked to and from the city center along the river. In every way it was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had.
