Great private location, a few miles from Whitby and at the doorstep of the North York Moors. Diana was responsive, attentive and an all around perfect host! Would definitely stay again!

Sara and Tom we’re incredibly attentive and very helpful. They responded very quickly to my questions which allowed me to make the best out of our time in their gorgeous little abode. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and had excellent amenities. The coffee (kept in the fridge for freshness) was delicious and we received complimentary breakfast before we left for home. We were really pleased with the location. Thank you, Sara, Tom and Ted, for looking after us so brilliantly.

We had a lovely Easter break at the accommodation. Cute and comfortable little house. We liked the decorations, lots of nice touches. A view from the second floor is beautiful and peaceful. Bed was really comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Homemade bread and food for breakfast was much appreciated. Pru and her husband were super welcoming. Highly recommend for a stay.

Sarah was very pleasant and helpful. She greeted us when we arrived, and gave us our room key and clear instructions on where we could park for free a minute's walk away, and how to get into Whitby town centre. There were lots of leaflets and information in the entrance area about the local attractions. Our room (6) was on the top floor and was clean and spacious - with a double and a single bed, en-suite shower, plenty of storage space, a sink in the room, mirrors and plenty of sockets. Towels and toiletries were provided. The room was heated well, with a good radiator. The guest house was full at the time of staying as it was Whitby Goth Weekend, but guests were quiet with their movements. A basket was provided for easy key drop off in the morning. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

We really enjoyed our stay at No. 16 and we will definitely be back. My children really enjoyed looking on the beach for sea glass they didn’t want to leave. There is lots to do and all within walkable distance.

Would give the cottage and Kitty, our host, a million stars if we could! From the beautiful landscape to the cozy cottage, we loved every minute of our stay. Kitty recommended lots of great restaurants and shops in nearby villages which we enjoyed checking out. Their are walking trails right off the property. We spotted all kinds of birds, deer, and loved the horses and cows nearby. The cottage is decorated so lovely and having a fire in the evening was such a comfort. It's very clean and supplied well with kitchen utensils, coffee, etc. We were genuinely sad to leave! We hope to be back soon, if Kitty will have us! Can't recommend a stay here enough, you will have a wonderful time!

My daughter and I had a lovely stay. This is the second time I’ve stayed and would highly recommend. Karen is always friendly and attentive and we had everything we needed. The bungalow itself is cosy and spotless. We caught the bus to York both days which was easy to do and we had a great time in York. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again x

Lovely house. Place is bigger than the pictures shown. Easy check in and Hollie was responsive to messages. Kitchen is well equipped to cook and the garden was secure for the dog. Quiet area yet close enough to amenities. Would stay here again.

We valued having a peaceful place to stay within easy reach of the hospital for visiting a close relative. It was very quiet and comfortable and we appreciated kitchenette provision with microwave, induction hob, toaster and kettle etc and also somewhere to relax on nice seating downstairs. The loft area was ideal with good shower etc and quality bedding that gave us a good night's sleep. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the heating worked well so we were kept lovely and warm. Finally we appreciated the breakfast provision which was left for us. We came by car and parked on the drive but we do use rail sometimes and have railcards so the station nearby might be handy for some future visit.

This is a beautiful AirBnB. The main bedroom is large with ensuite bathroom and the second bedroom is also a good size, with a bathroom being right outside. The living area is nicely set out and the kitchen is small but modern and well equipped (including washing machine and coffee machine). We appreciated the provision of handsoap and shower gel/shampoo/conditioner as well as washing up equipment, washing machine pods and coffee pods, along with some welcome food items. The parking area is spacious and it was very easy to check in. The location is excellent for taking in both York and the north Yorkshire moors and coast (Scarborough, Whitby) although you do need a car and there is relatively little within walking distance. There are free tennis courts almost opposite though! The children's play area was appreciated by our 5 and 8-year-olds, although note this is behind the carport for the owner's house, and adjoins their part of the property (not a problem but worth knowing) .

Comfortable bed and really cosy despite us visiting during a v cold snap, they were thoughtful in putting the heating on in advance for us. The kitchen is well equipped with an airfryer, microwave and kettle. Location very quiet and handy for Tesco and buses into Leeds or walking to Roundhay Park.

Studio 17 is lovely, homely and more spacious than it looks. Everything has been thought of down to the smallest detail to make your stay comfortable. It's set on a private cul de sac and is very quiet. There are 2 great pubs only 3 mins walk away which both serve great food and drink & the bus to York is only 5 mins walk away Liz was a very friendly host who always responded quickly. Will definately stay again in the future.

Quintessential Yorkshire village, large open green , a gastropub and extremely tall maypole. Some good country walks available from right outside the door. 2 person cottage in a nicely converted garage. Although close to hosts it was not intrusive and they were quick to respond to the couple of small issues we had. Very much enjoyed our stay

We received very clear instructions from Selena and Peter to find the property, we didn't need to contact them for anything but it seemed very clear they were responsive and available if necessary while allowing us our privacy. The annex is a lovely, bright well decorated little space that is well equipped with cool features (skylights with blinds!) and doesn't feel remotely cramped. It's high quality in ways you don't always see in an Airbnb, like the fully tiled floor. Parking is well off from the road and spacious enough for several vehicles and the property is very close to some lovely walking routes along the river. Into York itself is a very short walk. We were only in York for a short time but would gladly have stayed longer. Thanks for having us!

Very warm, comfortable and quiet room, with thoughtful touches. Excellent kitchen facilities and dining room, all immaculately clean.

Georga's place is in a great location, within the city walls. Everything is easily walkable. There are some great cafes and restaurants in the immediate area. The accommodation itself is very stylish and comfortable. We know York well so didn't need any advice or tips from Georgia, but she was happy to have helped had we needed it.

Our first time using Airbnb and it was perfect. Graeme and Helen were extremely helpful and perfect hosts. Showed us round on arrival and then left us to our own devices unless we had a question. Lovely touches like home free range hens eggs, milk, chocolate and snacks along with tea and coffee waiting for us. The location is perfect. The hot tub was spotless and a pleasure to use. You can park very securely outside the accommodation. Dog walking in the field next to the garden makes it easy. Cannot wait to return.

We booked this for a 3 generation family Wedding in Scarborough. Lots of bedrooms meant we could all stay together rather than being scattered all over. Each bedroom all had a private bathroom which was a bonus. Initially we were concerned about the parking as we were arriving in 5 cars and all the streets are disk zoned, we needn’t have worried, there was plenty of space and our host gave us ample permits. We stayed in April so not sure if it’d be the same in the summer holidays. The lounge and dining areas were good sized for us all. Our host was friendly, helpful and flexible, making our stay great. If I had any criticism, we could have used more cutlery, not a huge problem to us as we were only there a couple of days and tended to eat out. Should we all decend on Scarborough together in the future we would definitely stay there again. I would recommend this house for a large group for sure.

Great location between uni campus and city centre, perfect if you want to explore York by foot

We had a great stay. The place was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Check in was easy and communication was excellent. We'd recommend the place to anyone visiting York.
