Enjoyed 4 lovely days in Chris's apartment, it was clean & comfortable & had everything we needed. The balcony overlooking the stunning Merchants Hall was a real added bonus to sit out on. The apartment location is also fantastic, plenty of eateries/pubs/cafes, a handy Tesco Express & all York attractions easily walkable. Chris is a great communicator, very responsive & shared helpful videos to help with the checking in & out. His apartment certainly enhanced our visit to York would highly recommend!

I had a lovely stay at The Look Out! The location is great - it’s just down the road from the 199 steps, as well as plenty of shops, pubs, cafes and of course fish & chips! Andrea was always quick to respond to queries and even reached out to check I’d settled in OK. This was a lovely, cosy place to return to after a long day exploring, with fabulous views of the harbour. If (when) I return to Whitby I’ll definitely book to stay again!

Such a lovely studio apartment, excellent location with just a short walk into the city centre, equipped with everything we needed and was clean, tidy and comfy. we had a brilliant couple of days in York. Thank you!

We had a terrific four nights at the Boiling House. Everything about the cottage, the village, the amenities, the area, the walks, and everything else, was superb and exactly what we wanted out of a (too) short break. David is great… communications, access, knowledge, etc. was perfect, and we had some nice chats when we bumped into him in town. We’re nothing but really happy with everything and can’t thank David enough for providing such a great experience.

Right in the heart of it. Amazing harbour location. Great place to watch the tide rise and fall and the Sun rise. Very close to two pubs, yet completely undisturbed by them due to positioning of building. We had 3 nights, but wish we’d had a week. The weather was kind to us with no rain, but this place would be amazing if the weather was bad too. Kitchen has patio doors out to a large private patio with the best view of the river estuary, the harbour and the high cliffs that surround the bay. Above the kitchen is the first floor living room with a bay window that you could sit in all day and watch the weather, the tide and the light change.

Overnight stay and was perfect for our needs. Easy access and easy to find. My sister in law visiting from the States and me were comfortable with our rooms and was close enough to pop out to a local pub and visit the parents (in-law) Clean, tidy, fresh I would definitely use again and have suggested it to my children when they come up to visit their grandparents Thank you 😁

Wow! What an amazing place this is. Just as seen on the pictures. Beautifully furnished, the hosts have thought of everything you might need for your stay. The location is right on the beach with access to Filey and other places only a short drive away. Vanda is a great host. She was really flexible with our requests for extra time to check out and responds quickly. We will be back!

This is a wonderful rental property. It is perfectly situated on the river but only a very short walk from the centre of York. The property is beautiful inside- spacious bedrooms with lovely antique furniture in all the rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped with absolutely everything you could think of. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and kindly left us chocolates , wine and fresh flowers!! This is a wonderful property!

We had a lovely stay in monkeypowder. We loved the layout with the bedrooms downstairs and living area on the ground floor. The living room has great sea views and an area to sit and lookout. There is a huge comfortable sofa and great wallpaper of a view of Scarborough. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and a great space to enjoy a meal together. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and a modern ensuite. The apartment was spotlessly clean and we loved the quirky furniture. Free parking was a bonus and a great location to explore Scarborough.

Perfect location if you want to watch bungee jumps and why I booked in the first place! Nice and quiet and great communication. Loved the welcome snacks and added bonus for the travel toothbrushes and toothpaste as one of the kids forgot theirs. The pool was open and was a great bonus since the jump was cancelled, will rebook for sure.

a fabulous apartment with a great host, in an really good location with a fresh selection of restaurants withun 10 min walk as well as supermarkets and other shops. Well equipped kitchen, and good coffee. loved the balcony with a view over the marina. This was my third stay so that should tell you how awesome I think it is.

We had a lovely stay in York at Karen’s place! It was ideally located so close to everything. The flat was lovely and really perfect for what we needed. Would definitely recommend for exploring York. The milk / tea / coffee was a lovely touch. Thank you!

Stayed for a couple of nights, everything was great, the view and being able to people watch was a big plus. Its in the middle of most things going on in Scarborough so was the perfect spot to stay. Had a really good time.

We loved our weekend stay at the apartment. Check in information was very clear and having somewhere to park included was fantastic. York centre was a 10 minute walk away so location was great. Very clean and lovely decor. We would definitely return.

Amazing location with a fabulous view over the trees and sea. Easy access to Scarborough and Whitby, and further along the coast. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Easy and short walk down to the sea (although it’s a decent footwear walk not a flip flop walk). Lovely bathroom and decent size main bedroom (we didn’t use the smaller bedroom). Owners on hand if you need them, but other than a brief wave as we walked past they left us to it which suited us fine.
