Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Whitianga

We spent the last of 5 weeks in NZ at Abby's cottage. The house is exceptionally charming and peaceful, with the infrared sauna and hot tub especially inviting. Abby is an exceptionally helpful host and met us as we checked in, to assist us in navigating the amenities and rooms (3 bedrooms). Her location is 1/2 mile from town center and we walked for coffees and dinners ever y. The house is on the edge of town and secluded, so star gazing on clear nights is brilliant. The house has eclectic charm and is exceptionally comfortable. Coromandel town we found to be only 30 minutes from the beaches on the N and E shores of the peninsula, and Abby directed us to some truly amazing beaches and nearby tracks. We will look to stay again next time we are in the N NZ!

Our family really loved our stay here, it was so peaceful and quiet… the house has homey feel and a hour drive from the beautiful beaches, we loved that the cows were right outside our fence, lots to enjoy! Thank you !

Jennifer‘s home was a wonderful place for our group to stay before our trip on the Pahi Coastal Walk, was heaps of space very comfortable amazing views. Definitely would recommend to anyone else wanting accommodation for a group or several families

Such a gorgeous house in a stunning location, would definitely recommend! Tina our host was very friendly and easy to get hold of. The house was really well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches. We had a wonderful time exploring Hahei and the local area. We are sad to be leaving it!

Sigh....if we could have stayed here for two weeks instead of two nights, we would have. The view alone is incredible--we had a fantastic dinner with takeout pizza out on the deck, drinking wine and watching the sunset. The sunrises over Mt Paku are stunning even from the bedroom window let alone the deck--you don't even need to get out of bed. It was slightly difficult finding the place--make sure you read the instructions carefully as the turn off to the house is the one right before the actual street sign/street, but once you figure that out you're golden. Perfect location--very close to town including awesome restaurants and walkability to the beach etc. Fantastic place, we would love to come again! Book it now!

Thanks Jenny. The accommodation was perfect for our large extended family while attending a family wedding nearby. We enjoyed the proximity to stunning Coromandel haunts and took full advantage of what was on offer locally. Appreciated the late check out. Highly recommend.

House was just want we wanted and just what was described! Plenty of room for everyone and a lovely home that’s well setup for summer kiwi holiday environment. Looking forward to staying again in the future

Lovely modern home on river by beach. Beautiful, quiet. Enjoyed kayaking from house to house wish we stayed longer!

The apartment is spacious and modern with stunning views over the marina. It is well equipped with everything you could need. We received clear instructions making it easy to find and access the property. We had a very enjoyable few days exploring the beautiful coastline around Whitianga.

We had an amazing stay at David and Sue’s. Everything was as described. Such a spacious yet homely feel with absolutely everything we could want. David was very approachable and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here. Would love to return

Amazing location. Air con in the main room was perfectly suited for the hot summers night. Out door guest room and shower and toilet was a huge surprise and well used. Will be booking again. Held 10 people with ease. Thanks for offering the place.

Great stay in a beautiful area. Super close to Hahei beach & cove. Friendly, communicative hosts who had tons of local recommendations. Cozy home that was peaceful overnight. Would recommend!
