Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Wiltshire

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Matthew and Jane's B&B. The location was peaceful with lovely views over the countryside and Matthew and Jane were friendly and attentive hosts. We were welcomed with hot drinks on arrival which was lovely after a long drive. Making arrangements to arrive was easy with good, clear communication from Jane. Every room was spotless and tidy and the beds were comfortable with quality mattresses, pillows and sheets. Breakfast was delcious and Jane was keen to ensure we all had a breakfast we would enjoy with options to choose from. We would definitely stay again. Thank you both.

Really enjoyed our stay. Petra and Dick were v friendly and welcoming. Main bedroom was lovely. 2nd bedroom was tiny but single bed was v comfortable. V quiet road. This is definitely a lived in family home with lots of books, plants and ornaments. If you prefer a more like hotel experience, then look elsewhere, but we enjoyed our two night stay. Breakfast was simple (cereals, yogurt, toast, fruit etc with coffee, wide range of teas) but delicious. Was lovely to chat with our hosts about our plans each morning . Parking in central Bath is a nightmare so was lovely to leave our car parked in the street and use the bus (bus stop just across the road) to visit the town centre.

Our stay in the hut was a perfect peaceful getaway from the city. Annie has thought of everything and keeps the place in spotless condition. The hut is so cosy and the garden is serene. The area is beautiful, and has everything you need. Annie gave us some great recommendations for walks and places to visit in the local area. She's an exceptionally welcoming host and really makes the whole experience special. Thanks again!

Clean place and a friendly welcome, even the farm dog came up to us wagging its tail. A tasty English breakfast crowned the whole thing. Highly recommended as a base to explore the area. Should be reserved at the local inn

My partner and I stayed at Olivia's to attend a PhotoFrome event. Her home is beautiful, welcoming and peaceful and in a perfect location in central Frome. Our room overlooking the private garden was lovely and comfortable. Olivia was a very obliging host and it was very easy to make arrangements with her before we arrived. She made us feel very welcome and at ease. Her dog Teddy is a sweetie and very happy around people. Thank you Olivia! We would definitely recommend Olivia's home and book her place again!

Nicola was an incredible host! Her house is spacious, authentic, clean, and the single beds are very comfortable! She is responsive, friendly, and welcoming. In addition, you ll get an amazing English breakfast, the best way to start your day. Recommend staying there a 100%!

Perfect accommodation + perfect host = happy customers! This was the perfect pit stop for our journey to LEGOLAND. The room was the perfect size for 2 adults, 2 children and a baby. Breakfast was in the room and ample for all of us to set us up for our busy day. Host was extremely responsive throughout. It was a shame The Tally Ho pub is closed on a Monday (understandable reasons for why they don’t open) as food and a cold beverage downstairs would have been perfect. Note: if finding food in Hungerford please avoid The Bear pub. Lots of other lovely looking eateries in the lovely town.

We stayed at the Shiralee as part of a cycling trip around the King Alfred’s Way. It’s perfectly located on the route. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and let us lock the bikes around the back of the B&B (front gate locked overnight). Good breakfast options. Decor is eclectic but this place met our needs well.

Our stay in Bath was nothing short of enchanting. The bedroom was beautifully curated, seamlessly blending modern comfort with the timeless elegance of its Georgian surroundings. Every detail felt like a scene from a period drama, made even more magical by the fact that the home is set on a Bridgerton filming location. With history woven into every street, charming cafés just steps away, and boutique shops lining the picturesque avenues, it truly felt like stepping into a storybook. A dreamlike escape—one I would return to in a heartbeat.

This is our second stay. Accommodation is good value for money and the bedroom was spotless. Breakfast items were provided with plenty of tea and coffee. Comfy beds, warm duvets and bath towels were provided too. It’s a little noisy when the pub closes but we were expecting that and it wasn’t too rowdy, people left quickly. Would definitely stay here again :)

Great breakfast, not too far from the town, and next to some cracking views in Alexandra Park. We had a good stay in spite of the heat; Chris was very helpful during our stay.

Geraldine and John were amazing hosts. I only stayed one night but if I could I’d stay another week. Their suite is the coziest place I have ever been. Loved the back story of their home and they have made it into the most charming place to stay. As someone who leads a very busy home life, it was great to just check out of life for the day and enjoy the quiet and idyllic setting. Not to mention the bed was so very comfortable and I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in a very long time. I cannot wait to come back some time and explore the area more or just take lots of naps and relax. Thank you so much John and Geraldine!

If you're looking for peace and quiet, in gorgeous surroundings, stay here! My husband and I stayed for the weekend and wished our time at Parsonage House had been longer. The place was just like the pictures, with luxurious bedding and bath, in a secluded suite. In the mornings, we ate well, enjoying tea, hot croissants, yogurt and fresh fruit. During the day, we walked through Badminton Estate and had wood-fired pizza in the garden of a local pub. We chose this particular area to get away from London and to enjoy the countryside without the crowds present in many locations. We walked for hours and took in the fresh air without hearing a single motorbike or honking horn. Priceless! I saved the best for last: Elizabeth and John. We've stayed at many properties around the world and place you in a league of hosts who are known for warmth and kindness. Thank you for making us feel so welcome, the genuine chats and for sharing the beautiful space you've created. Top notch all the way!

The room was stunning, the bed was the most comfy bed I’ve ever slept In with beautiful bedding and linen. The bath was amazing along with the very nice bathroom. The room was very big and had plenty of space for everything we took and more. Well worth the money we paid.

What a great stay, Tim & Bridget was so cute and helpful for everything. In just a couple of days, we became like friends. They live in a lovely house with room upstairs and what a room : large place, with a very confortable bed (and I am very carefull about that due to my back pains). You have a bathroom with large shower, towel hang dryer and WC. The breakfast was also extraordinary with everything you need to have a typical english breakfast. If you look after a great stay around Swindon, I could highly recommend to anyone to go to this place.

Sometimes travelling you stumble across the right person in the right home with the right attitude with a wonderful nature. I thought the first time I visited I had found that Air BnB and now my feelings are truly confirmed. Every box is ticked for me in order to recover from the busy day. I will be staying every couple of months from now on and I would highly recommend Ali as your host if you are visiting wonderful Dorset or neighbouring counties for either pleasure or business. And what pleasure grounds you have within a short drive: Stourhead landscape gardens, Shaftesbury, Dorset villages, Georgian towns, ancient villages...what is not to enjoy. Oh and the Jurassic coast. I will shut up now but honestly you cannot go wrong if you book a stay with Ali. Thank you.

This was a real unexpected pleasure. Dee's place was very simple, but oh, so relaxing. The pile of old Country Living magazines by the bed to read, the lovely warm bedroom with the bathroom opposite, just waiting for me to have a bath. There were lots of little sweet touches, and her breakfast was incredible - I just couldn't believe the amazing spread she put on when the cost of the room was so reasonable. Her hospitality was faultless - giving and responsive while also non-invasive. I slept like a log, and the following morning when I awoke in my own bed I felt a little sad that I couldn't go down the stairs to such a lovely breakfast again!

I stayed with Avril for one night and she is a very good host. The place was spotless, and in my room, which had a lockable door, I had tea and coffee making facilities, plus use of the main kitchen, for which she had bought me bread to toast for breakfast, as well as some chocolate filled buns. It's now my go to place to stay whenever I visit the area.

Arlene’ Air B&B was idyllic and gorgeous! Well located near Cotwolds villages (we visited Bourton on Water, Bibury, lower and upper Slaughter, and Stow on the Wold). And ate in Lechlade- New Wave and the New Inn; both were lovely. And we were there for just two days! The room in the cottage is comfortable, and the breakfast was great and set us up for the day. Arlene was so lovely and easy to communicate with. Would recommend. Thanks Arlene!

Chris was excellent at communicating before arrival. Clear instructions and a What3Words location meant that the house was easy to find, despite it being down narrow and slightly confusing lanes. On arrival Chris couldn't have been more welcoming. The bedroom has a lovely feel, clean and tidy, but also full of books and rugs and pictures. The bed is very comfortable and the village is very quiet. I would definitely book again.

I thoroughly enjoyed the last few days spent with John and Kathy. They are a very warm welcoming, very sociable and friendly couple and made me feel right at home the moment I arrived. The facilities were immaculate, extremely comfortable and had everything you needed and more. I've stayed at many Airbnb's recently and I've never had such a good breakfast as I did at John's - very healthy and filling and so much appreciated. Returning at the end of a day was like coming home, especially the fish pie supper on my last evening there. I had a wonderful time. John and Kathy are super hosts, thoughtful and kind. I would have no hesitation in either recommending them or staying there again.

This was a gem of a find. A small but perfectly formed place with everything a couple needs for a very comfortable stay. it's a lovely perk to be able to open the back door and enjoy the patio space over the peaceful greenery. Matt and Kelly were also very happy to let our dog come along! They were very accommodating of our requests, responsive and kind. in other words- super hosts!
