Apartment holiday rentals in Windermere

Had a great stay, wonderful location and the apartment was just like the pictures. Cleaning kit and cooking supplies were provided, which was very helpful!

The apartment building was within walking distance to restaurants and shops (5-6 mins ). Nearest grocery is Tesco. The space was clean , comfortable beds, and well equipped kitchen. The balcony offers a good view of the lake. It’s a peaceful area. You can hear the birds chirping in early morning. We really enjoyed our stay and defo will book again next visit . Thank you ☺️

Lovely, cosy holiday apartment with comfortable beds, great bed linen and workable cooking facilities. In excellent location, 4 minutes from the railway and bus station and very close to all of the shops and restaurants in the town.

An Easter Break at The Beehive ,Grasmere. From clear communication & instruction, The Beehive was a perfect place to spend the Easter Break in the Lake District. Accurate description, spotlessly clean. Complimentary bottle of wine and a lovely fruit cake on arrival . The decor was lovely throughout & the apartment had everything we needed during our stay. The views from the communal garden space were lovely & an easy walk into Grasmere took us to some lovely eateries . Really enjoyed the Distillery & The Swan Hotel . Rather than use the car we hopped on & off the regular 555 & 599 buses to Ambleside, Keswick . They were so easy & cheap too. With a flexible check in & out and great communication we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will surely return . Thanks

really excellent apartment with a stunning balcony and views. we loved the sunset and the great atmospheric lights on the balcony. It is a huge apartment with very comfortable beds. great clean kitchen and terrific bathroom. Totally clean with plenty towels and warm. The parking was perfect and key entrance was easy. lovely communication. we will definitely go back to apartment 3. highly recommended and a great location for a stroll to the restaurants and bars.

The perfect pit stop for us on a longer journey. Had everything we needed while traveling with our 1yr old and 3yr old for the night and lovely views out of the windows. We made use of the very handy washer and dryer. Was near to shops like Tesco for food, petrol and car wash. Would highly recommend for a small family like ours or anyone really!

We had a great stay at Irina's apartment. We arrived by train and it was easy to walk to the apartment. It is in a central location with easy access to nearby attractions like Kendal Castle. It was easy to catch buses to Ambleside and Grasmere for hiking and touristic excursions. We would definitely recommend Irina's place for a trip to the lake district.

Stunning views from the windows in the living room and two bedrooms on the same level. Great base to explore Ullswater just that little bit away from busy-ness of Pooley Bridge. We had a very relaxing stay and had everything we needed in simply-decorated comfortable accommodation with modern kitchen and bathrooms. Tip: there is a pub that serves food 15 mins down the road but it gets booked up so reserve a table before you go in busy school holiday periods.

Very lovely flat! It was very central within Sedburgh - 30 seconds to the shops etc where everyone was very friendly! The flat had everything we needed, good kitchen for making food, nice shower, comfortable bed! There was also plenty of guide books left out for us to look through! Perfect for a few days out of the city - the location was around 25 minutes from Kendall (good for supermarkets) and from there you can go into the Lake District; or the other direction you have the Dales which are of course stunning! We treated ourselves at the Black Bull which was stunning food - highly recommended! The 5pm check-in is a bit late in general as by the time we checked in etc it felt like the end of the day already! I do understand that it takes time to clean etc. I’m a keen recycler, so it was good to have instructions on what to do. However the recycling bins are a little walk down the road, so maybe a recycling box or something to make it a bit easier to take them to the bins!

A wonderful place to go and relax. The surrounding area is stunning and is only a short drive to either Keswick and Penrith. I would highly recommend you stay if you are after a rural retreat.

We stayed for a few days during the Easter holidays and despite the poor weather we had an amazing time. The flat we stayed in was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. In a great location within walking distance to the lake and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants near by. Our favourite feature was the log burner which we made use of due to the poor weather so we were extra cosy! Loved staying here and would 100% recommend and stay again.

Can't recommend Kim's place enough! The location is perfect - absolutely loved sitting out on the terrace just listening to the water and looking for red squirrels (we saw one a couple of times!) Very comfy and clean inside too.

Great cottage, clean, comfortable and in a good location. Bonus is the car parking permit. Leeanne the host was easy to contact and supplied clear instructions on how to find car park and cottage. Kendal is a town with various walks so if need be, you dont need to use tje car again. We had a fab time 👏

We stayed here for 3 nights but could have stayed the whole month. Indoors, this cozy apartment has everything one needs and outdoors is a heaven for walkers and hikers. Free parking is a bonus. The bus stop is just around the corner and so handy for quick visits to the other parts of the lakes. Will recommend to friends

Thurnham hall is a great place to stay!

We loved our stay. The apartment was not like the photos on the listing but it was nice nonetheless. Quiet, easy access to Lancaster, helpful staff, top facilities - we highly recommend the spa. Would like to stay again.

Colin contacted us prior to our stay to give us accurate details of where to go, and what to do. He gave us his contact number incase there was any issues, and told us to contact him anytime. His apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the photos do not do it justice.. and the views from the balcony were 100%. The location was perfect for what we was looking for. We would highly recommend ,and definitely stay there again.😊

Howe Tarn was such a beautiful place to stay- really peaceful and great location. Mark left the apartment very clean for us and emailed us a guide on what is nearby/ local recommendations which we used. This was really helpful. Great host and great communication. The only small negative was the shower which was not very powerful and not too hot! But other than this, Howe Tarn is a very beautiful place to stay and would recommend it to anyone😊.

Such a beautiful apartment to stay in! The surroundings are stunning, and it was the perfect place to come back to and relax after a day's hiking. It is also very walkable to the town which is full of great places to eat and shop. I would definitely recommend!!

Fantastic apartment for a weekend stay. Extremely comfy bed and well stocked kitchenette. Rebecca was great with her communication and check in was quick and easy. The hotel facilities included in our stay were great, with a pool (free pool towels available), sauna, bar/restaurant and kids games room. Lovely grounds, quiet and peaceful. Easy access to Keswick. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing for a quiet, peaceful stay clowe to other towns and attractions.

Great stay at Raluca's place. Her communication was great from the outset, responding promptly to questions and providing lots of local recommendations. The place was perfect for our stay and the kids had a great time. The swimming pool and play areas were excellent and the toys in the apartment were a real bonus. Would happily stay here again for a family break.
