This beautiful Oakland Oasis was better than I imagined it would be! This place exceeded my expectations! Coming through the gate the first night, to a path of twinkling lights leading us to our adorable cabin took my breath away! It was the perfect location for peace and quiet right in the middle of Oakland. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more time on the property. We flew in from out of state to visit friends and spent a lot of time out and about. I definitely want to come back to spend more time hanging out in the backyard with the goats and chickens. My 13-year-old loved the backyard, the trampoline and the animals. The location was very walkable and within several blocks of many restaurants and shops. We rented a car and street parking was easily accessible. Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park was only an 8 minute drive away and we spent most mornings walking through the mountains enjoying the beautiful trees and views of San Francisco. Highly recommend this listing!

Laura and Darren were wonderful hosts. Super helpful and communicative. It was lovely having access to the pool, sauna, and jacuzzi.

Kona Cabin was the perfect place for us to get away for our anniversary, tucked into the woods but only a short drive from downtown Fort Bragg. The property is super dog friendly and has everything you could need. We loved observing the wildlife just outside the door, including ravens, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, and banana slugs. The cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The property was very private and quiet, with lots of room to explore and relax. We loved it and would definitely stay here again!

Eliza and Kevin are the consummate hosts! The location, beauty and comfort of their home is remarkable. And the pool was just what my husband needed. We are in the middle of a move and the quiet beauty of their spot was healing. It was so wonderful that we are going back in 3 days!

I had an all-around good experience: easy, flexible check-in, friendly interaction, loved having the quiet of a separate cottage. Would happily re-book when next in the Bay Area.

We had a delightful stay in the cabin! The setting is so serene and beautiful, and the cabin was homey, perfectly appointed and extremely clean. I couldn’t have been happier. The ONLY thing I’d recommend would be an umbrella for the patio table (perhaps there was one in a closet, and I missed it!). Jake greeted us when we arrived, adding a personal touch. It was nice to know they were around if we needed anything, but otherwise we were left alone to enjoy our stay. I enjoyed learning more about the cabin and its/our hosts’ backstory (in the binder). Would definitely stay again and would enthusiastically recommend.

Lovely stay! Walkable neighborhood, lots of great places to eat nearby. The cabin is cute and had everything I needed. I even forgot my laptop charger, and Amy graciously loaned me one. Would definitely stay again!

We had an exceptional experience that our children will always remember! They loved enjoying breakfast and snacks on the deck, soaking in the breathtaking views of the pasture through the front cabin window. Being able to purchase Stemple Creek meat in advance meant our fridge was stocked with everything we needed to cook delicious bacon and steak for breakfast. The beds were incredibly cozy and comfortable, making our stay even better. Plus, the close proximity to a fantastic coffee shop with amazing pastries and pizza was a delightful bonus! We also discovered a playground that the kids absolutely adored. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our stay and the attentive host. The Stemple Creek dinner was a highlight, allowing us to relish the evening knowing our cabin was just steps away. It was the perfect getaway!

We cannot recommend this place enough. It is so very well thought out. Every little detail is seen to, and the hosts are friendly and responsive. There is only one thing about this AirB&B that takes away from how perfect it is: the host's heavy-handed requests for a 5-star review. If they did what they did without mentioning how badly they want a 5-star review, I would run-not-walk to give them that review. However, they way almost every message, like a signature line, especially the farewell message pushes for a positive review and how much that means to them, makes it feel like they care more about what the guest says about them than about simply taking care of the guest. I understand the importance of positive reviews, but pushing to the point of feeling like a quid pro quo, can diminish how enjoyable the stay was. I feel kind of bad mentioning this because they do such an incredible job providing an amazing stay w/ amazing accommodations. Anyone will love their stay here.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the lodge for our one year wedding anniversary. It is located on the same property as their vineyard which makes for a beautiful, serene view and setup. During our stay, we did a very personal wine tasting with David in the main house. It truly is a cool experience and unlike any other wine tasting I have done before, not to mention the wine was very good! The lodge itself is cozy and relaxing with a private back patio looking into the trees and nature. I wasn’t so sure about the outdoor shower at first but it was actually really nice! Water warmed up really fast and the view is amazing. The bed is located upstairs which was very comfortable and cozy with plenty of pillows and blankets. If you have trouble with mobility, the stairs leading to the bedroom are not easy to navigate and there are more stairs from the parking lot to the lodge with some uneven ground at times. If you are fine with stairs and some walking, it is well worth it!

Michelle is a great host and the cottage was lovely! The garden is gorgeous and there are lots of places to relax outside. I felt very welcome and taken care of! It was not an issue for me at all, but the location is a little ways out from the action and there is not a lot close by. On the plus side, it’s relatively quiet, cozy, and relaxing! I enjoyed the hot tub both mornings I was there! Overall , a very pleasant experience!

I didn’t stay there myself but my wife had a nice relaxing weekend away from screaming kids. We go to sea ranch for coastal trails and the rental is a nice resting place between outdoor activities.

Eugenia’s place is in an idyllic location in the Berkeley Hills. It’s a cozy space, beautifully designed with every need anticipated. It’s clean, new and fresh. We’d return in a heartbeat and hope to do so soon.

Super cozy cabin, felt right at home. Definitely bring some extra towels, its very dewy in the mornings! Dogs felt comfortable here and were not distracted by the forrest sounds. Fenced in yard is always a plus!

I just returned from a short stay in Fairfax and Barry's place was very sweet and cozy. As a long-term resident of Fairfax, it was a great setup overall, with walking distance to town, a warm welcome, everything pristinely clean. I didn't spend time there besides sleeping, so I had everything I needed. There is a beautiful outdoor patio that is great for sunny weather. Guests should know that they need to climb up and down a ladder to the sleeping nook, which is cozy but small. It worked for me fine, but important to note. I would definitely stay again.

I’ve done A LOT of traveling and have stayed in many Airbnbs, but Mama K’s is by far my most favorite! The house is lovely and has more than the amenities anyone would need and, I’ve never stayed in a more CLEAN Airbnb before— all the tiny details have not been overlooked! This was my second time enjoying the space & I did not want to leave. It’s one of the most beautiful, spotless (and I am very detail oriented!) and peaceful places I’ve spent time. The grounds are absolutely beyond beautiful— from the lush yard to the incredible access to the Russian River out the back door to the outdoor shower and private clawfoot tub, the hot tub on the deck to the whimsical gardens, use of river toys (canoes & kayaks) and more! I had tears in my eyes when it was time to leave! I cannot say enough about this truly one of a kind and magical place. Thank you Karen for the opportunity to enjoy a true slice of heaven!

What a great way to spend a quiet weekend! The house was immaculately decorated, with all the amenities and kitchen essential. Would love to come back in the summer as it’s just steps away from the river.

I am so incredibly happy to have found this amazing piece of land. Raul made everything so easy. The house is so much better than the pictures. It’s just so hard to get into words and pictures how amazing this place is. I felt like I got teleported to heaven for a night. I will forever look for this place when booking.

This place is everything you could want for a fishing trip and more! I surprised my husband for his birthday with a stay in Cottage #5, and he loved every minute of it. The views were stunning morning and night, and the dock was just steps from the door—he fished from sunrise to sunset! We grilled steaks and had dinner by the water, and I enjoyed peaceful morning coffee with a view. The cottage was cozy and had all the basics we needed. The bed deserves its own shoutout—super comfortable! No TV, but we brought a projector and watched movies in the living room. Just a heads-up: there were a lot of bugs, which is expected in nature, so definitely bring bug spray. We had to DoorDash some along with candles, though not sure how much they helped. Overall, it was a relaxing and fun trip. We loved it and are already thinking about making this a yearly tradition. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful fishing getaway!

We had a terrific stay at the Rockridge casita. Easy walk from BART, absolutely beautiful neighborhood with restaurants, shopping, public library, easy access to San Francisco. The casita was clean and bright with everything we needed for our stay. Bed was comfortable, heated bathroom floors a nice perk. This is the kind of AirBnB I like where it's not completely sterile and devoid of character. We also enjoyed getting to meet Diana, her kids and their pup Ziggy!

This is my second time staying here (a first for me!), and I loved it as much during this stay as I did the first. Fantastic location, friendly host, lots of privacy, unique stay. Thanks again, John. See you next time!

We absolutely loved our time here at Robert's place. The house itself was lovely, very homey and well decorated and clean. Robert provided us a whole host of activities, restaurants, and wineries in the area to go visit. I would very much recommend to anyone interested in staying at this location

We loved our stay in this cute water tower! We had a view of the nearby wildlife preserve from the upstairs bedroom window, and caught a glimpse of a couple of zebras. This spotlessly clean home had everything we needed, plush towels, an extremely comfortable bed, very organized and well-stocked kitchen, and a nice selection of coffee and assorted teas. With its convenient location we were able to walk to the nearby restaurants and shops. The instructions were detailed and easy to follow, and excellent communication from our host. We were fortunate to be greeted by their sweet dog which made our stay even more special! We hope to have an opportunity to visit and stay again soon!
