Our second stay there. Great value, and location just west of Devils Lake State Park. With a 5 minute walk each morning up the hill to a wonderful orchard farm market/bakery for fresh made apple cider donuts and coffee.

The house was very spacious for our family of 6. We loved the location, view, and short drive to everything we wanted to do.

Very comfortable stay, warmed by gas stove fire- a great place to put boots near and coffee mug to stay warm. Absolutely beautiful location, lovely view of the animals from large back door, and a welcoming host!

Amazing accommodations for a peaceful weekend getaway to relax and rejuvenate. It was centrally located so we could explore LaCrosse and Viroqua, but had just as much fun enjoying the comfortable cabin and beautiful views. Without being cluttered the cabin was thoughtfully furnished and equipped. We were especially surprised to be treated to a dozen farm fresh eggs, maple glazed cinnamon rolls, and a loaf of fresh baked bread. The water from the faucet was delicious. Cashton has a nice little grocery store to find last minute items. We explored Wildcat State Park on the way out of town and would love to come back to do some kayaking on the Kickapoo River.

We had a very nice stay. The beautiful cabin is in a lovely setting . We really enjoyed exploring and the surrounding areas and hiking in different spots. The scenery is amazing with so many beautiful farms . Some of our favorite things to do now in retirement. (hiking and exploring!) Great Mexican restaurant right in Viroqua for those who enjoy eating out . We would definitely come back!

Cute and cozy farmhouse, well-equipped, and a perfect way to relax for a weekend. We enjoyed going for walks in the local state parks, winter activities at Tyrol Basin,and exploring Mt Horeb. Would definitely stay here again!

We planned a last minute getaway to Linda & Robert’s place and it was wonderful. My husband and I were looking for a simple, secluded place with space to explore and be immersed in nature with our dog. This “rustic retreat” was just what we had hoped for and more. It is exactly how it is described, no surprises. Before booking, we read the listing description that was provided, viewed all of the photos and loved reading all of the glowing reviews. We were sold! We loved the long drive into the property and the wildlife seen along the way. The trails on the property are such a treat and so much fun to explore. The windows in the cabin were just as described….AWESOME!Puzzles and campfires were our source of relaxation, after dark. Linda and Robert are great hosts and communication was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at the rustic retreat and would highly recommend it to others. :)

We had a wonderful weekend. We hosted our son and new daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner at the barn Friday night. It was the perfect setting. The bride and her bridesmaids stayed Friday night and got ready for the wedding at the barn. They all had the best time! Your place is absolutely beautiful! Everyone loved it!!

We stayed at Ali's place for 2 nights with a group of friends who came for a local wedding. It was roomy, comfortable and clean and very adequate for our group. It was a perfect setting for our time together.

The Goodly Farm is an oasis. We had a wonderful time letting our worries melt away. There are so many beautiful little spots you can curl up with a book inside or outside. And if you enjoy farm animals, Poncho, Banjo, and Mrs. Murphy will show you a good time.

My friends and I booked this for a girls trip for a weekend and it was just perfect. So quiet and cozy and we watched old Disney movies on VCR all weekend!!! The place was so cute and clean. The lake is beautiful and the hot tub is amazing. There isn’t a lot nearby, but we didn’t need to do much for our trip so it worked out nicely. Cherie is a great host and always responded quickly if we needed anything. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

We had a wonderful stay. The place was super cozy, and the bed I had was comfy, I slept like a baby. Loved the bathtub upstairs, and also the chocolates were delicious and a nice touch. We really loved how close it was to Wildcat Mountain and Kickapoo Valley reserve, and also how quiet it was. We really needed a break from our busy Madison lives. We love to be able to cook where we stay and Leah had literally everything we needed, down to the blender and the right number of pans. We also loved the little reminder signs about the plumbing, very creative and well done. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Awesome stay, I had forgot to think about the coffee situation for the morning and there was some waiting when I arrived. There was a welcome letter waiting for me with some recommendations for food an option for a horse back tour. I would have taken advantage but after doing a race in Elroy that day I was to sore too go. The peaceful surroundings were great tho considering the rest was needed. Price was great and helped save some to enjoy the town a little more. Would definitely stay again

The farmhouse is tidy and uncluttered. There is a very big front yard for fetch with a dog or for children to run around in, and a rural road out front for long walks. This is a great stopover if you are travelling with children, or with a dog as I was.

Celebrated a birthday with friends at Cody’s Ranch and we had a blast! We did so many activities ranging from horse back riding to cruising on the four wheeler. Pet some chickens and saw many other animals. Inside was very clean and welcoming along side the massive hot tub in the home was quite a treat. We will definitely be back in the future to continue the fun activities once again.

My family and I absolutely loved this property. We were on a weekend away to do some antique shopping and the location was ideal for getting to several different shops. The huge kitchen was amazing for dinners and the grocery store a town over was a great resource as well. The whole place was cozy and has more than you will need! We will definitely be coming back. Loved Abastasia's cabin will definitely come back again. My bby had a blast and so did the crew... And she was lovely and understanding with me with some troubles I has at the end... Come back for sure

Kathy’s place is perfect for a north woods getaway. We snowmobiled, and even though there is no trail at the end of the driveway, there is a public boat launch that provides access to the chain of lakes just a couple of houses over and easy to get to. The place has everything you need and just the right amount of tucked away but still close to town. Kathy is nearby and willing to help with anything that comes up. 10/10

I booked the school house for a short surprise birthday getaway for my husband. The moment he walked in he loved the place. Super clean, well taken care of, and the craftsmanship of the home was extraordinary. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs, they had firewood and kindling for us to use. We saw way more deer on the property next to us than we did cars passing. Comfortable and everything we needed for our stay. Would highly recommend! Thank you to these host for sharing such a unique and awesome place!!!

We are returning guests at the Bunkhouse and have thoroughly enjoyed our stays. The home is always very clean and well-appointed, and we appreciate the spaciousness and comfort of the beds, allowing restful sleep.
