The property is situated in the middle of a lot of foliage, and it was really cozy for us. Everything was squeeky clean and maintained well, and the caretaker Mr. Shaji took good care of us, delivered food and groceries on time, and he was really friendly. Mornings in The Placid Rill are the most beautiful. We could watch the sunlight falling on the mountains and trees nearby, right from the bed. It was a 5 star property and a 5 star experience, and it is very ideal for couples and small families. One small issue I would say was that the wifi in our room was a little weak. I had some work documents to upload, and it took a lot longer than expected. But I don’t mind that. Would 100% recommend to a friend.

We had an amazing stay at this place! After visiting Kumarakom, we booked this as a stopover on our drive back to Bangalore, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The property is stunning, and our group of seven unanimously rated this stay better than our houseboat experience in Kumarakom. The caretaker, Titus, was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and ensured all our needs were met. While the food could use some improvement, it didn’t take away from our overall experience. We have no complaints and are already looking forward to visiting again!

The property is Right next to the tea estate, amazingly maintained, beautifully kept the European essence. Best for family of 5-7 members. They have huge balcony, spacious rooms, decent kitchen/study/living space. Overall Loved the support and hospitality. Nishant is a gem… he really went out of the way to help us. Note- google Maps doesn’t work accurately here, do not follow Gmaps… I strongly recommend to stay in constant touch with host while coming here.

Beena's place in Thodupuzha is perfect for workations! It had everything we needed for both work and relaxation: Wi-Fi, a multiple-work-desk setup, and spacious, clean rooms that felt like home. The property itself is amazing, with all the essentials covered. The food was delicious, fresh, home-cooked, and high quality. However, for longer stays, the menu can feel a bit repetitive, especially for vegetarians like us. The host and her family were incredibly welcoming and warm - always smiling. Abbas Uncle, in particular, was super friendly. Suggestions: Adding washbasins in the bathrooms would be a nice touch. Installing net or mesh windows would be a great addition, allowing fresh air circulation while keeping insects and lizards out. Overall, it's a great choice for a short, comfortable stay! Recommended!
