The hosts have truly created something wonderful here. Whether it was the perfectly stocked kitchen, the charming decor, the comfy bed, or the care and thoughtfulness poured into every corner, it was clear that the hosts went above and beyond to make guests feel at home. The hosts were incredibly kind, and communication was excellent. One of my favorite moments was simply sitting by the window, watching the squirrels go about their little adventures. If you're looking for a place, this is it.

Such a lovely, peaceful and calming setting with nice details. I appreciated hosts willingness to allow me an early check in so I could maximize my short stay. I always appreciate a host who welcomes my dog. David even volunteered that my dog could swim in the lake, and provided beach towels for the dry-off. I hope to be able to return and spend more time there in the future.

This home is a must see! Situated on a private lake, I enjoyed spending my mornings watching the ducks and geese on the pond from the picture window in the kitchen. Falling asleep in a soft king size bed on the top floor to the sound of rain on the roof was a truly heavenly experience. I have never been more relaxed or satisfied with a stay. I arrived at the property a bit earlier than check-in. Carrie responded quickly and let me in the house early. She always responded within 15 minutes and was very warm and friendly. My pups loved their stay as well. There’s a line between two large trees out front that can be attached to a colar, so the lack of closed fencing wasn’t a problem for my more curious furry adventurer. Next time I’m in the area this home will be the first one I check for availability. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
