Monthly Rentals in Apollonia

I had a wonderful stay at Pension Afroditi. My hosts were absolutely amazing and I cannot thank them enough for their kindness. The location is perfect— just a 5 to 10 min walk to the center of the city where there are bus stops and taxis if you don’t have your own transportation. The room has an adorable little balcony with a lovely view. Also, you can step right out the door and hop right on a few of the great hiking trails Sifnos has to offer!

We arrived at midnight due to a ferry delayed for 7 hours. I called every taxi and couldn’t get a ride. Niki proactively called me and assisted in getting us to our room. Room is just below town. You feel very rural but are a short walk from town. Visit the family bakery. I left with many cookies in my bag. We had everything we needed and loved hanging out on the front patio every evening and morning. Its the kind of place you would like to stay in for a month!

One would think that two days on Sifnos during which the rain-sleet all but obscured the view of the island and the accompanying wind made even a short walk unpleasant would have been a keen disappointment to first-time visitors to the Greek Islands. It was just the opposite. Sophia and Adonis provided us all the sun and warmth we needed with their unending generosity, amazingly hospitality, and incredibly interesting and intelligent conversation (a true symposium!). I LOVE them! And the cottage was the cutest accommodation ever. It looked like something out of "Sifnos Living" magazine and was cozy and comfortable, with all the requisite amenities. I can't recommend this Airbnb more highly. Our stay in Sifnos was the best, most special, and most memorable part of our stay in Greece, and I thank Adonis and Sophia for embodying all that is best and most noble about this lovely and fascinating country.

The place is extremely close to Apollonia square, which is very convenient for transport and being close to bars/restaurants/shops etc and yet just the right distance to have some privacy and quiet. It is exactly as described, beautifully clean with a lovely outside terrace for breakfast or evening drinks. The star of the show though was the host Dafni, who is absolutely lovely. Giving recommendations for the island, helping with travel, meeting us at the square and also coming out at near midnight to help with an issue we had, a real hero. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will stay here the next time I’m on the island.
