Subhash's place is nothing short of a paradise with beautiful surroundings and with equally if not more beautiful home. The property is pet friendly, kid friendly at the same time. Might not be very accessible to elderly with knee pains as there are stairs to access the entrance. The interiors are all tasteful and you have everything yo anticipate in a home and more. From internet to toaster, there is everything to make feel right at home. Subash and Uthayan have been very proactive and ensured we had no issues coming to Kotagiri and during stay. When we planned out vacation we weren't aware of the daily tourist limit set by TN government. Subash made sure we had the permits available before we entered Nilgiris. You can't ask for a better host. It's been an amazing experience my family and I will cherish. Hope to re-visit the property very soon. Thanks for having Subash

The Observatory was a place directly from a fairy tale. I have not seen a place as beautiful as this one. This is a gem perched atop a hill with views of rolling hills and lush greenery. The views were sensory delight. Just a perfect place for a family vacation away from hustles of life and to soak in some serenity. To add to it, the house caretakers were great. Kanaka amma made yummiest home made food that made our stay even more memorable. She always greeted us with smile and warmth. She spoke in Tamil and i spoke in English but did not need a google translate to understand each and communicate. It was so smooth. Mr Kartik was such a great host who was always responsive and flexible. He allowed us early checkin since we had elderly and toddler with us. He also helped us contacts for car rentals and places to visit. I highly recommend this place if anyone wants to experience the serenity of nature and warm hospitality.

We stayed in Cabin 6 and had a peaceful, refreshing experience. While there are several cabins on the property—most of them along a cement pathway—Cabin 6 is set slightly apart and surrounded by trees, giving it a calm and secluded vibe. Two other cabins are nearby, but they didn’t affect our sense of privacy or the natural feel of the place. There’s a beautiful waterfall within walking distance, though getting there involves walking through a muddy, rocky stream. Rocks can be slippery, especially if it’s raining, so sturdy footwear is recommended. There’s also a meditation rock area nearby—not a single flat rock, but a group of natural rocks where you can sit or lie down and enjoy the peaceful sounds of wind and birds. The food, prepared by Baby akka and her team, was a highlight. Every meal was homely and delicious, with the egg curry being our favorite. If you’re looking for a quiet, offbeat stay close to nature with great food and warm hospitality,Fuschia is a fantastic choice.

We stayed for a week and it was one of a kind experience. Mr. Monishguru is an excellent host. The property is situated in a beautiful farm with complete privacy. We felt very safe throughout the stay. The house had all the facilities needed for a long stay/workation. The internet connection is very stable and there is good power backup. The rooms and bathroom are very clean and ventilated. The neighbors were very friendly and gave us fresh vegetables like cucumber and tomatoes. The location is great for exploring the Nilgiris mountains. Coonoor and Kotagiri are just 90 mins away and the drive itself is nice. Bhavani Sagar dam view point is only 30 mins away and it's a good spot to spend the evenings. Dhimbam Ghats and Anaikatti are also within 90 mins drive. Bike and car enthusiasts would love driving up and down the mountains from here. Coimbatore city centre can be reached in one hour. We miss the place and would love to come back.
