I really enjoyed my stay at Michael's cabane. After changing rooms from the first cabane to the second, everything was exactly the same—cozy and comfortable. The room was thoughtfully decorated with German plaques, which I especially appreciated since my heritage is Austrian and that’s where I lived for decades—just right for me. The bathroom and showers were also uniquely designed, and I had all the amenities I needed with the outdoor kitchen and dining area. The location was great, with supermarkets nearby for convenience and not far from the ADO bus terminal. The walk to Bacalar Lagoon was a bit farther than mentioned, but very manageable. I also appreciated the TV screen and hammocks for relaxing in the evenings. Michael was very helpful and accessible, always ready to assist when needed. He provides a key, which makes getting in simple and hassle-free. Everything went smoothly, and he also took me to the bus station upon my departure. Overall, it was a wonderful stay!

Christopher’s condo is super comfortable. It is just on the outskirts of the old part of Bacalar. Walking 10 minutes brings you k to the neighbourhood s with great restaurants. Walk for 20 minutes and you are down by the beautiful lake! The condo has two small balconies with really nice furniture, on the balconies and in the condo itself. We cooked a few meals there - the kitchen is set up nicely. And the bed? It is huge and comfortable. There is a cool little swimming pool, too. Lastly, Jacqui was quick to respond to our queries, and made sure the hot water issue was resolved pronto. All in all, a great place to stay while in amazing Bacalar!

Quiet area, 1 block off the lagoon access. Nice space, very nice staff, so will definitely save for future returns.
