Monthly Rentals in Bark Lake

The cottage was surrounded by beautiful views, had a comfy interior and was close to excellent trails. It had everything we needed to make wonderful meals, enjoy a fire, and relax the time away! We really enjoyed hiking to the view point on bear mountain. Remember to bring all supplies as we ran into a situation where we didn’t bring shampoo/conditioner, etc. The cottage has a few decks, all with comfortable seating and great views. If you’re looking for a quiet spot, close to nature and the lake then this is your place :)

We had a great stay at Rungarune’s! My husband and I were snowmobiling for a few days and this was a great location to base ourselves from. Rungarune’s was a short walk from where we parked our snowmobile trailer and the accommodation had everything we needed and more. Warm and welcoming and fully equipped it was just what we needed after a long day on the sleds. Rungarune went above and beyond with a nice note upon arrival to let us know that we could help ourselves to the food goodies in the kitchen which included some lovely fresh fruit, croissants, eggs, muffins etc that were a real treat. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

My husband and I had a lovely week-long stay at the Secluded Nature Chalet over Christmas! Lisa's and Ian's attention to detail was evident from the start, with thoughtful touches like a handwritten card and welcome gifts awaiting us upon arrival. The house is cozy yet modern, with an impressively well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom felt luxurious, featuring a rain shower and a large bathtub—especially with the small bath amenities thoughtfully provided by our hosts. The property offers a perfect blend of forested tranquillity and access to Bark Lake. We loved the beautiful view from the house and the daily visits from squirrels on the terrace. The snowshoes and hiking poles the host lent us made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Lisa was very responsive and quick to resolve a minor heating issue. Her attentiveness ensured a smooth and pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful time at Sarah's cottage. It's in a great location, on a lake and surrounded by forest. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous - its design is beautiful and makes excellent use of the available space. There are a lot of thoughtful and tasteful details that make the space feel very comfortable, contemporary, and unique. Our 6-year-old loved the swing on the main floor and the bunk beds. I feel my words can't do justice to how amazing this place is! We also really appreciated how proactive and responsive Sarah was throughout the booking and during our stay. This was our best Airbnb experience so far, by far.
