Monthly Rentals in Barkisland

We had a super stay at the Gatehouse Cottage with my mother who has mobility issues. The accommodation was perfect for the 3 of us and mum really enjoyed her stay. Everything was just perfect and as described , with super nice touches like the fantastic homemade cakes and jams. Lesley and Graham were always on hand to ensure we where all ok but not too intrusive. They where Super host and have a lovely cottage. Delf Nook was a wonderful place to stay. Arrival and check in are made incredibly easy by the host Jill. The welcome basket and dog treats are a really nice touch. The kitchen has everything you might need. The shower was always hot with really good pressure. The enclosed garden ( good for the dog) was also nice to sit out in and enjoy the sun early evening. Delf Nook is ideally located for a number of beauty hot spots we visited. ( The Brontë village, Hebdon bridge, Todmorden). Also Check out Ryburn and Baitings Dams. Which have some great views We also went to the Old Bridge inn, £8 return using Uber from Delf Nook. It’s Nestled away over the little bridge in a wonderful sun trap, you might miss it. I would recommend booking in advance especially if the weather is nice. The food and service are great. The Sunday lunch was excellent. All in all a really nice weekend in a beautiful setting, would highly recommend to anyone who is considering this part of the country.

Wow what a beautiful home. So clean, fresh smell though out. Comfortable beds. Plenty of Clean cutlery. Everything you need and more. Very spacious and although it’s near a road, very quiet too. Beautiful views for the windows and balcony. Plenty to explore nearby. I would definitely recommend and even visit again Thanks

The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean, we couldn’t fault it. Great communication from hosts, really helpful and responded very quickly when we had any questions. Would stay again and would definitely recommend.
