House holiday rentals in Barmouth

The house and the views are lovely. We were bringing our adult children, partners and grandchild together for a 4 day break to see in 2025 together, it was perfect. We had excellent communication with Janine when required. A beautiful house and facilities, all loved the hot tub despite the weather.

We enjoyed our stay at Deb's caravan, which was clean and well-cared for, and also in a quiet location. The park was just a short drive from New Quay, so was ideal. It was also handy being opposite the dog-walking field, as I was able to take my dog out first thing in the morning, before we headed off to the sea. Communication with Deb was great, and she was very helpful when we needed to adjust the dates. I am very happy to recommend Deb's caravan as a great base for exploring the area.

The accommodation, location and facilities were perfect for a special birthday weekend for a party of 13... The house easily accommodated everyone, with plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was a superb focal point for a weekend of celebration and having access to multiple fridges was ideal. Outside, the natural pool was fabulous, as was the sauna, patio area and garden.. There are lovely walks from the house and a great local pub within reach. Very helpful neighbours on hand, if needed. Tim was an excellent host and this is a perfect setting for a special occasion.

I have been to many rentals and trips before, This place was by far the best of the lot. I'm not sure where to start from. The Large spacious house with loads of sitting rooms made everyone feel so comfortable. The Magnificent view literally from every window is something out of this world. The Massive garden was amazing. To top it all off was the private pool where the children and adults alike loved every minute. The House has loads of outdoor furniture, one could sense that the owners put their heart and soul into it. The house is at the end of a small road, so it has all the advantages, it's not in the middle of nowhere when things can feel a little eerie, but with the large front garden and massive backyard you feel all alone on this planet. The hosts were very responsive and assisted with all we needed. We didn't have to go out on trips, as we all wanted to stay in the house as long as possible. Leaving this house was extremely difficult as all we wanted was to stay much longer

Beautiful area, very peaceful with an amazing view of the beach. Pictures do not do the location justice, and the hosts were so helpful with questions and really friendly. Cannot recommend enough if you want a spot just to relax and enjoy

We recently enjoyed a fantastic 4 nights family reunion, and we couldn’t be happier. Doreen was friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, making us feel right at home. The property is very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. We were pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen and pantry fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups, and glasses. One of the highlights was the amazing fire pit, beautifully surrounded by trees and lights, creating a magical ambiance at night. Doreen always refilled wood for cozy fires each evening. We also loved the swimming pool with its clean water and perfect temperature, and the hot tub provided a relaxing retreat after a day of fun. Overall, our experience was great, We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you again, Doreen and Peter, for being such great hosts and making our stay so memorable!

Place was amazing. Location of caravan was best. Easily spotted. So thoughtful host. Internet connection was weak but lot of DVDs for kids. Many toys. Amazingly spare batteries were available too. Nearby amenities. Beach and town centre in walking distance. Weather got bad. So much rain and wind with power cut and no mobile signal for whole of the town that kind of made the stay little not well but other that our family enjoyed well. Would prefer to come to Aber in Summer and would love to stay here.

Perfect Airbnb. Spotless, very high specifications, everything provided. Some lovely biscuits and Welsh cakes left. Ideal for us. Nothing negative to say. Thank you

This place is perfectly located to the train station shops and take aways. The premises have everything you can think of for cooking , relaxing and entertaining. We love this place and is exceptionally run with so many extras that add to a great few days away . I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in fairbourne . We will be definitely coming again 👍 10/10

Mary was really responsive and went out of her way to help. House was incredibly spacious (and pink😁) and allowed everyone to have their own private space, but with large communal areas for socialising (kitchen/living areas and gardens.) Kitchen was really well-equipped. Super stay and would definitely come back. Thank you!

Absolutely loved the house from arrival to departure. We all had our own space even though we were altogether. The welcome was beyond amazing, the gifts and treats we were left and the presentation of the bedrooms took our breath away, we felt so spoilt. Thank you so much again for everything you made our family weekend amazing

Lovely New Year break to see in 2025 Gorgeous location and super cute cottage which was perfect for our family of 5 with lovely bedrooms the smallest of which was perfect for our excited 8 year old. Whittled away the hours playing games watching films and enjoying the family time away from our normal routine. Everyone agreed (including the 1 year old) that we will be back 🥰

We had a fantastic stay at Wendy's place. It is beautifully furnished and decorated and the kitchen is well stocked with equipment. The view is absolutely stunning and we really enjoyed our morning coffee looking out at the sea in the incredibly comfy chairs. There's a fantastic guide to the place and local area that Wendy and Andy have put together. Wendy was a wonderful host. She was always there to help if we needed her but we had plenty of space to enjoy our break. We made a short notice request to have use of the hot tub for our stay and Wendy and Andy very kindly accommodated our request clearly communicating the requirements for this additional service. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return!

We had a great time at the Lodge in February - plenty of space for all of us and the dog - good for walks and getting around the local areas. Better than the photos with plenty of extras that you can use - would not hesitate to recomend or visit again.

This cottage was so lovely & welcoming. The little summer house in the garden was great for the kids to play in & they loved the toys & books available in their room. Our little dog enjoyed playing in the garden and his dog treats that were included in the welcome parcel. The cottage was clean, comfy and we loved the real log fire which made the cottage feel even more cosy. There was loads of info on where to visit, and we did one of the small walks listed. Jennie was a really friendly host. We would definitely recommend this cottage & hope to go back one day ☺️

A fantastic home and a great location. We didn’t need to drive anywhere during our stay and had a few full days of exploring the area. Karen is a fantastic host. We felt at home and communication ahead of the trip was really good. 😊

we loved our stay ,house is perfect for a large crowd , plenty of space for everyone.Geoff the host was extremely helpful ,and gave great instructions to find the house as its off the beaten track .only downside is the extensive works that are being done outside the property,i think once completed it will be spectacular

This was a really nice and spacious property, ideal for a family. With shops nearby and a playground next to the house it was perfect for little outings.

What a beautiful house, warm and cosy and the views were stunning. Plenty of room in the house for us all and a lovely outside space. Lots of room for parking too. This house is a beauty, extremely high quality furnishings and everything you could need for a perfect stay.

We loved our stay at Glasfryn House. The house is gorgeous - it is spacious, beautifully decorated and felt like home. The lay out is fantastic - a large kitchen with dining area, comfy couches and wood fireplace in the living room with a second large dining table, bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and another living room, two bedrooms and large modern bathroom downstairs. There's a large deck, a hot tub in a private area, and a large wooded area to explore at the back of the property. Freda welcomed our two dogs and they loved the wooded area. This beautiful property is located just a couple of minutes walk away from the centre of Beddgelert, with lots of walking paths. It is the perfect location for exploring the area. Freda was a lovely host - very friendly and helpful. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas which made for an extra special stay in the lead up to Christmas. Thanks Freda for having us to stay.

Gorgeous house. Very clean and extremely spacious. Everything there that we needed to immediately feel at home. Lovely touch of tea, coffee, milk and breakfast cereal. Only a few minutes walk into town. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our second visit in less than 6 months! Great house and perfect location. Our children loved the house and local beach, great for scooting along and building sandcastles too.
